Enjoyable stay in Eagle Rock

We especially loved the deck. The kitchenette is a bit limited, and getting luggage up and down the winding steps is a little tough, but the place is otherwise really nice. Comfortable bed, efficient layout, helpful host, good location.

Comfort and Privacy at a Great Price

I was in town for one week to visit family and needed a place to crash and have my morning coffee. This small apartment was perfect! It is a little gem. The deck has a lovely view and is so peaceful. What's more, Christine is a perfect host. She made sure I had everything I needed and that my stay was comfortable. I would definitely return to Christine's little apartment with a view.

Great location, very clean and quiet

It was just as advertised. Beautiful views from the deck—especially as the sun was going down. Great location for us. The neighborhood was very quiet, which made the stay also pleasant. Christine was very easy to communicate with and nice to chat with also.

Cute and spacious

For a one bedroom, this rental has a lot of living space. The bathroom was huge and the shower had excellent water pressure. Everything was spotless! I would definitely stay here again!

Our home away from home

Located right in the middle of anything you do. I always enjoy staying with Christine when we visit family. Everything we need is there, PLUS that deck with such a fabulous view! It’s so relaxing. Schedule time to stay in a day to experience where you’re paying to stay.

Relaxing Retreat

After a busy day in LA it was wonderful to come back to a comfortable place to stay. Nicely decorated with everything you need, and Christine couldn’t have been nicer!

Great Stay

I made this arrangements for out of town visitors that I was not able to accommodate at my own home. They were very comfortable and enjoyed their stay very much and I'm glad I was able to find such a great back up.

More Than I Expected

Christine was an awesome host. Super friendly and great communication. Her property was described perfectly. It was clean and modestly decorated. The neighborhood was gorgeous and quiet. We would definitely stay there again. Thanks again for a terrific stay in Eagle Rock.

Location, Quiet, Safe, Clean, Deck

Perfect location for us. Very safe, quiet and clean. Loved the deck. Nice sized bathroom, lots of amenities provided. Would definitely stay again. Three minor issues: 1) couches have no legs and sat very close to floor (need very sturdy knees). 2) lighting could be improved in LR - very dark. No reading lamp. 3) Even though several people liked the Murphy bed, we found ,it hard as a rock. Thanks Christine!

Great location and a great sun trap of a deck

The apartment is in a leafy suburb of LA so becomes a home from home. The kitchen is good if you want to dine in and there are some great eateries nearby in Eagle Rock, Pasadena and Highland Park. Christine is very welcoming host and Winston the dog is great too. The deck faces south so gets plenty of sun, just what we like.

Lovely, private, quiet, conveniently located to LA sights and Pasadena

Marvelous apartment that was roomy and quiet - an oasis when visiting the big city.

Wonderful and charming place to spend the week. We were in town for my son's wedding in a nearby neighborhood so the location was perfect. Loved the spacious apartment, the view and the garden. Spent mornings on the deck soaking up the sunshine. Cheerful and well lit, with good kitchen options so we ate in a night or too. Christine is a fountain of knowledge about the area and most helpful with recommendations. We were sad to leave. Definitely recommend it!!

Perfect!

Christine's VRBO was perfect for our stay in the Los Angeles area, close to Pasadena and Arcadia. It was very clean and comfortable (and cleanliness is high on my list of "musts"). The large bathroom was a plus! The kitchen area was a "bar area" that Christine had made very usable. It was well stocked with everything you need in a kitchen. A single cooktop, small oven and microwave included....just enough. Comfortable bed and living area. Our favorite feature was her deck!! Coming from Ohio's cold (in Feb.), we loved the warm, sunny California weather and ate breakfast out on the deck each day. Lunch too, if we there. Every evening we sat out and enjoyed the deck as well. Beautiful view. Christine was very nice and had muffins there for us when we arrived. Since we arrived late, it was nice not to have to think about breakfast. Also, plenty of coffee!!!! If we would ever need to be in the area again, without a doubt would stay here.

I"ll be back!!!

As this was my first VRBO experience, I was a little apprehensive. Needless to say, Christine, put any fears to rest. She is extremely friendly, helpful, attentive, yet professional. The neighborhood was quiet and the proximity was perfect to so much in LA. Very relaxing and peaceful surroundings. Her place was as advertised and had all the amenities necessary. Christine definitley is attentive to detail. The house sits up on a hillside and has a wonderful deck to enjoy. The kitchen had everything you needed and Christine provided morning muffins! The bathroom had ample space and good water pressure! A plus! The bed was so comfortable that I certainly didn't want to get out of it. Nice furnishings, linens throughout the apartment. Very clean. Parking wasn't an issue. My trip was too short, but there is no doubt that I wouldn't stay here again! Loved it!

I chose Eagle Rock as my home when it was an undiscovered section of Los Angeles. I have loved how much it feels like a small town within this vast city and I cherish the moment I get to head back here and breathe after a day of fighting LA traffic.
