BOKNING
50% av hyran betalas inom 7 dagar efter bokningsdatumet. Om depositionen inte mottas inom sju dagar från bokningsdatumet kommer bokningen att avbokas utan föregående meddelande. Återstoden av restbeloppet betalas inom 14 dagar efter ankomst. Underlåtenhet att göra den slutliga betalningen kommer att resultera i att din bokning avbryts och eventuella pengar som vi fått kommer inte att återbetalas.

Nice Vacation home

Super great cabin!

We loved the cabin. Perfect for our Immediate families to spread out and all still have space! Comfortable couches and beds and wonderful outdoor seating! Enough beach views to enjoy seeing the beach and hearing the ocean.

Wonderful place to stay!!!

Crystal beach is a great place to vacation. The location we stayed was a plus. The beach house was located in a quiet neighborhood with not much traffic at all. The house was a dream. Nicely decorated with a touch of the beach. All appliances worked, cold air conditioning, enough hot water for 9 baths and plenty of kitchen supplies. We had a great time and would definitely return.

Several Concerns

I’m sure this used to be a beautiful house. It just appears to be neglected. 1. Upon entering the house, a musty odor is obvious. 2. All of the dehumidifiers were full. 3. The upstairs middle bedroom had moisture running down the wall in the closet. We ended up not using that bedroom. 4. We began realizing that the house had not been cleaned prior to our arrival. The beds were made hopefully with clean sheets. The floors were so dirty that our feet were getting dirty. There was a thick layer of dust on the bookshelves, cabinets, fans. We just decided to do spot cleaning as we went along through the week. Many things need repairs including deck furniture, the deck umbrella, several lamps were not usable. It was very disappointing to have paid what we did and have the house be in such disrepair. Unfortunately, we will not be returning to this house for another vacation.

HUGE Waste of Time and Money!

It all sounded great until we got there! Their was a septic leak (all down the side of the driveway and puddling at the entrance) that smelled like sewerage, which the neighbors confirmed that they’ve known of this problem for a long time and haven’t repaired it. The property owner tried to blame us because we had visitors (which they approved of, and had their own hotels nearby) which may have caused the sensor to go off. Seems as if it all went downhill from there as they contacted me about my visitors (again, that I got permission for) and threatened to evict my family and me if I didn’t “make them leave now” (husband called and wife started yelling in the background ) AND they told us they had relatives that lived close that were evidently watching us the whole time (very uncomfortable). Several neighbors complained about this property and owners which took time away from our family vacation. It was creepy and extremely disappointing. I have been renting homes, condos, lake houses, and B&Bs for over 20 years and this was by far our worst experience. We have never been asked to limit our water usage ANYWHERE! Home: exterior needs lots of work which isn’t visible on the pics and the interior wasn’t cleaned properly, however; we managed to sleep comfortably. PROS: The kitchen was well equipped and the beach was clean, and lots of fun.

Great house for a large group, short walk or gold cart ride to beach

The house worked out great for our group of nine. The bedrooms are laid out in such a way that all three of the rooms upstairs have access to the upper balcony that looks out towards the ocean. We couldn’t find extra blankets, but we had brought a few of our own and the weather was surprisingly warm for the new year. There are three full bathrooms in the house and an outdoor shower downstairs. There were a few rolls of toilet paper in each bathroom and hand soap when we arrived which was a pleasant surprise (we came prepared just in case). The kitchen was well stocked. We cooked all but a few of our meals for the week in the kitchen. It is a little tight if everyone is making their own, but plenty of cups, plates, bowls, and silverware. There were a ton of Tupperware in the pantry and some plastic bowls for prep beneath the sink. The pans were in good shape as well. It seemed apparent they had recently restocked and made sure things were ready for a large crowd. The only con for us was it sits a little far back to see the fireworks off the beach. You can hear the waves sitting on either of the decks - a must for us. I also recommend emptying the dehumidifiers as soon as you arrive and then monitoring them throughout your stay. So glad they had them! The only time we reached out to the owners we heard back quickly and there were no issues that required anyone to come to the house. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Some concerns

