Excellent property

The owner was responsive and the house was great! You can't beat the rental price given the amazing location next to the river and close to Palisades Olympic village.

Perfect Palisades Ski House

The property was perfect for our family’s annual ski trip. It has a big, well-stocked kitchen, comfortable bedrooms and a great spa overlooking the river. The VRBO photos are accurate. Don’t miss this jewel of a mountain cabin.

Fantastic Location & Amenities

Communication with host was great from start to finish. House exceeded expectations with a very well equipped kitchen and a large hot tub. This perfect ski house is along the river in a very safe area and minutes from Tahoe Palisades. Plenty of room for a large group - we were a family of 10 and it never felt crowded. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again in the future.

Amazing stay with great location and home

The property is as close to the mountain as you would want with a beautiful view of the river and amazing home. The amenities are great and the rooms/beds are perfect for large groups. If you have the chance to stay here you should!

Great stay and location!

Very cozy house with a wonderful location near Palisades Tahoe. Allowed our group to ski very easily without a long drive in the morning. Loved the kitchen and dining room that wrapped around the large family room — all these spaces made for great environments to hang out and make memories!

Beautiful location directly on the Truckee river

Very much enjoyed our stay here. Very convenient for skiing at Palisades and Alpine. Hot tub on the river was really amazing. Very spacious property. Would definitely return.

Family weekend

We were in town for a family wedding and this property was perfect for our family. We had room to prepare for the wedding, room for the kids to hang out, and lots of space for the cousins to play The hot tub on the deck overlooking the river was incredible, And falling asleep to the sound of the rushing river was so peaceful

Fantastic house with thoughtful extras

The house was amazing! Absolutely beautiful, spacious interior and incredible views of the river. The furnishings were attractive with a mountain-cabin vibe, and the beds were extremely comfortable. The kitchen was the best, though, roomy with a breakfast nook and stocked with everything you might need, including many thoughtful extras like spices and garbage bags. My group of 7 adults loved it. We would book this house again, for sure.

Great location, great house for a friends trip

The house was perfectly placed for a ski trip with some friends from out of town. It fit ten of us comfortably. We loved how the kitchen was open to the dining room and living room so we could all hangout while of us were cooking or recovering from a long ski day.

Great Place

The house was great. Super close to Palisades. I was worried about having to drive over the small bridge, but the bridge was fine, and even with 4 ft of fresh snow, the snow was removed super quick. I would definitely stay there again.

Amazing house near palisades!

This house is amazing! So close to the base and right next to a beautiful creek. The living areas, bedrooms, and kitchen are spacious. The hosts were communicative and had the house ready to go for us after a long ski day. Photos don’t do it justice, will definitely stay again!

Wonderful stay!

Our family had a lovely stay here. The property is close to the Palisades, and it's right along the riverbank (which was lovely to wake up to every day). The house was well stocked, and we used the kitchen a lot - esp for cooking Xmas dinner. The kids loved it. The hosts were very communicative. Thank you for a great holiday stay!

New Years Vacation

We had a wonderful stay at the River House over New Years. It was the perfect place for our two families to meet up for skiing, sitting in front of the fire and cooking big dinners. The house is in an amazing location and has easy access to everything North Lake Tahoe has to offer. We hope to come back here again.

Family Friendly Winter Get A Way

This cabin was a perfect size for our family and watching the river swell and the snow transform the landscape around us was incredible! The views from the kitchen are fantastic and the view from all the bedroom windows gave us a special treat each morning when the snow would create a winter wonderland! We hope to come back soon!!
