SUNSHINE☀️HOUSE är en magisk strandstuga, perfekt belägen med avskildhet, lugn och en magnifik panoramautsikt över Karibien. Du kan se soluppgång och solnedgång direkt från det stora däck. Stugan är vackert inredda och det stora däcket har en soffa, stolar, schäslonger och en bänkskiva med pallar perfekt för uteservering.

SUNSHINE☀️HOUSE ligger 7. 7 mil norr om Governors Harbour Airport. Master Suite erbjuder en (king size-säng), vardagsrum med drottning futon och privat badrum, andra sovrummet har en queen size-säng, och det tredje sovrummet har två extra långa tvillingar.

SUNSHINE☀️HOUSE erbjuder vacker utsikt och på kvällen har du en möjlighet att se en stjärnfylld himmel och om du har tur kan du till och med se några fotograferande!

Det finns en havskayak på närliggande Rainbow Beach eller på gården vid SUNSHINE☀️HOUSE, till ditt förfogande. Du har också flytvästar till kajak, boogiebrädor och en hängmatta (i tvättstuga under däck) som kan anslutas till trädet nere vid vattnet.

Sunshine house was perfect; it had everything one could need. Thank you Jennifer for a wonderful stay. It literally is a sunshine house as you can see the sunrise from one side of the deck and track its progress across the sky to the other side of the deck. Every room had its own fans and air conditioning that made life perfect. 2 full bathrooms, 3 bedrooms, lots of closet space…what more could you ask. The house is about a 3-minute drive to a wonderful grocery store that has everything one could need and the fully equipped kitchen made things very economical. Rainbow beach (another 3-minute drive) was our favorite beach on the island. Everything was so perfect we never needed to contact Jennifer. Perfect for a family of 4-6.

Jump into the Ocean & Enjoy the Breeze

Jump into the ocean right from the house and snorkel some coral structures where you can see tropical fish. The location was ideal to explore all sides of the island. Our host was incredibly responsive and her local caretaker, Lisa, helped us out with a few needs during our stay. I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Getaway

Amazing views and perfect house for our family of five. Has all of the essentials that you could need or want. Close to lots of activities and restaurants. Rainbow beach is incredible. And the host could not be more wonderful. So grateful they’ve had the opportunity to stay.

Sunshine Paradise

Sunshine House was so much better in person. Spectacular views ! It’s a super quiet area. Great location for morning walks. Extremely clean beach cottage. Big plus having Starlink ! Easy communication with Jennifer and Lisa. The one recommendation would be Tommy Bahama Style Beach Chairs to use. We found a local company to rent some for our stay. We would absolutely stay at the Sunshine House again!!! D&J Brewster

Girls Trip

The house was great. It had everything we needed and the views are spectacular. We had a last minute snafu with my husband's passport, so it unexpectedly turned into a girls trip. The owner went above and beyond to check in on us and make sure we had everything we needed. The island is absolutely beautiful. We will definitely be back.

A Magical Place

My wife and I just returned from a five night stay at Sunshine Cottage, a perfect beach house, clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. We especially loved the deck where we spent mornings watching the sunrise and evenings gazing at the stars. A couple of questions came up during our stay. Jennifer was always responsive by text as was Lisa, her local contact. We enjoyed dinner a couple of nights at the Rainbow Inn but saved the last night’s dinner for the Front Porch in Hatchet Bay which was a real treat. Overall, it was a wonderful vacation in a magical place.

Breathtaking views!

Having never been to Eleuthera, I peppered Jennifer with questions. She always responded with thorough, helpful information. The house was very clean and the beds were super comfortable. The kitchen was well- stocked, the beach towels were great. She even has a padded cooler bag which was great for our excursions. The view is truly spectacular and we were able to hop in the water in front of her house and do some snorkeling. It’s location is great- close to the Big Rock store, liquor store, Rainbow Cay and the excellent Front Porch restaurant. Thank you!

A delightful stay in this terrific house

Our stay at the Sunshine House could not have been better. This was our second visit to Eleuthera and our second stay at Sunshine House. It is located in a convenient area for exploring the central region of the Island. The house setting is fantastic; its south exposure offers panoramic views of the Caribbean with amazing sunrises and sunsets from the well-appointed deck and waterfront. The house is well-equipped, wonderfully decorated, and spotless, with very comfortable furnishings. The waterside location provides fairly easy access for swimming, snorkeling, and kayaking and is a comfy spot for seaside morning coffee and afternoon cocktails. The property description is very accurate. We are dreaming of our memorable time here and will plan on a future stay at the Sunshine House and in this beautiful area of Eleuthera.

If I could give 6 stars out of 5, I would. Everything was not just as advertised, but better. Communication with the host was close to instant, everything we needed was in place at the amazing Sunshine House and we CANNOT wait to return! The island stole our hearts fully and completely and the Sunshine House was a big part of that. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Paradise Found at Sunshine House

We absolutely loved our experience with this property. Right from the beginning, the owner was so helpful and responsive. It felt like renting from a friend. She even helped us rent a car. Once we arrived we were delighted with Sunshine House! It was just like the pictures. Clean, cute and classic. We immediately felt at home. It had everything we needed. The view was incredible and we loved hanging out on the deck looking at the water. It was conveniently located to explore the island. Eleuthera is exquisitely off the beaten path. Beautiful beaches without another person to be seen. After Eleuthera we traveled to the Baha Mar in Nassau and it didn't match up. We kept wishing we were at the Sunshine House and soaking in the beauty of Eleuthera. We can't wait to go back and stay at the Sunshine House. Thanks for letting us stay!

What more could you want?

