High Seas är en rymlig, kulle 2 king size sovrum, 2 badrum stuga med underbar utsikt över det blå Atlantvattnet. Det stora, stora stora rummet är luftigt och kallt tack vare högt i tak och många fönster. Det finns AC i vardagsrummet och båda sovrummen. Njut av dina måltider på 400 kvadratfot omslagsdäck. Med de svala havsbrisen kan du titta på vågorna som bryter mot James Point, fiskebåtar från Harbour Island eller ett kryssningsfartyg som seglar förbi. Köket har lyxiga apparater och en central ö / frukostbar för dig att laga mat och umgås. Det stora sovrummet har en king size-säng och fantastisk havsutsikt. Det leder till ett stort spa-liknande badrum med en rymlig duschkabin. Gäst sovrummet har också en king size-säng. Best vacation ever!

Our stay at High Seas was nothing short of spectacular! The house itself had everything we needed and was in a beautiful and secluded area but super close to Rainbow Bay. The house was just as pictured…open and so bright and the view of the ocean was beautiful! Just as important was the communication we had with Jackie. She was responsive and so nice and provided us with great information about the house, the area and the island. 10/10..highly highly recommend !!!

Staying at the High Seas was the cherry on top of a beautiful vacation at Eleuthera! Before I even booked our stay, Jackie was SUPER helpful answering all the questions I had... rental cars, weather, airports, etc. Booking a vacation out of the country can be stressful, and Jackie made the process super easy! We also booked our rental car through Laura's housekeeper, which was convenient. The house was spacious, clean, cozy, and most importantly, a 2-minute drive from Rainbow Beach (this was our favorite beach!). The house even has a deck, which was great for eating meals outside and watching the sunset. If you are thinking about booking the High Seas... do it! Thank you Jackie for a relaxed and much needed vacation!

Healing Eleuthera

The house was perfectly located and had more than everything we needed. Clean, very comfortable, spectacular views, total privacy and peace. We snorkeled, kayaked and/or swam every day. Beautiful sunsets from Rainbow Beach. I look forward to staying there again!! Jackie and Laura were great!!! Thank you!!

High Seas is a marvelous hideaway!

The cottage is quiet, clean and secluded which we love! It is perfect for us. It is centrally located on the island which turned out to ba a huge plus. After touring the whole island we found we could not have picked a better location. We were picked up at the airport by Bill who we enjoyed immensely and Laura the host was very responsive, warm and welcoming. We are so planning to come back that we are keeping our island map!

We loved staying here. Jackie was so helpful and communicative, and got us hooked up with car (necessary on Eleuthra). We loved Rainbow Beach, which is a quick drive from the house, as well as eating at Delish (our favorite restaraunt). AC in the bedrooms works great -- and the view at night from the back deck was transcendent -- so many stars! Yes, Eleuthra is a bit "rustic" as an experience, but the property is lovely and the calm is addictive. Will definitely be trying to return.

Breathtaking!

Thank you for a wonderful vacation in Eleuthera. My wife and I agree that it is our new favorite destination and we have already begun research to bring our three sons back with us next year. Your home is quaint, comfortable and super cute. The ocean views are breathtaking and the central island location is perfect. Your taste in island décor has made the High Seas a sweet and accommodating retreat for those who seek tranquility and convenience. Thanks again and good luck on HGTV!

The vacation did not last long enough

We loved the very quiet environment. It is the perfect place for a quiet get away. The property is surrounded by trees for maximum privacy. We love sitting on the deck and watching the ocean as the world floats by. It is also great for sun bathing. The location is convenient. It is only a short drive to Rainbow Bay and nice restaurants. I would suggest Pizza night at Rainbow Bay Bar and Grill, dinner at the Front Porch, and Brenda and Billy Stubb’s BBQ for lunch on Friday and Saturday. Jackie, the owner is very easy to reach and attentive to our needs.

Awesome!

What a wonderful place. The house had everything we needed and then some. Laura and her husband were wonderful while we were on the island and Jackie was awesome with all the pre-vacation questions (and we had a lot of them!). The island was our kind of place- wonderful people, beautiful beaches, quiet and very laid back. We love to stay at places where we actually get to "check out" from the real world and this most definitely works for that. Thank you again for a wonderful experience and for some truly amazing memory making moments (especially the beautiful blue looks like glass water!

Private home, amazing views and perfect location in charming Rainbow Bay!