The house was nice and we had a pleasant. However, on the second day of our trip, the owner called and asked us to use as little water as possible, requesting us to take showers outside if possible, not using the dishwasher, and doing as little laundry as possible. If we failed to do these things we'd be asked to leave. One child in our party has autism and before this trip had never been able to take showers due to the sensory overload they cause. Luckily, with the help of his friends and a couple days of sponge baths, he was able to conquer his fear and use the shower outside. We had been asked to not use the garbage disposal a few days prior to our arrival, which was fine, but we were in no way forewarned about the actual complexity of sewage issues evolving with the house. Had we been notified, we could have brought more disposable supplies, extra towels and clothes, etc to be prepared. Instead, we only brought what we needed, given we paid for the amenities the house had to offer and did not expect to be asked not to use them. At this point, we had no choice but to comply, since our entire extended family had already used vacation time from work, spent time and money arranging obligations at home, made the travel down to the house, booked a golf cart for the week, and had booked a fishing trip. The stress of this added burden was completely inexcusable given the owner knew there was an existing problem and withheld the information from us until after our arrival and "settling in." We spoke with the neighbors who said the house was stinking so badly weeks prior to our arrival, that they called officials about the house's sewage/septic system. The neighbors were concerned for the health safety of those staying in this house. The bathrooms did omit a sewage smell intermittently. The owner had multiple people come out during our stay and work on the septic system. The house was beautiful, but we feel the owner needs to be more respectful of his tenants' time, money, and choice to rent a home for full price without the freedom to access the advertised amenities, especially if evacuation is being threatened and the health and well-being of tenants are involved.

Beautiful property and great location

Beach home is very nice & clean! The location was close to stores and restaurants. The neighborhood was well maintained. Short walk to the beach. The beach home had plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen was fully stocked. I love the floor plan. Beings we just went, it gets cool at night. They had the biggest and softest throws for the sofa's. Plenty of seating. We will be back!

Great location but needs updating

The house was in a quiet neighborhood and close to the beach. The listing said the house had been renovated? This was not obvious to us. The ceiling in the living room has a line of tape and bedding coming off, ceiling fans are covered in layers of dust that fly through the air when turned on, two ceiling fans in bedrooms don't provide enough air since they don't have a high speed. Two of the bedrooms are missing smoke detectors. The furniture and beds are worn out and need updating. The pots and pans are also worn out. We were glad we brought our own. The house says it sleeps 16, but there were only 8 forks and numerous spoons and knives. Upon arrival the top two bunk beds were not made up so we had to make them ourselves. Hard to do this when you are over 60. No where in the description did it say this house was about 100 yards from a slough (marsh) which generated a mosquito problem day and night. We could not enjoy the balconies, swing, or kids playing in the yard. (grass was also very high and had not been cut). We discovered the first night that we all should have packed sleep masks as the neighbor's outside lights shine in all the windows so it is like daylight while trying to sleep. Directv was available downstairs only, but not upstairs. We could only get Netflix upstairs. So overall we had a good time, but expected better from the property listing. These comments are intended as constructive feedback so owner can improve these things to make the property more enjoyable. We had a great time in spite of these flaws.

Location was great!

Location and neighborhood was easy to get in and out of. It was a short walk to the beach and the view from the patio was awesome. I would definitely recommend for large groups. We had a great time!

Wonderful Beach Vacation

The location was close to the beach, the house was clean and plenty of beds for our group. The property manager was very prompt in replies. The kitchen was well stocked. It was a wonderful trip with friends. The listing or contract says that they don’t provide towels. I am glad I saw it a couple days before heading out there. Make sure you take your own bath towels, wash cloths & even bathmats. I would definitely go with this listing again.

A great place for a family getaway!

We really enjoyed this home. Everything was bright and clean and met all our needs for a quick family get away. The Disney touches were appreciated! The weather didn't fully cooperate but the 2 youngest played in the surf anyway.

Great Beach House for Families !!!

Great house very clean. Excellent beach and you can enjoy your coffee with great beach views !! We had great communication from the host and thoroughly enjoyed our time at this beach house. It comfortably accommodated our family (12 in total) and the two decks with ocean views were wonderful for enjoying your coffee. We would love to stay in their beach house again on our next trip to Crystal Beach, highly recommend this property!

Wonderful location, beautiful spacious beach house

The location of this property is perfect. There is no public beach access from this neighborhood so it’s nice and quiet, and it’s so close to the store and restaurants. A very short walk to the beach, and even quicker golf cart ride. The balconies give a beautiful view of the ocean, nothing like sitting outside listening to the waves! Our large family fit comfortably in the beautifully decorated house, and it was very well appointed. My nephew left his iPad and Woodrow promptly reached out to notify us, and had it shipped back to us. We can’t wait to stay in their beach house again on our next trip to Crystal Beach, highly recommend this property!

Great Host, Beautiful Beach House

We had great communication from the host and thoroughly enjoyed our time at this beach house. It comfortably accommodated our large family (14 in total) and the two decks with ocean views were wonderful for winding down the day.

Our dream was to own a beach home to share with our family and friends for years to come. That dream came true when we bought this home in 2016. We put in the sweat equity to make it a home away from home not only for us but for our guests who rent it.

Our home is very spacious and located in an area if you are looking for a nice quiet place to spend with the family, unlike other areas that can be congested. We are also one of the few neighborhoods with large lots and no homes are sitting on top of each other. We also do not have direct access to the beach by car which cuts down on the amount of car traffic.
