Log Cabin i hjärtat av Adirondacks som har allt

Serene 4 säsong logi. Beläget mellan Ausable River och Jay Mountain, 5 miles från Whiteface Mtn, High Peaks och 20 minuter från Lake Placid. Kabinen sitter på 7 hektar av Adirondack parken och Upper Jay Mountain. Privat spår uppför berget ger dig en fantastisk utsikt över en damm. Lugn och natur skönhet runt omkring dig.
White Moose Cabin har ett fullt utrustat kök och en informell matplats. Stor sten spis i vardagsrummet, TV, trådlöst internet finns tillgängligt i hela stugan och omgivningen. Den första våningen består av ett badrum med dusch och badkar samt två sovrum, inklusive queen size-sängar. Den andra våningen har två sovrum, queen size-sängar, halv badrum, öppen spis och fantastisk utsikt över bergen och himlen. Totalt 9 personer kan sova i stugan.
Skärm veranda ger stor avkoppling medan du njuter av bergsutsikten, lyssna på viskningen av trädens löv och fåglarnas sånger. Grill i bakgården, och stolarna runt eldstaden är perfekta plats för att njuta av den klara Adirondackskyen.
Kabinen är husdjursvänlig; ingen rökning.
The White Moose har också ett spelrum utrustat med dart, pingisbord, air hokey bord, fotboll och många hjärnspel.
Skidbackar i världsklass vid Whiteface Mountain ligger bara fem miles bort. Den olympiska byn Lake Placid är ungefär tjugo minuters resa. High Peaks vandringsleder är mindre än en halv timme från stugan. White Moose stugan ligger på AuSable River - perfekt läge för öringfiske. Flygfiskeaffär inom 10 minuters bilresa; Lokal gård med hemgjord yoghurt, biffar, ägg och mjölk hjälper till att få full Adirondack-upplevelse.
Ironman konkurrenter och fans kommer att älska platsen, eftersom stugan ligger precis vid Ironman-cykelbanan.

Great Stay!

Great proprety, well equipped, game room was a success with the kids. Gas fireplace to relax after a day of skiing. BBQ was also useful to make diner. Close to Whiteface mountain. Host were quick to respond to inquiries. Will definitely book again!

A great place to spend a weekend!

A warm and inviting home right near the High Peaks in the Adirondacks. It's a great place to spend a weekend, with plenty of room for friends or family. Watch the stars as you sit around the fire pit!

Great place for ski/family weekend

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. It was a great location, within close proximity to Whiteface Mtn and the village of Lake Placid. The kids really enjoyed hiking in the woods, walking down by the river, and investigating the beaver dam. We were able to make a fire and enjoy the beautiful Adirondack scenery. Quiet area, close to Whiteface

Easy to find off 9N, flat driveway, cleared of snow. we enjoyed playing ping pong and board game and watching TV one night. Bathroom is spacious with nice stall shower. Towels on beds decorated in shape of a bear...cute touch. Large dining table, and good amount of plates, flatware, glasses

Relaxing 2024 New Years Weekend

Our family of 5, plus 1 Goldendoodle enjoyed both the relaxing ambiance of the cabin and it's location in the beautiful High Peaks area of the Adirondack Mountains. We all enjoyed several of the nearby dining establishments and ringing in the New Year at New Vida Preserve. Whiteface skiing and awesome winter hiking are close by to enjoy as well as Lake Placid and Saranac Lake. Matt was a great host and we all hope to make a return visit.

Cozy place to rest your feet

We spent a lot of our trip out on the trails, but it sure was great to come back to a cozy home to warm up and relax. There was plenty of room for my husband and I, our two kids, dogs, and the extended family who stayed with us. Plenty of space to be together and space to be apart when you wanted privacy. Hopeful that we can return to the same spot next year!

Spacious and Charming House

We enjoyed our Thanksgiving stay at the house. We traveled with another family and really enjoyed the game room and the property, which our boys loved exploring. The house was plenty big for all of us, and very clean. The owners were very easy to reach whenever we had a question. We also enjoyed the proximity to Whiteface and great hiking trails. Would definitely recommend!

Great location, charming house

The location was absolutely perfect. Only 15 minutes from Lake Placid. The owner called to check in with us upon our arrival to ensure everything was ok. That was appreciated. The game room could stand to be updated and was not cleaned but the overall condition of everything else was good. A great place to stay for a long weekend.

Family weekend

The house exceeded our expectations. The game room was a wonderful addition all the children spent most of their time when we were in the house in the game room. Matt was wonderful and communicated with us when we had any questions. We are looking forward to booking this again next year

Nice cabin with game room for kids

The cabin was clean and updated, super shady/low light. My kids (age 7 and 4) loved the game room which was great since it rained a lot. Matt the owner stopped by for a chat (super nice guy) and his son lives above the garage. I’d recommend this place in the winter for skiing Whiteface. Thanks!