Our third trip to the island but our first trip to Rainbow Bay...we loved it! The house was clean and tidy upon arrival with a well equipped kitchen and chilly AC units. The house itself has a nice view of the Atlantic and a wonderful breeze that blows through the house because of it. The location of the property in relation to the island makes it easy to spend time on the North or South end of the island. We stayed in the area and frequented the excellent Rainbow Bay beach which is just up the road. Property manager Laura popped in and could not have been more helpful or nice and Jackie the owner went above and beyond answering emails and any questions we had. We loved this home and look forward to coming back!

Glorious Vacation

My husband and I loved staying at High Seas! As this was our first time on Eleuthera, the location was perfect. It enabled us to explore the entire area. The view from the deck was breathtaking- both for sunrises and sunsets. We loved the Sunset Cove and Rainbow Room for supper/drinks and sunset views and friendly staff. Daddy Joe’s, near Gaulding Cay Beach, is a great place for drinks, lite bites and dinner with some dancing! Tippy’s and Poponi Beach are must visits. Be sure to try fresh fruits- pineapple , sugar apples, soursop, sapodilla, etc. We’d come home after our day’s adventure and sleep soundly in our comfy bed and awaken to the morning bird song! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Paradise with Privacy - Fantastic Rental!

This home is gorgeous! From the moment I set my bags down I felt so comfortable and relaxed!! The house is lovely - tastefully furnished and attentive to detail - like a luxury hotel at a fraction of the price. The views are spectacular and we watched a beautiful sunrise over the ocean every day. Jackie and Laura were right there for anything we might need but never intrusive. We also rented Laura's car - so easy - ready and waiting at the airport and perfect for lots of off road island adventures! Had the best time exploring this tropical paradise. I will definitely be back and will look no further for the perfect place to stay on this magical island. Highly recommend!

Worth The Wait

Because of COVID, It took us a couple of years to get to High Seas, but it was certainly worth the wait. The owner, Jackie, is a dream to work with and her property manager Laura also does a great job. This property, located in Rainbow Bay, is a perfect launch point for all of your adventures. Head north and you’ll quickly arrive at The Queen’s Bath and the Glass Bridge. Head south to continue your adventures at Governor’s Harbor and beyond. Right close by you can snorkel and kayak at beautiful Rainbow Beach. For dinner you can walk from High Seas down to our go to place for supper, the Rainbow Inn Restaurant. High Seas is a wonderful place to stay in beautiful Eluethera and we hope you’ll enjoy it as much as we did!

Beautiful Eleuthera

I find it hard to put into words out trip to Eleuthera! We had been wanting to visit for over 5 years & it did not dissappoint. It was everything we expected & more! High Seas is exactly as advertised - great location, comfortable, clean & had everything we needed during our stay. Laura, who takes care of the property was super easy to deal with - we rented a car from her which was very reliable. We had gotten over to the island earlied then expected & she was quick to accomdate us. Jackie the owner was also super easy to comminicate with. We flew over on Westjet, who were positioned to strike the week before out trip & she was very understaning. Would highly recommend High Seas! Overall wonderful experience! Can't wait to go back

Plenty of room to relax

The house is nice and we loved sitting on the back porch. The shrubs and trees block the ocean view but we could hear the waves crash. The island is long and skinny and this house is located in a central area away from noise and crowds. Really nothing is within walking distance which was a little disappointing. The beaches are really beautiful with crystal-clear, blue water but there is a lot of coral rock so there are only a few long beaches to walk on. It is difficult to access some of the better beaches because of lack of signage or good roads. Power and Internet are unreliable but you get use to it. It’s a gorgeous piece of paradise. Don’t miss Hatchet Bay Cave!

Fabulous Vacation!

What a wonderful experience! The island of Eleuthera is magical! We loved our little yellow house - Jackie, the owner, was easy to communicate with and answered any questions we had. She set us up with our car rental also (thank you Laura!) The house was in a great central location, as it was not too far from many fantastic sights and beaches. The evenings were cool so we could open the windows and hear the waves crashing on the rocks below. The deck is awesome and we spent every morning out there with our breakfast and coffee. The house comes with kayaks, snorkeling equipment, beach chairs, cooler and many other items necessary for the beach which we took advantage of and thoroughly enjoyed. As my husband said, "Eleuthera is not for everyone, but if you want an adventure - GO!!" It will be well worth your while and an experience you will never forget! And oh yea, rent Jackie's house too!! :)

