Lovely and very comfortable

This is an excellent property with a well equipped kitchen, and very comfortable seating for dining and relaxing. We had everything we needed to enjoy cooking and eating all of our meals here. Lovely decor, comfortable beds, very clean everywhere! We enjoyed using the bbq! Communications with the host were excellent. Highly recommend staying here.

Great house and great location! Staying here puts you so close to so many places. It was nice to be able to walk downtown Old Colorado City. The host is wonderful. The house is wonderful and the house well taken care of. We would for sure stay here again! Thank you.

Old Colorado City jewel

This lovely home was welcoming with it's beautiful front garden and private back patio. David provided easy keypad access and we were able to check in a little early. The home was tastefully decorated, complete with prints of the owner's fabulous original paintings. The layout was a unique open concept with two easy-to-navigate steps between upper and lower levels. The kitchen was well stocked, although coffee was all the cooking we did given the wide array of restaurants just blocks away! David was super friendly and made sure we were comfortable.

Dream extended stay spot

Best CO Springs location imaginable: walking distance from Old Colorado City "downtown." Loved everything about this place, including the host's proactive and friendly communication, Can't recommend David's place highly enough!

Bijou house

We loved our stay! The home was very lovely and as pictured. They don’t show pictures but there is a private back yard area, we loved sitting outside there. The location is excellent and you can walk to downtown! David the owner was more than accommodating! So kind and helpful. He even called us before we got there. Also a lot of info on the area. Would definitely recommend!

Best VRBO stay ever!

Colorado sight seeing

This was a great location for visiting sights in Colorado Springs, Manitou Springs and Denver. The house was clean, comfortable and well stocked. The host made it incredibly easy to check in and out.

Really lovely, quiet, well appointed home.

Great covered patio in back

We had a lovely stay at the Bijou House. It was very clean and comfortable and had lots of nice features. It was very close to Old Colorado City but when walking, be aware of the hill to get back and forth! Highly recommend and would stay here again!

First trip to Colorado

The home was great home away from home with all the amenities of home. It was in close proximity to many tourist sites . We even had 4 6 pt deer visitors in drive ! Our little dogs felt comfortable there and had a nice enclosed area too ! We enjoyed the Garden of Gods , towns nearby and drive to Rocky Mountains! It was a great week !

Great Place!

This house was in a great location. David's communication put us at ease even before arrival and wanted to make sure that we had everything we needed during our stay. We enjoyed using the kitchen to prepare breakfasts before our outings and BBQ in the evening. We will return here in the future!

Family Vacation

This was an excellent place to stay. It was very convenient to Old Colorado City (could walk there in 5 minutes) and it was like a home away from home. The owner was easy to reach with any questions and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed, even offering to make dinner reservations for us our first evening in town if we wanted. I would highly recommend staying here for anyone wanting to see what this part of Colorado has to offer and would definitely stay here again. It was a great place to stay and great place to visit.

Dale runs her commercial contracting business while David tends to his photography and art pursuits. Together they have manifest a wonderful space in which to simply relax or to gather with friends or family. All the artwork in the home is original and mostly created by David.
