So this flat is amazing. We loved everything about it: two bedrooms with king size beds, two bathrooms, modern upscale kitchen and the outdoor patio. We visited Edinburgh with family to see the Fringe, Tattoo and all the amazing sights around town. The kitchen was fully equipped to handle cooking needs for four adults and dinners out on the patio were so enjoyable. Most events we saw were about a 15 minute walk away or less so getting around was very easy. Don’t hesitate, book this flat and look forward to a great trip!

Fabulous garden flat

A perfect location in Edinburgh, quieter neighborhood but walking distance to everything. The flat is beautiful, with everything you need to make your holiday fabulous. Owners have decorated and appointed this property thinking of everything. The beds extremely comfortable, spacious for two couples to enjoy the living room or garden after a day of touring the city, kitchen has everything you need if you elect to eat in. I could go on and on. Scott is excellent host with communication and great recommendations for places to eat, shop and things to do in city. We will be back and highly recommend you choose the Garden Flat for your time in Edinburgh.

What an amazing place

We had the best time staying at Scott and Marion’s beautiful, historic yet modern garden flat. The location can’t be beaten, so many places to visit short walking distance. The kitchen/living room with large doors that open to garden is hard to beat. The bedrooms and bathrooms all excellent you could want for nothing more. Scott was a pleasure to deal with we all can’t recommend the garden flat highly enough.

Fantastic Edinburgh Vacation Rental in New Town!

GREAT place to stay in Edinburgh

This is a terrific place to stay when visiting Edinburgh. Easy walk to most places we wanted to go, with lots of things to do close by. Owners took meticulous care to make sure place was ready for us when we arrived and gave us a TON of helpful information to make our stay great! Highly recommend staying here. :)

Will Stay Again!

Perfect! Very well furnished, comfortable beds, walkable and near brilliant restaurants. Host provided an extensive list of activities, restaurants and history of area. We ate at the end of the street at Little Capo and I can’t recommend it enough
.little small so go early before prime time. We loved New Town area and Northumberland specifically. The historical nature of the unit with all the modern conveniences makes it a winner! We contacted our host several times prior to our stay and he was quick to reply and very helpful. I wish all listings could be this good. Thank you Scott. We look forward to staying again next year.

Gorgeous property, perfectly situated

The flat is in the best possible location
 a short walk to Princes St & the Royal Mile, but far enough away to really feel as you live on the cute, residential street. The flat itself is great— the kitchen & living room open wide to a private garden where you could grill and sit. The time of yr just didn’t accommodate that, so we’ll have to come back! Two good sized bathrooms and comfy beds. Little touches like local fudge, and a beautiful plaid wool throw. Highly recommend!

Beautiful home close to everything in Edinburgh

Very clean and all the amenities! Loved that they had a garage and washer and dryer! Scott responded quickly with any questions and offered a lot of suggestions for places to eat and things to do in the area. The kitchen was well stocked and a market is very close. Would definitely recommend!

My wife and I have lived in Edinburgh for over 30 years now. We have 6 'twenty something' year old 'children' and have lived in our Town House in Northumberland Street for almost 9 years now. Most of the 'children' have now left home and so we decided to convert the Garden Flat into a completely self contained property suitable for holiday/business lets. It is stunning and is the sort of place that we would want to rent if we were visiting a capital city ourselves. We would like to think we have thought of most things which will help make your stay comfortable and special. We even have an available garaged car space nearby for an additional charge if you wish to take your car with you to allow you to explore further afield.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

The property is quite unique for the letting market in Edinburgh in that it also has it's own private and self contained gardens at both the front and the rear of the property, as well as a garaged car space nearby (for a small additional charge). This architect designed garden, which has also recently been redeveloped is accessed directly from the kitchen/dining/living areas via large glazed double doors onto a stone patio area. Outside tables and chairs as well as bench seating are provided for private guest use as is a gas BBQ (gas supplied). The garden is lit too so can be used in the evenings. While we do not condone nor encourage or even allow smoking in the property, smokers are welcome to use the front or back garden areas for smoking. We ask that guests refrain from using the garden after 11pm at night as sound travels and we do not want to disturb our neighbours

Open plan living/dining/kitchen area with stunning outlook onto a recently redeveloped contemporary garden, and all in the heart of the City within walking distance of all of edinburgh's unique attractions. 2 large bedrooms, one with a Hypnos SuperKing bed which can split into two twin beds, one with a Hypnos King bed plus a new JayBe put-me-up suitable for a child, and a cot. All windows are double glazed.

We also have an available garage space nearby which can be leased at an additional cost for the duration of your visit.
