Sehr schönes, gemĂŒtliches und gut ausgestattetes Haus in ruhiger Lage. Jeremy war immer sehr hilfsbereit und sehr schnell wenn wir UnterstĂŒtzung brauchten. St Ives und einige StrĂ€nde sind innerhalb von 10-15min leicht erreichbar.

A peaceful place with a beautiful big garden. The cottage was nicely furnished and, although a bit dated, it was very cosy. We especially appreciated the scones with jam and clotted cream (a lovely cream tea!) and the fresh flowers on the table. The beds were comfortable, and having two bathrooms was very convenient.The only downside was the musty smell of mould in the right-hand bathroom. It really didn’t smell fresh. We kept the window open and the door closed, which helped a bit.

We had a lovely week here - the cottage was well decorated, very clean and comfortable with good wifi. The gardens and ponds are beautiful and full of bird song. Well located, just a few miles from each coast with lovely beaches. Access to the cottage is by very pretty but typically narrow Cornish lanes! There is plenty to see and do locally. Many thanks Jeremy for the lovely cream tea on arrival!

Schönes Haus in toller Lage

Die Lage des Cottages ist total ruhig. Man hört nur das plĂ€tschern des Baches. Zu dem Haus gehört ein schönes GartengelĂ€nde mit mehreren Teichen. Auf dem GelĂ€nde wohnt auch der nette und diskrete Vermieter.Im Haus findet man alles was man braucht, auch um ernsthaft zu kochen und zu backen. Das Internet ist schnell genug um Filme zu streamen. Mit dem Fahrrad ist man in 10 Minuten in St. Ives, zurĂŒck brauchten wir aber eine halbe Stunde.

Secluded piece of paradise

Absolutely fantastic stay at this secluded little cottage. The grounds are absolutely amazing. Jeremy was brilliant, nothing was too much trouble. Communication great. Close enough for exploring the surrounding area. Great addition to our stay was the cream tea on arrival. Will definately return. Thanks so much Jeremy you are amazing.

Quiet and homely

Jeremy was an attentive host, and made our stay comfortable. The cottage is secluded and took a while to locate, with some help from Jeremy. It took a day or so to settle in, but after that we were quite happy.

Schönes und friedliches PlÀtzchen

Wir hatten eine tolle Woche bei Jeremy! Das cottage liegt auf einem wunderbaren GrundstĂŒck mit einem kleinen See und vielen Pflanzen zum Entdecken. Hier hat man absolut seine Ruhe, um nach den AusflĂŒgen ein wenig zu entspannen. Die KĂŒche ist mit allem ausgestattet was man benötigt, dazu gab es einen Grill und Starbdspielzeug in einer Box. Jeremy selbst lebt mit seiner Mutter direkt auf dem großen GrundstĂŒck und war zu jederzeit hilfsbereit. Alle Tipps von ihm waren Gold wert. Der Strand war super fĂŒr uns als Familie, der Pastiesladen mega lecker, der Pub mit tollem Ausblick
 Wir können das Cottage nur empfehlen. Liebe GrĂŒĂŸe an euch Jill und Jeremy! Ps: Die Cream und Scones zur BegrĂŒĂŸung waren ein Traum!

Quiet and seclude

If you want quit and/or secluded thats the place to go. Lovely gardens. Unfortunately the weather was a bit cold with a lot of wind. That made sitting and anjoying the ouside problematic. We went out with the car a lot to visit like Mousehole and stIves etc.. We enjoyed our stay a lot. Driving on the narrow roads was quite a challenge.

Very nice week at the cottage .Enjoyed beaches and getting out and exploring. Old tin mine and walk, st ives carbis bay lands end st Michael's mount . Boys enjoyed paddleboarding and body boarding .

Wirklich hideaway. Abgeschieden, schön, klein Alles sauber. Aber es mĂŒffelt leicht, wenn man reinkommt. Die idylische Lage macht das aber wett. Morgens kommen Wildkaninchen bis vor die HaustĂŒr.

Positiv: Empfang und Hilfsbereitschaft Vermieter (20 m nebenan im B & B Swietwater Farm), Cornish Cream Tea zum Empfang, Umgebung Cottage (wo kann man Hasen schon vor dem ersten Kaffee beobachten?!), viele Highlights innerhalb 60 Minuten zu erreichen, 2 BĂ€der, Bank und StĂŒhle fĂŒr draußen Neutral: KĂŒchenausstattung zweckmĂ€ĂŸig, aber nicht topp. Warmwasser ĂŒber Gastherme - dauert manchmal etwas lĂ€nger Negativ: recht kalt und klamm im Cottage - ging nur mit Weste, WĂ€rmflasche und Decke auf Couch. Echt schade, aber das ist wohl die Bauweise - warme Sachen also nicht vergessen^^ (wollte Vermieter aber auch nicht fragen ob wir Heizung anmachen dĂŒrfen, um ehrlich zu sein) **** Und die Dorfstraßen in Cornwall sind schon speziell ;)

Idylle pur - ein Platz zum TrÀumen

Wir hatten hier eine wundervolle Woche in einem zauberhaften Refugium. Jedes Zimmer hat sein eigenes Bad, das jeweils gepflegt ist. Insgesamt ist das HĂ€uschen zwar klein, aber fĂŒr vier Personen absolut ausreichend. Von hier sind sĂ€mtliche Besonderheiten im SĂŒdwesten sehr gut erreichbar! Vielen Dank fĂŒr die warmherzige (und sehr leckere) BegrĂŒĂŸung! Jeremy ist stets da, wenn man Fragen hat und extrem sympatisch und freundlich. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefĂŒhlt.

A wonderful stay

We’ve rented this property for 7 nights. Peaceful, beautiful surroundings, picturesque garden and a cozy little home with very clean rooms and bathrooms. Jeremy has been very accommodating, and it’s very hard to think of things to complain about. We will definitely think of this hideaway again if we want to have another holiday in St Ives.

Tranquil setting

A lovely unexpected cream tea awaited us on arrival, with ample milk for a well earned cuppa after travelling. Peaceful and calm setting, the grounds are lovely to have a walk about. Off the beaten track, so no noisy neighbours. Slight critique, personal preference would of liked more plumed up pillows (they were a tad flat, and double mattress on the firm side) slept OK however and would highly recommend. Ideal spot for reading, writing or painting, thank you to G & J for sharing your lovely Cornwall plot, oh and not forgetting the beautiful Blue hydrangeas. Xx

Delicious food served in the 60+ restaurants in and around St.Ives,speciallising in locally caught fish and shellfish,and fantastic sunsets out to sea.
