Great Rental for Boaters

My husband and I love to spend long weekends in the Finger Lakes when we can. We invite friends and family up for the day/night and spend as much time on the water with our boat as we can bear. Water front access to the lakes is a must. Boat house, boat slip and dock are what primarily attracted us to this property. We were able to launch at the Town of Scott park just down the road and park our boat trailer over the weekend at a local yard not far from the launch. Was able to tie off boat in slip and make so there was no contact with dock from wakes. Road between house and dock is somewhat narrow to park a truck and boat trailer along. Room for 2 or 3 cars/trucks. House was clean and furnished with most of what you would need for a long weekend. Kitchen could use some updating. Large table somewhat hard to get around. Bathroom recently updated, nice sink and walk in shower. Third bedroom off kitchen good for kids, not so much for adults. Beautiful view from the house of the lake. Communication with owner was good.

Beautiful lake and home

House and property was perfect. Clean comfortable home with decks and boathouse that made our stay enjoyable. Nice stocked home . Communicating with Eric was a pleasure. Would most definitely return. Loved everything about our stay.

Best week of our summer!

What a little gem on the south end of the lake. You won’t be disappointed in booking this property. From a fully stocked kitchen, to the tasteful and thoughtful decorating throughout and the comfortable bed and bed linens, there is nothing here that will disappoint! The view, the lake and the quiet peaceful setting made for a wonderful and relaxing week long stay for my entire family. My son fished his heart out, we all swam and loved sitting around the fires at night. Lastly, Eric was incredible to communicate with and making sure we had everything we needed. Thanks again for a memorable week, we hope to make it back again soon!

Perfect spot!

We rented this cottage for 3 friends because our lake place is so small. This has level lakefront, good parking, huge deck, cute cottage on gorgeous Skaneateles Lake. Who could ask for more? Would definitely rent this place again.

Family vacation

This was my family’s third summer staying here and we had a wonderful time, as always. The house is amazing - there are lake views from the entire front side and the sun just pours in. The bathroom and kitchen are clean and well stocked, and the house is decorated and furnished in such an inviting way. We had a blast jumping off the dock into the clear water and using the kayaks and paddle boards that are provided

Great Stay at Skaneateles Lake

We spent a wonderful 6 weeks at Eric's cottage on the lake. We found so much to do in the area, the time flew by. The cottage was very comfortable for two of us and our little dog. The boat house and dock became our favorite place. We swam and kayaked. The cottage was clean and well stocked with supplies and kitchen equipment. The window A/C kept it comfortable during the few days when it got to the 80s. The evenings cooled off nicely and there always seemed to be a breeze. It's a friendly neighborhood and people gave us advice on touristy things to do. We hope to return - maybe to catch the fall colors!

A week in June



The property was exactly as described. The house was very clean and comfortable and the shoreline and boathouse were great places to relax, swim and kayak. And the patio off the front of the house provided an amazing view of this incredibly clean/clear lake.

One of the best VRBO properties we have experienced. Owner very responsive and helpful. The home was well furnished and supplied. Already booked for next year. The lake is sooĂČoo crystal clear and the eagle fishing was an extra bonus.

A wonderful gem!

This is a perfect spot to spend time with family and friends on beautiful Skaneateles lake. You will need to bring very little and you will wake up every morning to a beautiful view of one of the prettiest lakes. The lakefront is stocked with everything you need to enjoy the lake. The deck is great for cooking and eating outside. The hosts are available for any questions and checked in to make sure all was well while we were there. Lovely trip!

Perfect Once Again

3rd year staying here. No need to bring anything beyond clothes and food. This house has everything for the house and waterfront Area is quiet. Waterfront is large enough for boats and swimming. House is clean and well maintained. My family loves their week in this location every year and look forward to many years in the future

A Perfect 10

EVERYTHING was perfect!!!The owners provided everything---from linens, all appliances, an abundance of food staples, cookware., kayaks and even wood for the firepit!. An added benefit was that they allowed dogs and the set-up with the fenced in areas provided our dog with freedom & safety, The furnishings were clean & comfortable but the view and access to the lake completed a wonderful vacation.

We had a Wonderful Time

The property was as advertised. Very comfortable with all the basic plates, silverware, bowels, pots, pans , spices, oils, etc. The view from the deck is breathtaking. The boathouse and slip made docking our boat a breeze. We definitely would like to return in the future.
