Whether you're visiting in the winter or summer, this home is the perfect retreat for every season. In the winter, enjoy easy access to world-class ski resorts (Palisades is 15 minutes away) and snow activities (ice skating and cross-country skiing right in town!), while in the warmer months, the stunning beauty of Lake Tahoe's beaches, hiking trails, and outdoor adventures are right at your doorstep. There is a public beach called Commons beach that offers free music every Sunday in the summertime as well as watersports rental opportunities. The spacious home features cozy, modern amenities, a fully-equipped kitchen, and a large deck for enjoying the fresh mountain air. With its prime location on a quiet street, this rental offers the best of both worlds—seclusion and proximity to downtown's vibrant shops, restaurants, lakefront walk/bike path and a movie theater!
The main floor of the home offers a warm and inviting atmosphere, highlighted by a cozy living room featuring a beautiful stone fireplace, perfect for relaxing after a day of adventure. The living area is comfortably furnished, creating a perfect spot for gathering with family and friends or enjoying a quiet evening. Adjacent to the living room, you'll find a remodeled kitchen equipped with modern appliances, sleek countertops, and everything you need to prepare delicious meals. The main floor also includes a queen bedroom and a second bedroom with a full-size bed, providing peaceful retreats, and a full bathroom with contemporary finishes for added convenience. Whether you're cooking a meal, unwinding by the fire, or enjoying a restful night's sleep, this level is designed for comfort and ease.
Upstairs, you'll find two beautifully appointed bedrooms, each offering a serene retreat with cozy, stylish decor. One upstairs bedroom is a queen bedroom and the other can be classified as the kids room! The kids room has a queen, a full and a bunk bed. Both rooms feature personal workspaces, making them ideal for remote work or study during your stay. With ample natural light and a peaceful ambiance, these spaces are perfect for focusing or unwinding. Additionally, an upstairs bathroom provides added convenience and privacy, featuring modern fixtures and a relaxing atmosphere. Whether you're resting, working, or enjoying a refreshing shower, this upper level offers a comfortable and functional space for your entire stay.
The back deck offers the perfect outdoor space to enjoy the fresh mountain air and stunning surroundings. It features a dining table with seating for six, ideal for enjoying meals al fresco with family or friends. In addition, a couple of comfortable chairs provide a cozy spot to relax and take in the views. For those who love to grill, the deck also includes a gas BBQ, making it easy to cook up a delicious meal while enjoying the outdoor atmosphere. Whether you're dining, lounging, or grilling, this deck provides a fantastic space to unwind and enjoy Tahoe's natural beauty.
This cabin is pet-friendly for up to two dogs (with a $100 pet fee plus tax per dog), ensuring your furry friends can join in the fun. If you want to bring three dogs, you must get approval first.
CAMERA DISCLOSURE: Exterior cameras located on the front porch and back deck
PLEASE NOTE: This home may be equipped with outdoor surveillance cameras and electric bear fencing that are utilized for security and bear activity in the area. These cameras in no way infringe upon guests' privacy, and monitor exterior portions of the home exclusively. Decks and BBQ grills may NOT be available during winter months, exterior areas may be icy. This home is not equipped with AC. Per Placer County Short term rental laws, quiet hours are from 9pm to 8am, and no street parking is permitted at any time, including boats and trailers. We recommend purchasing 3rd party trip insurance if you have concerns about canceling your reservation.
Wells & Bennett Realtors requires $500 of your reservation total due upon booking and the remainder due sixty days prior to check-in. W&B will also add a $45 Accidental Damage Insurance Policy to the reservation. If you would prefer to have a refundable security deposit in the amount that the policy would cover, please let us know that you opt for that option instead of the policy.
Cancellation Policy / Cancellation fee: If cancellation is made more than 60 days of arrival, a cancellation fee of $100 plus the 4% booking fee will be applied.
If the cancellation is made within 60 (or less) days of arrival, the entire rent will be retained unless Wells and Bennett Realtors is able to re-rent the specified property.
If the property is re-rented, a cancellation fee of $100 plus the 4% booking fee will still apply, but the remainder of rent will be refunded after the replacement guests have checked out.
