My husband and I had a wonderful time at Wish Upon a Starfish! Gerry was very kind and accommodating and we were in awe of the house. Pictures do not do it justice, you have to see it in person! We loved walking out to the private dock and seeing all different kinds of birds. Only a 2 minute walk from the beach! If you’re looking for a quiet spot for a couples vacation, definitely book Wish Upon a Starfish! We will certainly be returning!Check out Old Bridge Diner for breakfast and Swain’s for dinner at least once, you will not be disappointed.

This is a beautiful, private, well-maintained property in a quiet area of the island just a few minutes walk from the beach. It offers an incredible view of the marshlands from the back deck. This guest house has a well stocked kitchen including filtered water (no need to bring or buy bottled water). The bed is very comfortable. I usually have trouble with back pain when traveling due to poor quality mattresses but not at Wish Upon A Starfish. I definitely recommend this property and I hope to return for another stay.

Very quiet and peaceful. Gerry was very knowledgeable about the area and gave good restaurant suggestions. Short walk to the beach and unit was stocked with everything you would need. We really enjoyed our stay.

The house was immaculate and very spacious. The location is nice and quiet which was a plus for us. We loved the view of the marsh yet it was a just a short walk to the beach. Our host, Gerry, has just about anything you could want to enjoy your stay, including kayaks and well maintained bikes. We booked our return visit almost immediately after checking out.

The place was very clean and had a lot of extra supplies which was nice. Gerry was around and helpful with replacing the bathtub stopper. There was no water in the marsh land due to drought. There is no ocean view. Maybe there used to be. We felt very comfortable there and it was great!
