This was the perfect house for our extended weekend stay in Lake Placid. First, our host Andrew was very responsive to any questions I had prior to arrival. Also, he notified us that the house was ready way before the check in time. This was a big help after a very long drive! Upon arrival, we found the house to be impeccably clean and very well stocked including fresh orange juice, eggs, bagels and cream cheese in the refrigerator! The beds were very comfortable and the living space was perfect for a family of 5 adults. The location of the house is so convenient and walking distance to Mirror Lake and all the village has to offer. So happy we stayed here!

We had a lovely stay at Andrew’s home! The home was clean, cozy and perfect for our weekend! We walked everywhere we went in town, it was super convenient. I would definitely stay at Andrew’s home again!

Heaven at Lake Placid

We have stayed in various VRBO’s with our dogs. This house was one of the best supplied. I always bring extra TP, paper towels, foil etc. Andrew has everything! We were there celebrating my 70th birthday and he made it even better. The house is immaculate and very well located. It was such a wonderful weekend.

Beautiful home to enjoy Beautiful Lake Placid area

We do VRBO rentals frequently, and we found this house to be exceptionally wonderful! Easiest check in/check out we've ever experienced. The house had absolutely everything we needed (very well equipped). The house was charming and comfortable, and it was a short walk to the center of town. We even used the outside patio to enjoy a glass of wine after a day of hiking. We visited Mirror Lake, Lake Placid, the Olympic facilities/museum (relived the "Miracle on Ice"), and Whiteface Mountain. All worth it. Our last morning there, we went to the Olympic Ski Jump area and saw future Olympians practicing for the Olympic trials. Incredible!

Wonderful Stay

Andrew's attention to detail made our stay a wonderful experience. He goes above and beyond in making guests feel welcome as the home was equipped with anything we could have needed. He went above and beyond in leaving us coffee, bagels, eggs and juice. The home is organized and immaculate. The proximity to main street was convenient. We would absolutely stay here again. All you need in one place!

This is an awesome place and an even better host. The property has everything from a location that you can walk to anywhere in Lake Placid to being fully stocked with everything you need. Just bring you, your family, and food / beverages. Modern conveniences like Roku TV’s in every room including the kitchen and usb chargers throughout the house. Plus and backyard deck complete with a fire pit! We loved it here and will definitely be back. The host was amazing and quick to respond to any of our questions.

4 Night Stay

Had a great time in Lake Placid. The house had everything you could possibly need and was in a friendly neighborhood only a few minute walk to the Main Street and other attractions. Perfect place for our family and dog to stay. Thanks for a great visit!

Perfectly Accommodating.

Andrew's house was perfectly located in town, fully stocked with every possible toiletry and amenity- including food, and very cozy and comfortable. I dont have anything negative to say about our stay- it was perfect.

Great location, great host

Andrew is at the top of the list when it comes to hosts. Everything was as described, and we had a great stay in Lake Placid among four old college friends. I would not hesitate to recommend Andrew's house as a wonderful place to stay just minutes away from the Olympic Ice Arena and the downtown scene in Lake Placid.

Wonderful Lake Placid village home!!

Seize the opportunity to stay at this Lake Placid home. You will not be disappointed. THE BEST VRBO we have ever rented as far as cleanliness, having every single thing stocked that you could possibly need, very comfortable furnishings, super comfortable mattresses( a big deal when staying in a rental ) and thoughtful touches. Host Provided bagels, eggs and OJ!! Never in all the rentals we have stayed at has a host gone out of their way to leave breakfast. We were even able to have a little fire on the patio area in February! The kindling and wood were nice and dry and cut to just the right size. Location of the house to the Olympic Center was perfect for our son’s hockey tournament. We were able to walk there in 10 minutes. We skated on Mirror Lake, walked the village, skated the Oval , had dinner at Lisa G’s - delicious!! Perfect house for a Lake Placid winter get away!

Lake Placid Winter Weekend

Such a great home to stay in while visiting Lake Placid - clean, comfortable and well appointed - yet the best part for us is that you can walk all around the village of Lake Placid easily from the house (skating rink, restaurants, etc.). Andrew was great to deal with as well - Have stayed twice and will probably stay again!

Perfect three-bedroom gem

We were extremely pleased with our stay. The house is lovely. Our host, Andy, was terrific. He supplied us with so many items that many might forget when packing. He also left us food and beverages in the refrigerator for breakfast. On our first night he even came when we called to address a television issue. We were unsure how to do something. We will definitely return in the future.

Everything you need (or forgot)

This house was super cute and comfy. The host was really responsive and friendly, plus he left us some breakfast goodies in the fridge which was very appreciated. I am not a great packer and I always forget numerous little things
this house was so incredibly stocked with anything you could have possibly forgotten. Worth the return trip just for that! Great location.