Great rental

We had a great stay! The house was nice and exactly what we expected. It was a little off the grid but very quiet and safe. There is no cell service unless you are on wifi which is provided free at the house. The drive to whiteface mountain ski resort was easy and quick. The host called me the first night we were there to check in and make sure we had everything we needed. I thought that was super nice! The house has everything you would need for your stay! I loved the screened in porch and the fire pit out back. They even had dog bowls just in case you forget them! If we ever go back to lake placid I would definitely rent this home again!

Relaxing Vacation

We stayed at the property with our preteen, teenager, elderly parents and dogs. Very relaxing time for all. There was really nothing we had to pack because everything was provided. The owner was very helpful with any questions that we had in preparation for the trip. The first floor bedroom was very handy for my father. We especially enjoyed the fire pit and the beautiful property. We enjoyed the short drive to the lake placid attractions and my husband enjoyed the fly fishing. Matt was very good at communicating with us. Whenever I contacted them during the trip. His son next door was also very kind and helpful.

Great Location

This is a tired looking property in need of a few updates. It says pots and pans, but no large pots, one pan. Plenty of cobwebs in all corners, many of the windows were missing screens, or had holes. Not enough washcloths to go around for 8 people to use without sharing, only 2 kitchen towels for a weeks use, one of the a/c units leaked daily, the host was texted and never responded. On the other hand; the fire--pit and location was excellent.

Adirondack Perfection In This Hidden Gem!

Upon arriving at the home, we realized the pictures did this gem no justice! The long, country driveway led us to this charming home that was even cuter than the photos! Even though we had a long trip and were anxious to unpack and see the inside, we had to stop and stare at the wide open, magnificently beautiful the property offered. The photos did these views no justice! We were in awe at the natural beauty that surrounded this home! Upon arriving inside the home, it was much roomier and open than the pictures show, and, it was very cozy and cute. The screened in back porch was the PERFECT place for family fun with games & laughter, a peaceful spot for coffee in the morning with the dogs at our feet, or a tranquil and serene spot for a glass of wine and a great book at night. The screened in porch offered yet again another spectacular view, and each day it was the first place everyone gathered, and, ended our night. It was truly our favorite part of the house! The game room was also filled with so much laughter and fun. The air hockey and ping pong tables were perfect for both the adult competitive team, and, for occupying my 10 year old niece while I prepared dinner or picked up, etc. Daniela does an excellent job on maintaining the property & making her guests truly feel like this was a home away from home. I cannot rave enough about the customer service we received from Daniela. Upon our arrival, she left a very thoughtful care package that instantly made us smile as it contained not only a welcome bottle of wine & goodies for us, but, because it also contained a bag of treats for our four legged children :) As the ADKs are typically cool at night, we didn't think there would be any issue with the home not having AC. However, it ended up being sweltering and humid when we arrived and the moment I asked Daniela if she had a method to fix this, she had two brand new portable ACs purchased and delivered to the doorstep! We were SO grateful and equally shocked! If that is not class A customer service, I don't know what is! Daniela was such a pleasantly wonderful owner to rent from, and, we would rent from her 1000x again! We would 100% recommend this property for any type of vacationer.. couple, family, etc. You can truly enjoy this serenity and relaxation at any age and with any number of people. The house was roomy, yet cozy, and we felt so comfortable there. We will be back for many years!

Upper Jay chalet

The chalet was exactly what my family needed. Matt was very accommodating regarding our guest count. The walking trails and access to the river were amazing. The house was very cozy, spacious and plenty of room. The screened in porch was perfect. Thank you Matt!

Eclipse viewing

The property was a perfect place to experience the solar eclipse totality! The common area and kitchen provided space for my family to relax, stay connected by WiFi, cook and eat comfortably. Lots of light and the Adirondack decor throughout the house matched the feel of the outdoor space! We enjoyed the porch, fire pit (wood available) with chairs, the trail to the beaver pond and just the feeling of privacy. Our time here was “easy”. The owner has thought through how to make a visit to his place special in a rustic fashion!

Ski trip with family and friends

Perfect place for a ski trip with family and friends. The game room was great for the kids and the property was very close to Whiteface we’re we skied. The grilling area outside was sheltered and covered so grilling during a snowstorm was no problem! The driveway was also plowed several times, making it stress free to get to the slopes on a powder day. Great trip. Big enough for two families of 4 to spend a week together comfortably!
