Feel Like a Local

What a great property and location. While staying there, I felt as if I was assuming someone else's life as if I had lived there. The space has everything you need. Checkin was easy and the host was insightful and gracious.

Stay in Trastevere in Rome

The location of the apartment is nice and very close to shops, a farmers market and major attractions. The property is not very clean. The shower is nice -sized but has mold. The shower head is leaky and needs fixed. The shrub in front of the main door to the apartment seems to obscures the entrance and is dusty. Beware of dust rubbing off on your clothes. The host appears genial, but is extremely talkative and because of this the check in process takes an inordinate amount of time. If you have plans for the latter part of the afternoon please let the host know in no uncertain terms that you cannot endure the long check in process. Unusually the check out time is 9.30 am which I have not seen any where else. We will not stay at this place in the future as there are a number of apartments available in trastevere.

Wonderful location and host

The apartment was very nice and met all of our needs. Great AC which was very welcome for a July stay. The owner was very kind, knowledgeable and responsive. The balcony was not one that could be used and was to an interior courtyard but still very nice.

Trastevere apartment review

Everything about the apartment was as pictured and the location is amazing! The only reason for minus one star is that it was very difficult to get the correct temperature and pressure with the shower. Besides that it was a perfect stay.

This appartment has old world charm Some great restaurants at yr doorstep, bus and tram stop very close. You can walk to town if you’re fit enough and so inclined. Giulio the host is helpful too

Wonderful stay in great location!

Had a wonderful stay in Trastevere--a perfect neighborhood close enough to all of the major attractions but not too close! Great restaurants and cafes near by. The property was wonderful. Clean and in a safe area. Communication with host exceeded expectations. Would stay again.

Convenient flat for two.

The owner Giulio was very friendly & quick to respond. Entry was easy. The flat is good for two adults & well equipped. Trastevere is a very good area to stay. The only issue we had was that the ‘second toilet’ is not really available; the door is largely blocked by the washing machine & the very little room is full of brushes etc.

Doorway to Rome

Out the courtyard door: a daily fruit and vegetable market; a wonderful family cheese shop; an authentic old grocery shop where you pay at a desk at the door; a star-rated cafe bar that serves the best cream-filled materozzi in the city; easy restaurants; gellateria; convenience supermarkets; atmospheric Trastevere streets; bus routes into the historic centre of Rome and its breathtaking sites. This is the strategic centre of the apartment run by warm and kindly Dr Giulio. Inside all is warm, well-equipped, comfortable and secure. What more could you dream of?

Great location and accommodating host

The apartment location is in a great location for navigating the city. Dr. Giulio was also extremely accommodating with our multiple delayed flights, which resulted in an extremely late check in. We appreciated his responsiveness and flexibility very much!

Absolutely authentic Travestere apartment

We loved our stay here. Our host , Giulio, was so helpful, kind and caring. He met us in the morning and took us into the apartment and showed us around. We loved the warm and cozy feeling inside. It was perfect for my husband and daughter and me. My daughter slept on the pull out bed in the family room and my husband and I had the bedroom. We all slept great! The beds were very comfortable. One of the greatest things about this apartment is Giulio and his attention to his guests. Another great thing is the location. So close to everything! We walked everywhere. We can’t wait to come back and stay here again! Thank you Giulio for a beautiful experience!

Fabulous location

We could not have asked for a better location! Trastevere is awesome! Great restaurants & very walkable to major attractions though we did take public transportation to the Vatican as it was a tad further north of the rental to walk comfortably on the stone streets. Our host Dr. Giulio Cao is very quick to respond & has good communication in English. He met us upon arrival & brought us into the apartment. He is a very charming man. Once we figured out our neighborhood, we were very comfortable walking around this very safe & happening area. We can’t wait to come back! 5 days was sufficient to see all the highlights but, there is so much more to see here! And many, many more delicious restaurants to eat at! Addio Roma. Ci vediamo presto! Ciao

Wonderful apartment in Trastevere!

Superb apartment in Trastevere, very clean and well located (20 min walk to major attractions). The bed was super comfortable and the kitchen had everything to cook homemade meals or to have a nice breakfast before a day of exploring. Excellent restaurants and geleteria 3 min walk for the apartment. Giulio is an excellent host, gave good indications at the check in and was available for questions afterwards. Highly recommend booking here for your stay in Rome!

First time in Rome

We stayed for 5 days. It was a great location, with easy access to public transportation and walking to see sites. The neighborhood is filled with restaurants and bustling life. The bathroom is spacious, but the doorways are a little tight. The bed was a memory foam mattress, which you may or may not light.

From home to Rome

The apartment had a nice sized bedroom, nice shower, good living space. Many many good restaurants very close by - walking distance. The Trastavere neighborhood seemed very safe. Walking distance to great touring sites- Vatican City, Colosseum, Pantheon. Close to taxi service trains/ busses. Easy access to/ from airport via taxi or train. Host was great to work with-met us in person directly from the train via taxi. He was available throughout our stay via phone or WhatsApp…answered promptly. Wifi was good. Kitchen was adequate- we just didn’t use it for cooking. We had a great stay!! Thank Giulio!!

Delightful hidden gem in Trastevere!

Guilio met us at the door, took us up the lift with our bags, and led us in to show us around the apartment. He was delightful to talk to and extremely accommodating. The apartment is very secure, beautiful, in a great location close to all the classic Rome sites, and has everything you need! We were sorry to leave and would certainly stay there again.
