Detta är en mysig, modern lägenhet belägen i en traditionell byggnad i Lissabon byggdes i början av SEC. XX. Lägenheten totalrenoverades i oktober 2017!
Beläget i karakteristiska och berömda Alfama distriktet, alldeles intill ingången till Castelo de São Jorge, denna charmiga lägenhet erbjuder all den komfort och härifrån kan du enkelt komma åt de mest typiska platser i Lissabon.
Lägenheten ligger i hjärtat av det berömda området Castle of St George, men en mycket lugn gata. Läget kunde inte vara bättre. Härifrån kan du enkelt gå och besöka de mest intressanta platserna i Lissabon som Castle of St George, katedralen, Alfama, Chiado, loppmarknad, centrala Lissabon eller vattnet. Det är också några meter från den berömda synvinkel Lissabon "Miradouro das Portas do Sol" och mycket nära "synvinkel Grace."

High on the hill

Great start to our vacay. Good location, as long as you’re fit. Good for us to walk around the area and down into Old Lisboa. The apartment was as pictured and described.

Good location

You need to be in good walking shape as everything is downhill with lots of steps down and up. The place was quiet and the bed was very good with nice linens for good sleeping. Nice neighborhood restaurant for breakfast and lunch.

Very quiet appartment, good air conditionning, photos very well representative of the appartment, very original decoration. Adjacent to the Castelo which is good for public transportation but always climing up by foot.

Review of HOST and different property, property was changed

The host team for this property is top-knotch. There was a problem at the property we originally booked (connected to this review) and they quickly switched us to a different property for two of our 3 nights that was wonderful, and then we got to experience a different neighborhood on the third night that was even better. The accommodations they made for us were great and communication was great through whatsapp. Highly recommend this host.

This was a great apartment in a lovely area. Nice and modern. We did find the checkin process a bit tricky, make sure your wifi or phone are working correctly. Other than that I would definitely recommend this apartment and the area to stay.

Great Lisbon Flat

Great flat in a great location just outside the gates to the castle. Walking distance to most attractions and train station. Lots of hills to go up and down, but area is beautiful. It was a great base to explore the city and a comfortable place to relax at the end of the day. Modern and clean. Shower is amazing.

Great Spot

The location was perfect for rambling around Lisbon. The apartment is Will appointed with everything you need. It truly is a cozy space but the entry code can be a bit tricky. There are a couple of nice restaurants nearby and a wonderful bakery for early morning coffee. The host is quick to reply and very accomodating

Comfortable bed, good AC, shower pressure and temp was great. We were only in the room to sleep and bathe. Good location. Uber driver from airport did not know about the upper road (Rua do Chao Feira) so be mindful that this road is closest to the apartment.

Great location and apartment

We did enjoy our stay, its located right in the heart of the historic section, steps away from great sidewalk cafes, the Sao Jorge Castle, the peacocks, the bus stop, and the Tuk Tuks. Be prepared for steep hills all over Lisbon and bring your good gripping shoes, leave the flip flops at the beach. The check in system works great, if I had any negatives it was the noisy stomper above us that we couldn't control, and the extremely hot water that we learned to use correctly, but I would definitely stay there again. Note that the Uber drivers cannot come directly to the front door, but the Taxi drivers can, but we enjoyed walking to the Uber pickup point 3 minutes away, and enjoyed the whole neighborhood. This is a good apartment to select to stay at.

Flat in good location, but has issues

We enjoyed the location of this flat. It is so close to many sites and good restaurants. The bed was very comfortable and it was nice to have a kitchen. On the other hand we were not told there was a ceiling leak, they probably should have given us the option to cancel. When we arrived there was a humidifier going, we had to empty the reservoir at least once a day. In addition we asked for instructions for the flat and were told it would be sent but we never got it. The flat is also very dark, not a deal breaker but the photos are not accurate in this regard. We could recommend this place if the leak were fixed, my advice would be to check with management that it has been repaired.

No way to get in when we got here

The place was great. We had also reserved a place in Porto Several months in advance. It was canceled on May 30 with no correspondence to let us know. We were stuck with no hotel on Saint John’s holiday. It was a nightmare. Very very disappointed. Will probably never use Vrbo again. Very upset.

Disaster!

No number on the outside door, key, complicated online way to enter, no one available to help us for 3 hours. Front door key wouldn’t work easily. There was another group who arrived equally frustrated!! The excuse the person who finally showed up was she was in a meeting. The cleaning lady had been there behind locked doors many hours before we got help. Again, no street number No outside key that worked easily Complicated app to get in 4 hours of frustration by 2 families We left the next morning for fitting our next day and nights stay!!!!!!

