A lovely little cottage, very comfortable and beautifully furnished. The kitchen was large, the beds were comfy and the showers were good and hot. We had a great time and enjoyed the proximity to the beach Thanks for a great stay.

Perfect location

It is true, you are right on the beach, but because of the dune there is no view, but that encouraged us every morning to take the three minute walk to sit on the beach. It’s definitely a quiet section of the beach which we really appreciated.The house is the perfect, retro Beach cottage vibe. It was well appointed and clean. We took advantage of the little grill for a cookout one night and the beach chairs were a plus. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioner rocked. We had one small problem with the dishwasher which the property management team jumped all over. Super responsive! It was a great stay. We will definitely be back!

Perfect!

We come to Amelia for Shrimp Fest every year....staying in different VRBOs. This one has been the best so far!! Right when I walked in I could see just how Clean and welcoming the house was. Looking at the house from the outside you wouldn't expect it to be so spacious..but it is!!!! Right across from the beach..and a Sandy road in front that is only one way...so not alot of traffic at all!! A great road to ride bikes on and walk your pup. The porch was our favorite. I don't think we were inside much at all. Great Place to spend your vacay. We will be back. Thank YOu.

Very close to beach

Property description is accurate. It fronts on a sandy access road right behind the primary dune, with the beach access walkway very close. Although you can't see the ocean you can hear it clearly, and the view from the deck is a nice mix of green from the landscaping and then the primary dune with it's vegetation. The landscaping gives a nice bit of privacy when on the deck. Great spot for morning coffee. The beach chairs provided by the property were much appreciated, and the front deck is a nice place to lay out in the sun if it's too chilly for laying out on the beach. Overall the house felt very clean and had a good selection of basics to get you through if you can't get to the store immediately. Great location for biking into downtown and the state park.

Great House and location. Comfortable, beautifully decorated. Shower water is nice and hot! So many things supplied that helped us cut down on packing. Fernandina is an adorable town. Will return!

Great beach getaway!

We really enjoyed our stay here, the kitchen was well equipped, house was clean, location was great. We were two couples and one single and it was a perfect size. Nice porch out front to relax and easy walk across a very quiet "street" (wouldn't even really call it a street) to the beach. There were people there but not crowded at all.

Relaxing Vibe

Nice house across the street from the beach. Open living space and kitchen area to easily accommodate the 6 people we had stay overnight, and 12 people just relaxing and doing their thing.

We enjoyed our week at A Good Knight's Rest! It was wonderful being so close to the beach and such a short drive to Fort Clinch. We would definitely stay here again!

FAMILY TIME - GREAT TIME

The cottage was perfect for our NC family and for some of our local family to come enjoy the beach and spend time with us celebrating the 4th. From the moment we opened the pretty aqua front door to our last day locking it everything was perfect. Love the cottage feel and beachy appointments throughout. The management team was excellent to work with ..... definitely on our list of places to book again!

We had a wonderfully peaceful weekend preparing for my wedding at Pogos Kitchen. Everything was perfect. The atmostphere it was clean, the toiletries, the washer dryer and supplies. It really felt like a home away from home and everyone was so friendly. It was the cherry on top to a special weekend
