Edelweiss Escape ligger i Tahoe Woods stadsdel av Lake Tahoe västkusten och har en öppen trädbevuxen gård i ryggen med en härlig eldkälla och ett fint stort främre däck med bord, helt ny propan Weber grill och rymligt badtunna med utsikt över kvarteret fylld med träd och en klyfta med utsikt över bergen. Det är ett underbart familjehem med gott om plats för utomhusaktiviteter!
Kör upp till denna tri-story hem med en rymlig 3 bil uppfart och stort 2-bil garage med ett tillgängligt pingisbord för lite roligt och spel! Steg upp yttre trappan, eller genom garaget in i entrén och uppför trappan till huvudnivån av hemmet.
Huvudnivån öppnar upp till ett mysigt vardagsrum med en bra vedeldad spis, platt-TV med kabel och DVD, och piano för de musikerna! Också på denna nivå, matplats med picknick-bänk-stil bord för 8-10, och nyligen ombyggda kök med gas matlagning apparater. Skjutdörr från matsalen öppnar till en härlig däck med en stor bubbelpool och propangrill.
Denna nivå innehåller också ett uppdaterat badrum och två sovrum. Ett sovrum har en California King-säng, den andra innehåller en våningssäng med en Twin madrass på toppen och drottningen nedanför. Tvättstuga precis utanför vardagsrummet finns en bakdörr med steg som leder till skogen bakom hemmet.
Gå på övervåningen till ytterligare tv�� sovrum och ett annat uppdaterat badrum. Sovrum till vänster är bra för barn med två enkelsängar och en bäddsoffa i två storlekar, rum att leka och fönster som vetter mot skogen. Sovrummet till höger är rymligt med en stor Kalifornien King-säng och utsikt över stadsdelen samt en glimt av bergstoppar.
Detta hus är idealiskt beläget nära Tahoe City. Ett spårhuvud som leder till Paige Meadows eller till Tahoe City ligger bara några steg från fastigheten. Sled, vandra, cykla eller l��ngdskidåkning bara några steg från din dörr. Kom och njut av allt som Edelweiss Escape har att erbjuda!

Quiet Get Away on Tahoe

The house was just as described. Comfortable and clean. Fans for every room which is a must on hotter days. Appreciate that it was dog friendly. Beds were firm but comfortable. Near wonderful hiking trails.

Winter Wonderland!

We loved our long weekend in you beautiful home! We had fresh snow for the kids to ski at Palisades, and for my husband (and dog) to snowshoe in Olympic Valley. The house and especially beds, were very comfortable, and we loved our evenings by the fire. We would love to come back again someday; maybe check out the neighborhood in the summer too. Thanks for sharing your mountain home!

Hard beds....

The mattresses were really hard. We like firm mattresses but these were super uncomfortable. All except one mattress were too hard. We all agreed and checked them all. Our daughter and her husband slept in the double bed because it was the most comfortable mattress. The bear wire around windows and on the entry mat was a little unsettling. The toilets were really low to the floor. The location was good. The place was clean and the kitchen was nice and well equipped. The pine interior made it feel like old Tahoe.

Amazing experience!

Communication was excellent! Really appreciate the agency and owner’s response time for all the questions we had. Property was AMAZING! Hot tub right next to the patio door, great kitchen stocked with actual tools needed to cook, and cozy & comfy rooms. Will absolutely stay again if available!

Edelweiss Cabin in the woods

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented this home for 6 weeks. 4 bed/2 full bath, kitchen is nicely appointed with easy ‘entertaining’ & a large picnic style DR table that has a slider to the second floor porch w/hot tub & ‘views of Lake Tahoe thru the trees. It sits on the hill but not too difficult to drive up the road as long as 4 wheel drive. Very quiet & peaceful. The home is rustic & wood paneling thruout (is dark at times). 2 car garage w/direct home access. Hot water, WiFi work great, never any outage nor shortage. Cabin houses 8 guests - 2 king, 1 twin, 1 bunk - with lower bunk a queen. The LR is tight for more than 4 guests, we brought up porch chairs to accommodate seating. Beds - pillows are new (with pillow case liners!!) great support & sturdy. Ample linens for our 6 week stay. W/D in house (washer needs balancing) .Kitchen has a a lot of cooking items (cooking trays need to be replaced) we grilled a few times. Home has a snowblower!! And a wood fireplace insert that works great. We were quite satisfied w/the home - entering from garage to a vestibule & then up a flight of stairs keeps all the dirty boots off the living floor. We purchased a remnant to keep the lower entry tile floor cleaner. The home fit our needs (we were one full bath short when 8 adults in home), furniture is a little dated & sparse in LR, & cleanliness is a 4. However, Hauserman is quite responsive to contact rather an owner.

Great Stay - Epic Adventure

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We recently stayed at the Edlewiess Escape during the March 2023 snowstorms for a family ski trip. The house was perfect, everyone got their own bedroom and the two baths worked great for the 8 of us. There was plenty of room and we never felt crowded. We were not able to ski several days as the resorts were closed due to weather, but we had a great time playing games, hot tubbing, sledding and stayed warm with the fireplace. The kitchen and eating space worked out great for all our many family meals. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything you needed. The driveway was plowed most days and the roads were drivable to the house. The location was close to town and the ski resorts. It was an epic adventure and the house was a big part of our fun trip!

It was cozy and homey - with a “cabin” feel... but still very spacious and complete with all the modern conveniences one could hope for! The neighborhood is lovely, very peaceful and the people we met were all extremely friendly. I loved the simple lay out of two bedrooms and a bath on the main floor and two bedrooms and a bath on the second floor. This is perfect for two small families in my opinion. They actually had king sized beds which was amazing! Firm mattresses (a bit too firm for me - but I slept well!).Just a 15 minute drive to the Alpine Meadows base area! Super kid friendly place - that even had some great games/toys. Our daughter built the play mobile volcano. Would totally recommend this home. Wonderful value and excellent stay. Thank you to the owners and thank you to Hauserman for another fantastic visit!

Great house and great location

We love North Shore and this was a great house in a great location! The description of the house was spot on! Very clean and it came with everything we needed. They even had an expresso machine! The hot tub was awesome after a day on the slopes and the kitchen and dining area fit our family and friends. The twin bed room was great for the kids and the rest of the rooms had comfortable beds. We would definitely rent here again. Loved how close it was to Tahoe City and to Alpine Meadows!

One great spot!

Lovely cozy bullet proof home on a cul de sac right off the woods and Tahoe Rim and Rawhide trails. The location was superb. The cleaning service did a great job but the couch cushion covers and throw pillows could really use a deep clean. Lots of stairs. Long flight from street/garage level to main living level. Otherwise totally dog and kid friendly. Lots of games for family time. We would stay there again. Kitchen very well equipped. Easy walk to coffee shop or Sunnyside or into the woods.

Wonderful time in Tahoe City!

Our group had a great time at the Edelweiss cabin! The house was in a great neighborhood, and was very clean upon our arrival. Some members of our group participated in the Spartan Race at Squaw Valley. The house was convenient and close to the venue (10 minutes). The house offered great amenities, and a great time was had by all! Highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a spot in Tahoe City!

The place was great. Amazing location, all the amenities you needed - even espresso maker - and a perfect spot for a little get a way from the Covid madness. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful place to relax!

We had a great time at the cabin. The listing and pictures were accurate. The cabin was well equipped. It is near trails and even we walked to Tahoe city from there. We will definitely love to rent it again!
