Hej, tack för att du tittade på detta fantastiska hem. Huset är helt nytt från februari 2016. Detta är den mest avkopplande platsen att vara. Det ligger i Slidell, LA vid sjön Pontchartrain. Det är 5 mil över Hwy 11-bron till New Orleans och är mindre än 30 minuter till French Quarter, Super Dome, Jazz Fest och Essence Fest. Huset ligger 55 kilometer till kasinon längs Mississippi Gulf Coast.

Njut av hisnande solnedgångar i sjön medan du sitter på utsidan av verandan eller från insidan av huset. Verandan som sveper runt hela huset som ger dig skugga och en trevlig bris när som helst på dagen.

Om du älskar fiske och crabbing, är detta platsen. Fisk och krabbor kan fångas utanför bryggan utan båt. Fisk hela dagen och natten under de ljusa lamporna som lyser på vattnet för att locka fisk. Det finns en båt som lanserar ett kvarter bort. Ta med egen båt och vattenskoter. Fiske charter finns. Dessutom var båtlanseringen från och med detta uthyrning av båtar.

Det finns inga problem att hitta en plats att sola. Grunderna rymmer rymligt utomhusaktiviteter som volleyboll, fotboll och kålbaseball.

Gifta sig? Detta är en vacker plats för bröllopsmottagning och bilder. En perfekt romantisk bröllopsplats. På bottenvåningen är 3800 kvadratmeter asfalterad täckt yta för bar-b-q, parkeringsbilar eller umgås. Vi kan tillgodose ditt evenemang också.

Det finns totalt 12 bäddar som är 5 king size-sängar, 2 queen size-sängar och 5 fulla sängar. Huset har fyra fulla bad och två ½ bad. Huset har ett komplett kök och ett tvättstuga på varje våning med en tvättmaskin och torktumlare. Vi har höghastighets wifi.

Handdukar, sängkläder, tvål, hårtork, strykjärn och strykbräda finns.

Denna stora tomt har parkering för flera bilar. Detta är ett bra hem för familjesemestrar och resor.

Huset ligger nära många restauranger, livsmedel, köpcentra och mer.

Bachelor Party Weekend

Great scenic location on Lake Pontchartrain, Slidell was a pleasant surprise to us out of towners, would have considered spending more time in town of we didn’t have such a packed weekend. Not too bad of a drive into New Orleans, but if using ride/share car service just know to look ahead at pricing and budget accordingly.Very spacious, great kitchen amenities and a nice pool. Sleeps 22 but do take note there are 12 beds. Bring your own soap to shower but over all very nice place and good experience.

Awesome property. Celebrated a friend's 55th bday. There 15 of us and no one felt like their personal spaces were being invaded. The pool was heated and water felt great in the 70 degree weather. Property is about 25 minutes from New Orleans. Great views with available fishing.

Great Extended Family Space

Great location. Essentials are available in Slidell, but you can easily access New Orleans. House was perfect for a crowd of over 20 people. There was great crabbing off the pier.

We had such a wonderful time at this location. We truly enjoyed all of the amenities, including the heated pool. Words can not describe the view of the sunrise and sunset each morning and evening. So calming. Breathtaking beauty. The property was clean, comfortable and beautiful just as advertised. The property owner/manager was super professional, kind, accommodating, and very responsive. when we travel this week again, it will be the same property if it’s available. Can’t wait to come back .

Great vacation

Went to celebrate a family members milestone birthday. Plenty of room for all of us and the pier was terrific. A/C worked great which was a huge plus in sweltering heat. No hot water first day but owner was quick to respond and it was back up and running on day 2. There were tvs in most of the rooms but couldn't find remote controls. Lots of restaurants and groceries nearby. Very close to train tracks so bring earplugs.

Great place for a large family to stay

We wanted to take the whole family to Jazz Fest. We had a total of 10 adults and 9 grandchildren 12 and under. They all loved the pool and fishing was excellent. Larry the owner was wonderful to work with through the entire process. Couldn’t recommend more highly.

A perfect group house on the water

We adored our stay at the Lake House and highly recommend it! Out of all the houses we've stayed in the NOLA area this is hands-down our favorite. Larry was very responsive and check in was a breeze. We found the house very clean and well-stocked. We appreciated that the dock and pool were gated for extra safety. This spot is a bird watchers dream, it's really magical watching the herons over the lake in the morning with a coffee on the deck. Besides the scenery, the house has an ideal layout for our family gathering. There are large, open communal spaces for gathering on every level (even under the house!) but the bedrooms are private and tucked away so older folks had no problem sleeping early while others stayed up. Having two laundry rooms was a very convenient plus for our crew. The location of the house sets it apart from the neighbors and makes it feel very secluded and private, especially in the lakeside area with the pool. A perfect choice for a family reunion!

Overall Great experience

Overall the experience was very nice. Eight military brothers of a special group we reunion every year with a different host. The ability to fish and crab from the pier was absolutely wonderful. Close to golf course satisfied the group that golfed. There was not a need for space, very spacious accommodations. More than enough beds and bathrooms. Some very minor aesthetics and I was looking forward to a heated pool, but did not feel heated. But I would definitely do it again. Actually considering it for next year.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The Host was very good about responding to any questions or concerns, always responded within 30 minutes or so. The only two things we were not happy about was that every bedroom does not have a TV and, the towels, wash cloths and dish towels have a very heavy sour smell, recommend bringing them with you.

More Than We Expected

We had a group of 20 adults (ages 29+) that stayed at this lake house paradise. Everything was as pictured however the pictures doesn't do this property justice. We so fell in love with this home and scenery. Waking up every morning was so peaceful and serene. The home was spacious enough for 20 adults with no problem. We used the pool everyday and even figured out how to get it heated, it was perfection. Location was 30 mins from French Quarters and 18 mins from Nola Pedal Barge so it was perfect for us. Larry was very accommodating and easy to get in touch with. I'd def stay here again and recommend it to others. You can't go wrong booking this home.

Summer Vacation to New Orleans!

Our family spent the week at this gorgeous home during our Summer Vacation to New Orleans. This was a wonderful stay with plenty of room and many amenities! We spent many hours at the pool and enjoying the views on the deck of this lakefront house! We also enjoyed the nearby restaurants (GilliGil's Island and The Blue Crab Restaurant and Oyster Bar). This was a fantastic way to relax on the lake and be close to New Orleans. Larry was a wonderful host, and we hope to return. Definitely recommend!

Lake House

This property was very nice and spacious. It’s proximity to New Orleans was good and you could walk to a restaurant. The only downside is it is very close to a train track. Also, the pool was cold.

Experience NOLA

Everything is as the description on VBRO with exception of heated pool. 56 degrees is not usable except as ice pack for tired feet after walking so much in NOLA. Family time together after Christmas. This is third house in three years. The bedrooms and baths were exceptional and the porch and outside spaces were great. Nine of my grands 18-26 were very content with space and adults were very comfortable. We came in behind another rental and things were done well except soap for washing instructions. Parking for six cars and a Bay boat and Slidell is a wonderful town with good eating places. We enjoyed the smoker for grilled oysters and bouidan as we made our own cajon delight meal.
