First ever VRBO for us

Clean, comfortable & in an excellent location. Loved the lanai in the mornings. It was great having stuff there to use like the beach chairs & cooler; made a huge difference in the trip. Kitchen had everything we needed. Communication with the host was excellent, even with small/ minor issues. Only complaint is it would have been extremely helpful to have had the code for the vehicle gate before we arrived. It was an unnecessary source of frustration after a 26 hour travel day. 100% i would stay here again.

Beautiful property and great location

The property manager is amazing. She is very communicative and supportive. The property and location are perfect for the beach and for being close to stores and restaurants. The condo is nice and very clean. Great TVs, internet, and other amenities. It could use a few updates such as the pullout couch, AC in the bedroom, and update hallway bathroom shower fixtures. Aside from those, this a great place to stay and I would highly recommend!

It was a nice unit with a few upgrades. No mirrored walls! Nice refrigerator with a great ice maker. Plenty of towels. Comfortable king bed. Beautiful lawns for the younger kids to run and have a great time.

Kamaole’s finest Condo

One of the best units and so close to the popular beaches. Amazing ocean view from the lanai. The condo was well stocked for our holiday.

All you need

The location was great. Easy walk to the beach and shopping/food. The unit had everything we needed to hang out at the beach all day—chairs, umbrellas, snorkeling equipment, boogie boards and coolers. Place was quiet and lovely.

Great Location

Property is well maintained. Access to Beach and pool area was great. Barbecue pits located by each of the buildings - very clean and well maintained. Condo was awesome - comfortable and the owners were fantastic with communication.

Great location. View of ocean is beautiful!! The place is a bit dated but definitely worth visiting. The bedroom has no A/c a bit warm but slept well. Definitely recommend the place.

Honeymoon in Maui

The overall property was wonderful. We were in Bldg 10 and had beach access directly across the street! The grounds were beautiful, pool area had ample seating and staff helpful! Our unit was perfect on the ground floor and had all the ammenities we needed for going to the beach! we would and will stay here again! Mahalo

Relaxing

Unit was clean , had everything we needed and across from beach. Pool and grounds were lovely. Jillian was very responsive to our needs. A relaxing spot close to everything but not too close. Loved the beach chairs . Mahalo.

Unbelievable

8 days in beautiful Maui. Unit has perfect lanai setting with well-groomed landscaping and view of the ocean. Beach is short walk across street with protected cross walks.

Great location — for fresh air lovers

The condo was spacious for two and perfectly located. I addition to being very close to the street, the property complex has a very nice pool and very nice landscaping.Cudos to the host, Jeffries, who was very reaponsive to our communications. We had one minor problem and he had someone come in less than an hour to deal with it. Only negative was the AC. The AC wall unit is very loud and far from the bedroom and on a five hour timer (turns off automatically after 4-5 hours). We turned it on whenever we were out and at night. We also had a fan blowing AC towards the bedroom. I don’t think the AC situation would be acceptable for anyone sleeping in the pull out sofa in the living room: too loud and too cool while the bedroom remains several degrees warmer. On the other hand, the ceiling fan in the BR was very helpful and offset the AC issue a bit. We would enjoy returning but wouldn’t consider it for three or four persons due to the very poorly balanced AC situation.

We have stayed at Kamaole Sands for years and love it. The property is always beautifully cared for and it's an excellent safe and convenient location. We will continue coming here for years to come. Our condo was exactly as advertised. Great stay! Love building 10 and being on the ground floor. The condo was stocked with everything we needed. Fast and wonderful communication with the property manager when we had questions. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Maui

The property is wonderful.This condo is perfect, it has all you need. Parking spot is close by, easy in & out with the locked gate. The beach is a minute’s walk away. It’s quiet.Love the ground floor. Some parts of the kitchen could use a deep clean but by no means was it inadequate, it was fine.it’s difficult to maintain absolute clean with a large turnover of guests with different levels of cleanliness/respect. The grounds are also home to various birds(including hens with chicks) that add a lot of charm to the lanai but also add a certain set of challenges. Overall it’s top of the list for go-to Kihei accommodations. Book it, you won’t be disappointed!

Perfect condo for beach vacation

The photo in the listing do not do this place justice. It is clean and spacious and fully stocked and ready for a couple or small family to have a great vacation. You’re on the first floor, parking spot is close to door, and your lanai opens onto a grassy field that looks somewhat resort-ish with a koi pond and some nice landscaping. Directly across the street is Kamaole beach park 3 which has a beautiful beach and grassy area, as well as small rocky cliffs with some walking trails nearby. You’re walking distance from a handful of local restaurants—I recommend Southshore grindz and also feeds Mexican cafe as well as 808 sandwiches. The condo is clean and stocked with all kitchen appliances as well as beach umbrellas, chairs, towells, sandcastle building tools and boogie boards! No snorkel equipment available however but we brought our own. The Kamaole beach park had great snorkeling reefs and we saw many tropical fish as well as some turtles. We also saw whales spouting in the distance! Anyways, I would 100% recommend this place, and definitely stay here again if I return to Maui!! IMO Kihei is way better than Lahaina, it’s more central and less remote. Also Kihei is less crowded and cramped than Lahaina IMO!! More condos and restaurants and less resorts, more affordable things to do and still a ton of fun! Anyways, stay here you’ll love it!
