"The Barn", som delar ingången enheten med stugan, nås via en enda spår gård lane "och är en ny omvandling av drygt 47 kvm. M. i golvytan.

Den har ett sovrum med dubbelsäng och kan sova ytterligare två på bäddsoffa i vardagsrummet.

Det är väl utrustad med golvvärme, en braskamin, helkaklat våtrum, avskalade furugolv, synliga takbjälkar, gratis WiFi, platt-TV och ett fullt utrustat kök med granit bänkskivor. Det finns en liten tvättstuga med tvättmaskin / torktumlare etc.

Innerdörrar är ek avsats och stagade och det finns en stabil dörren till huvudentrén. Franska dörrar leder från vardagsrummet till en upphöjd uteplats och en grov stenlagd sluten gård med bord, sittplatser och grill. Det finns gott om parkeringsplatser på framsidan av fastigheten.

Vi är glada att ta emot bokningar på mindre än tre nätter men en minimiavgift på £ 200. 00 kommer att gälla. Detta innebär att kalendern ska visa alla dagar som "tillgängliga ankomst" inte visas som "tillgänglig".

Narrow road to get there… absolutely worth it. Fantastic hosts. Amazing cottage. Views to die for. Home made bread and cake, milk eggs and bacon all ready. Best BB we have ever used

The Barn was fabulous. It was immaculately clean and had every item you needed for a few days away from home. It is situated in a delightful location and offers numerous beautiful walks to explore. We couldn't have been more delighted, and we are hoping to visit again very soon.

Amazing Barn with great views in a calm place not too far from Bath. We enjoyed the serenity and the fully renovated and equipped Barn. Felt very relaxing. Thanks for the lovely stock of food provided and the amazing lemon cake. Warm and welcoming hosts. Will definitely recommend this.

Lovely and peaceful place

Perfect for a relaxing week. It’s just a stone‘s throw from Bath, and also a great base for visiting Bristol and exploring the beautiful Somerset countryside. Would definitely recommend!

Excellent stay

Superb property and perfect location for Bath. Clean, peaceful and the hosts were perfect. Made us bread and cake for our arrival. We got a bus from the village into the city making it super easy but you will need a car to access the half mile single track road to get to the property.

Beautiful, tranquil, idillic

Everything about this gorgeous cottage is wonderful. It has been beautifully renovated to provide every possible comfort. The hosts, Vivienne and Richard are so friendly and welcoming without ever being intrusive. I must add ourselves to the growing chorus of fellow reviewers who rave about Vivienne’s lemon cake and home made bread which add to the warmth of the welcome! The cottage is brilliantly designed - modern but extremely comfortable. It’s cosy yet feels really spacious and the outside seating area provides stunning views of the surrounding hills that envelope you like a warm blanket. We loved the peace and quiet that the cottage provides whilst sitting within quick and easy reach of Bath - one of the most stunning cities in the UK. Can’t wait to return.

A lovely quiet setting and cottage with everything provided. An excellent cake and fresh homemade loaf of bread left to welcome us. Easy to find things in the kitchen and lots of cooking equipment. Peaceful outdoor space to sit and relax at the end of a busy day.

Nicely appointed; best welcome pack ever; predominantly clean, (dogs must have been on sofa, hence mild allergy sneezing but nothing visible - responsible dog owners).

Magical peaceful cottage 4 miles from Bath

This is one of the few places I have stayed where I found everything I needed.. cooking equipment,bin bags, tea, milk, bread and cake, eggs provided.Stunning views.Easy to park in village and get bus to city centre.Chip shop in village was good. Spa had all essentials.So peaceful at the top of a farm lane... highly recommend

Amazing!

It was amazing! We came to the barn late at night and there was cake and bread on the table and eggs in the fridge! It was such a great space and the walks through Bathampton were lovely. Thank you so much for having us! We definitely want to come back again!

We had the most pleasurable time staying at the Cottage, the host was so welcoming, Vivienne the cake was amazing! The surrounding are beautiful and rural, but only a short distance from Bath. The Cottage was excellent it had everything one would need for a stay away from home.

Beautiful holiday home

This is an excellent property set in a stunning landscape with wonderful walks right on the doorstep. The barn is very well appointed and the photos don't really do it justice. Great furnishings, lovely kitchen and wet room and a patio with seats and a BBQ that looks out over the local rolling hills. Really good break and we would definitely stay here again.

Loved our stay

Over 140+ 5 Star reviews spoke true with our visit. The narrow road to and from the rental was reason for a giggle. Vivienne and Richard were incredibly sweet and fantastic hosts... Who can not be happy when they love to do chores to Bruce Springsteen? The rental was comfortable, very cozy, private and perfect. Everyone had mentioned the delicious lemon drizzle cake and loaf of bread... Absolutely delicious. I want the recipe Vivienne lol. We couldn't take the rest with us due to us flying back to the USA... Silly airport customs. If we come back to Bath, we will certainly look to Vivienne and Richard to come back again. No complaints, only high regards and desire to return.