My husband and I stayed here for a week in Nov. of 2019. The house was as described and we found it to be very comfortable. We had a minor issue with getting the WIFI working when we first arrived but we were able to contact the owner and it was fixed the same day. The view is gorgeous and we spent most of our time there on the deck. Although we didn't go in the water I can't imagine why you wouldn't be able to. The walk down there is very manageable although the water entry might be a little tricky, especially during rougher weather. We did experience a couple of power outages while we were there but that is to be expected. A couple of lanterns would be nice to have for when this happens. We could only find a candles which helped but isn't optimal. Take note when the power goes out you won't have much running water so use it sparingly, we didn't know this. The house is a comfortable drive to both the Glass Window bridge and Governor's Harbour and is very close to Rainbow Inn (great pizza and service!). We are already talking about coming back to the island in 2021 with our 3 kids and would consider staying here again.

Really cute and clean !

The house was so cute, clean and nicely decorated. Nice balcony overlooking the water. The pics on the add pretty accurately depict the water. It is rocky and a little scary to think of entering the water there at first. During low tide when we could actually see the rock formation, we decided we would be ok entering there. If it is super windy and rough, it may be a little iffy. The "man made steps" were a good plan. We snorkeled there some and the ladder was useful getting out. We did encounter several smaller jellyfish. No stings though. Used the gas grill a couple of times. The back burner didn't work, but there were just 2 of us so we easily made it ok. The host was super reliable with communication and prompt. I feel like the price was fair for the stay. I did notice the fire extinguisher was not charged (Im a flight attendant and innately notice these things! I notified her and she said she would check into getting it charged. Not sure if that has happened or not. I would stay here again. The only thing that may make me want to go somewhere else is that I love to walk out of my door and be able to go for a stroll on a sandy beach in the mornings. There are sandy beaches close by, but you would need to take a short drive to get there. Rainbow Bay Beach was the closest and one of our favorites! We did have some issues with the no see ums and/or some sand fleas in the evenings while sitting on the deck. Really enjoyed the place all in all!

A wonderful house and location!

We stayed at Sunshine House for the first 5 nights of our 8 night stay in Eleuthera. It was the perfect location for exploring the top half of the island. It was a beautiful and easy drive from Northern Eleuthera Airport. When we arrived at the house it was unlocked and ready for us to move in. Lisa, the caretaker, stopped by shortly after we arrived to check on us & she was so kind. The road is very quiet, so you just park on the side of the road, in front of the house. There is a plenty of outdoor/deck space to spread out and unwind. Pretty plants and trees and a little path that leads down to the water. There are rock stairs and a metal ladder to get down to the water, but we didn't get in b/c the water was pretty choppy the entire time. The constant sound of waves was so nice! The huge wrap around deck has really nice teak furniture, some adirondack chairs and two lounge chairs. Plus little string lights to put on at night. I read books out on the deck every night, and the stars were AMAZING. Two sets of double doors lead out the deck. The kitchen was fully stocked (coffee maker, french press, pots, pans, cutting boards, utensils, pitchers, microwave, dishwasher, ice trays, water dispenser, dish soap, etc). The only thing missing was a larger nonstick frying pan! Large dining room table, wicker living room furniture, shelves with books/bar glasses/maps, etc. Bedrooms were great - cozy beds and linens and ample closet space. The master bedroom is way bigger that it shows in the photos - king bed, dresser, ample closet space, plus a TV area with futon and plenty of board games and movies. Air conditioning worked great (four wall units) plus each room has ceiling fans and extra floor fans. Cozy beach towels were provided as well as extra snorkel gear, wetsuits, boogie boards, float noodles, beach chairs, etc. Washer and dryer underneath the deck. The kids loved running around in the yard. What was great about this house is the location -- very close to so many things. Rainbow Beach is so great (great snorkeling for adults and kids) and just a couple minutes away. Also close to Queen's Baths, The Cliffs, the Glass Window Bridge, great beaches (Secret Beach, Surfers Beach), Hatchet Bay, James Cistern, etc. Easy day trip to Spanish Wells from this location. We felt very safe at this house and Jennifer always got back to me right away when I emailed her beforehand. We would stay at this place again in a heartbeat. Perfect for a family of 4 or more.

Sunshine House

The home and local Rainbow Bay Beach area were great. Quiet neighborhood and beautiful beach and views. The downside was not much choice for food/grocery/restaurants nearby. Most restaurants in the vicinity were closed, closed on Mondays or closed at 5-6pm. Grocery stores were poorly stocked and expensive, and restaurants always ran out of menu items. I cannot stress enough and recommend that you pack a checked bag (or two) of prepackaged food, such as frozen meat, coffee, snacks etc. Even paying $50 to check a bag will save you $$ in the long run. The A/C in main living room froze up on day two and did not cool properly and the tv did not work/no service.

In April of 2012 our family took a vacation to Fort Lauderdale and the Florida Keys. Prior to our trip I began searching for properties in those areas of Florida. I realized after our vacation that Florida was a fun place to visit, but it did not have the privacy and tranquility that we were searching for. In early May 2012 a Google search for waterfront properties brought me to SUNSHIN☀️HOUSE in Eleuthera. I quickly booked a flight to the Bahamas, a destination I had never been. My husband was unable to join me, so I made the adventure on my own. Seeing the location of SUNSHINE☀️HOUSE for the first time, it was love at first sight. I knew it was the one! I entered the house through the single sliding door that has been replaced by a hurricane French door. The house was completely empty and needed a lot of updating and tlc, but it had very good bones. In the four days I spent on Eleuthera, I found our new home. I had only looked at one other house but knew SUNSHIN☀️HOUSE was the one for us. The most magical thing about this whole experience has been the many beautiful friends we have made.