Not what I would have expected

This apartment is in a great location, near Castelo de São Jorge in the Alfama district of Lisboa. It is within walking distance of just about everything in the area. It is a bit of an uphill hike to the property from the public parking garage, but that was to be expected. We knew that non-residents were not permitted to drive into the area. The property manager did send us keyless entry instructions. We had no problem getting into the building or the unit. Overall though, I’m giving this apartment only 2 stars. When we first entered the unit there was an essential oil diffuser in the living room that was a bit overwhelming. The unit appeared to be clean and neat, but there were areas that clearly had water damage, particularly in the bedroom. A portable dehumidifier had been placed in the bedroom to mitigate that. There was a slight sewage smell in the bathroom especially near the toilet and the bathroom sink is a rough cut piece of granite which in my opinion would be next to impossible to clean properly. The shower floor had damaged tiles and is in need of repair. A small filthy comforter was all that available for additional blankets in the bedroom and there was no mattress pad on the mattress.

Great location but property was lacking

Our first impression started out with hesitation after we received our access instructions that would not work. We attempted to reach out to the property manager and received no response. Luckily we walked by the property and the cleaning staff had the window open and were able to allow us access to the unit. First impression of the apartment is, it’s cute. There was a welcoming gift of wine and treats that was very nice. The apartment was well equipped. We immediately realized that the the only windows in the unit are in the living room area and are at the perfect level for everyone passing on a very busy street to look in easily. The lack of windows leaves the unit feeling like a cave. The bathroom/shower area has a strong smell of raw sewage. When we brought this to the attention of the property manager, we again received no response. The location is perfect, 2 minutes to castle St George and a short walk to many restaurants but the lack of communication and smell of the unit, make this one a pass for us.

The location was excellent. Same can be said for the apartment. It was comfortable and clean. The owner was kind but not in sync with check in. She didn't email check in link/code until prompted. This was my experience and that of other guests I met at the property. She was also not in sync with her cleaning staff. The cleaning staff walked into our apartment unannounced, without knocking. Turns out they had the wrong room number. Lastly, owner seemed unaware that out neighbors where selling alcohol out of their window to street passerbys (this was an apartment, not a store). This happened during an important festival in Lisbon, which is culturally understandable, but we had to deal with these loud neighbors all night until the early morning. The owner should've informed us that this would be the case if she knew this was going to happen.

Lovely with lots of small issues

Checkin and electronic access is via an app. Itnis timed and doesn’t accommodate early arrival. There was no binder to explain how to use any of the appliances or tv or to select the correct wifi. Lightbulbs in bathroom werent working wells. Tiles coming up in the shower. Provided keys to street door do not work. Dehumidifier is extremely loud in the bedroom and must emptied every day. Towel drying rack on wall doesnt work. Host took more than a day to respond within the vrbo app- which isnt great when you need immediate assistance. That said- the host did put us in touch via whatts app with a property manager. She was lovely, responsive, and quickly fixed what she could.clearly they need to do better inspections after each stat so that I get to deal with all the broken things.

Bellísimo departamento a metros del Castillo San Jorge

Este departamento es muy bello y cómodo y las fotos publicadas lo representan muy bien. Se encuentra ubicado en el barrio de Alfama, a pasos de la entrada al Castillo San Jorge y muy cerca de la Catedral Se. Su ubicación es inmejorable para visitar la zona pero es necesario tener presente que para llegar a él hay que subir una cuesta muy empinada. Subir la cuesta a pie no es sencillo por lo que siempre se necesita tomar el bus. La comunicación con Patricia es buena pero parece que administra varias propiedades y la información que envía no siempre es para la propiedad alquilada. Un dato muy importante para tener en cuenta es que no hay ningún supermercado, mercado o almacén cerca. Lo que hay cerca son negocios muy pequeños y nada recomendables. Esto es necesario tenerlo presente por si se planea cocinar durante la estancia en Lisboa ya que las compras hay que hacerlas lejos y traerlas en el bus o el tranvía. Un dato adicional con respecto a cocinar: hay horno pero no hay ninguna fuente o asadera con la cual cocinar algo en él. El check in sin contacto es muy cómodo. Tanto la puerta de calle como la del departamento se abren utilizando una aplicación. En resumen podemos decir que el departamento es muy bello y cómodo y requiere de un muy buen par de piernas para llegar a él.

Dans l’ensemble le logement du Rez de chaussée est conforme à la description, la déco est de style industriel et la douche originale . L’appartement est toutefois mal insonorisé, on entend les gens du dessus marcher et la porte d’entrée dans l’immeuble s’entend lorsque les gens entrent et sortent. Je conseillerais les appartements du dessus qui doivent être plus lumineux et moins bruyants.