Great house

House is located in a quiet area of the island, on a street with very few other houses (I think two others) so it felt secluded and private. You can hear the Atlantic waves crashing from the balcony! House was very clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. Beds and couches were comfortable. Nice decor. Wi-fi worked great. The natural walk way up to the house is a little uneven and I think railings would be useful for the two sets of stairs to get to the front door (as a person with bilateral knee injuries I just took my time and was fine). Very glad for the bright outdoor lights at night. Had issues with closing the side doors to the porch on the first night. I was able to let Laura know and she sent someone to look at it. He said it was due to the high salted environment and some repairs needed to be done to accommodate. Of note there is a washer in the en suite bathroom with line drying outside at the side of the house. It was so nice having a large amount of clean drinking water available to us when we arrived. You do have to refill this and take out the trash upon departure (trash location is a few minutes drive south; was easy enough to find with the directions provided). Host Jackie was great with communication and provided a very helpful and detailed resource about the island. The Rainbow Room restaurant is a short 5-10 minute walk and it has great food (did not get any drinks) and nice staff. James Cistern neighborhood is about 10 minutes away (has conch stands, bars and restaurants with great views of the sunset). House is about 30 minutes away from Governors Harbor and about 20 minutes from glass window bridge. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property. I was able to find the HGTV episode on Discovery Plus: season 1 episode 12 (entitled “This is not Los Angeles”) of Bahamas Life. Was pretty cool to see this before we arrived!

My wife and I loved our stay at High Seas. The property is exactly as described, but I want to emphasize how peaceful it is—perfectly safe and serene, with only the sound of waves (and frogs!) in the background. Even during the strong winds from Hurricane Erin passing not too far from the Bahamas, the house remained completely quiet with all windows closed. Communication with Jackie was smooth and effortless; he accommodated all our requests and provided plenty of helpful tips for exploring Eleuthera. Starlink worked perfectly, too. We definitely recommend this property.

Perfect on all accounts!

A conveniently located beautiful house over looking the Atlantic. Pictures are accurate as far as all the amenities and set up of the house. Given the central location, it was easy to go either North or South. Super quiet and private location with the hushed sounds of the Atlantic waves arriving on the shore in the background, along with birds chirping and little lizards communicating with one another. At night, look up and all you see is stars...spectacular. Everything worked in the house perfectly. I don't know if the power ever went off as the solar back up system was in place. The rope swings on the porch were great to sit in and contemplate life while reading a book and having a coffee. We used the kayaks which was great as well. Kitchen is outfitted with everything you need and more. The floor plan maximizes the light and the views in the Great Room and the bedrooms were generously sized (especially the Master and the huge master ensuite). We'll be staying here again for sure. Laura and Jackie were very responsive to our inquiries and were always very helpful with tips and suggestions. Thank you for making our 2025 Bahamas trip the best ever!

Trip to middle island Eleuthera

We enjoyed our time at High Seas. The house is just as described and the help assistance from Jackie and her local contact Laura made our time there as easy as possible. Rainbow Bay beach is minutes away with an amazing beach and in our experience one of the best beaches on the island. Don’t miss dinner at the “Front Porch” the food and hospitality are excellent.

Our Favorite Island

This was our second trip to Eleuthera and it’s the kind of place that has you looking at real estate and thinking “can I just move here?”We booked this property before we left on our last trip because we wanted to stop by and see the outdoor area and the road to get there. Some places on Eleuthera are difficult to get to and I was wary about that for our next trip. Super easy to get to and the house had everything we needed. We cook most nights and all kitchen utensils and appliances were exactly what we needed. The hammocks on the deck were one of my favorite things. We had a couple days of crazy rain and wind, and the house had games which was really nice. Jackie also checked on us during the crazy weather, which speaks a lot about her as a host. She always answered questions quickly and had a lot of helpful information. The place we stayed previously advertised beach chairs and beach gear that ended up being in unusable condition, so we were thrilled that High Seas had beach chairs in great condition with an umbrella and coolers. The kayaks were also awesome! We would definitely stay here again. The beds were comfortable and the location was great. Thanks Jackie!

High Seas Paradise

We had an amazing stay at High Seas ! Right from the get go the communication with Jackie was comforting genuine. The location high over the Atlantic gave you great views of passing Cruise Ships with the sounds of crashing waves that added to your morning coffee on the deck. The constant breeze kept the noseeums away at night allowing you to enjoy the outdoor space after sunset. Beds were both kings and comfortable and bedrooms were very large. The kitchen had everything you needed with an added bonus of an electric grill for BBQing outside. High Seas came with two kayaks which were located right at Rainbow Bay Beach making it easy to use. The beach chairs were in perfect condition which was important for great beach time. One of the issues with Eleuthera is the constant power outages and internet disruptions. Ten years ago, I island hopped around the Bahamas, only briefly touching on Eleuthera. I decided to go back and properly explore Eleuthera and fell in love with the island. I am British and have lived in Los Angeles for the past 26 years, but dream of retiring in Eleuthera one day. Until then, I am happy to share my piece of paradise with you.
