Great location in clean older building

We were 4 adults and 2 younger children. We found the apartment and met with one of the owner/ managers on site. He was very nice and informative. We were concerned about the condition of the building as it is quite old and in the process of some renovations. You will have to walk up one level of stairs , however there is an elevator for luggage if you need it. we found the apartment to be both clean and very spacious. It is not a luxury apartment but is perfect for a short stay in Rome. We were within walking distance of the Coloseum and Forum ( 10 minute walk) in a very safe neighborhood. There are bakeries, markets and restaurants nearby. We were about a 12 minute walk from the metro which was easy to use. We were a 10 minute walk from the church "St. Peter's in chains" where there in a Moses statue created by Michaelangelo. The metro to the Vatican was very convenient . It was quiet at night and the beds very comfortable. The apartment exceeded our expectations and we would stay there again if in Rome. It is great value for the price.

A great base for exploring Rome

This unit worked well for our family group of six. It was well located and clean with good Airconditioning. The kitchen was adequate for preparing simple meals, with good grocery stores nearby.

Great location

The Monti apartment met all of our needs for a family of 7 (grandparents, parents and 3 children (10-16). The fact that it is just minutes walk from the Colosseum was perfect.

Great Location!

We only had two days in Rome and this place was wonderful. Close to everything! Anna was great and even arranged a vehicle for us to take from airport. We would highly recommend when staying in Rome!

Great Apartment for a big family

Apartment was everything I expected based on the pictures and other reviews I read. Great location and size was perfect for family of 8. No elevator so you have to go up 1-2 flights of stairs, not bad, we didn’t mind it, but if you’re really elderly or have trouble climbing stairs, just be aware. Host was great and got back to me quickly when messaging her.

Fantastic apartment in fantastic location!

Located close to the Colosseum, this apartment is on the second floor of a beautiful classic authentic building. As a three generation family group of seven we really appreciated the space, three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The only negative is that the furnishings do not match the splendor of the property as the bed linens, pillows and mattresses are sub-standard. An upgrade would result in a full FIVE star rating...Thanks!

Great Place!

We were in Rome for a short 2 nights and this property met all our needs. Very convenient to train station (15 min walk) and the coliseum. Plenty of places to eat near by as well. The apartment is a bit on the older side of things, but everything was clean and in working order. My kids loved it. No negatives!

Beautiful Large Apartment Close To Everything!

We arrived at the apartment before a normal check-in time and the owners were extremely accommodating. We were able to leave our luggage there to go get some breakfast as they cleaned from previous tenants. The nephew provided us with a map and highlighted the nearby attractions which was totally helpful. We were definitely in the center of Rome. There was no need for a car. Everything was walking distance. The apartment was much bigger than I anticipated. It was almost like 2 separate apartments with 2 kitchens. This was perfect for our family that included me and my husband, mother-in-law and two teenage boys. The apartment was very secure so we felt very safe. The apartment was extremely clean and linens were provided. It was an excessively hot time to be in Rome, but the apartment did have AC and that made it even more comfortable. We did the the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel and St Peter’s Basilica tour one day and the Colosseum the next. After a long day outside, it was definitely nice to come back to the apartment. This listing is completely accurate, and the owners were very nice and helpful. This was our first time in Europe and also our first time using Homeaway.com. The owners made this booking stress free!! I would definitely recommend this to all of my friends and family.

BREVE SOGGIORNO A ROMA

Appartamento di ampia metratura (noi eravamo in nove) posto a pochi passi dal Colosseo - comodo da raggiungere anche a piedi dalla Stazione Termini e vicino sia alla metro A che alla fermata dell'autobus. Ambiente pulito e molto silenzioso, soprattutto la notte grazie alla sua posizione su una strada di non elevata percorrenza. Proprietaria gentile che si è resa disponibile a fornirci tutte le indicazioni necessarie e qualche consiglio per il nostro soggiorno.

Simply Amazing

This apartment is brilliant. Close to the coleseum and many amenities (grocers, restaurants and subway). Very spacious for our group of 5. The AC was welcomed. Our hosts were outstanding. Very prompt with communications and also quite accommodating. They also arranged our airport transfer at a very reasonable price. Perfect place to explore Rome.

Short distance to Colosseum by walking. Clean and spacious apartment. Paola was very helpful, especially in letting us drop our suitcases off quite early before our checkin time. It was so helpful for our family!

Gorgeous apartment with great access

This is a lovely apartment! With three teenagers along, the bedrooms and second bathroom were perfect for our group. The apartment is located right around the corner from the grocery store and a small market so it was also easy to get the items we needed for breakfast and snacks. The Metro was less than 10 minutes’ walk away which made seeing all of the sites simple.

Dream Vacation

I absolutely enjoyed staying in this location. Out of the noise but close enough to walk to most areas. The apartment is beautiful, the rooms are very spacious. The pictures represent what you are booking. The communication with the owners was incredible and they were very helpful with all aspects of our stay. The check in was fast and easy! I would certainly book again.
