If you are going for the same reason as myself you will love it. Clean, has what you need. Close to plenty of hiking. Ausable River across the street is a great hangout. The number of walkers, joggers, and bike riders on street will be more than the cars on street. Go and ENJOY!

Second time staying here, and it was just as we remembered. Nothing better than being centrally located to so many trails, and being able to bring our dogs makes it all worth it. The beds are comfortable, and the house is well stocked.

Great stay at this cottage. Perfect location on the river just a few minutes to Keene. Incredibly quiet. They've done a great making an older cabin comfortable and cozy.

beautiful cozy cabin with everything you need stayed here several times before and have never been let downnew renovated bathroom and an added bathroom make the stay perfect

The red cabin is a wonderful home away from home! It is so warm and inviting. Sitting on the screened in porch listening to nature is calming. The view of the river and trees is breathtaking. The road is quiet and makes it easy to take a scenic walk as well. I definitely will be booking again as we continue to visit family in the Adirondacks! Thank you for an awesome stay!!

A True Adirondack ExperienceOur stay at the cabin on Hulls Falls Road in Keene, NY was absolutely wonderful. This authentic 1940s Adirondack cabin has the history, warmth, and character you hope to find when escaping to the mountains.The location is beautiful and peaceful, with the river nearby and easy access to Keene Valley, Lake Placid, and the High Peaks. We especially enjoyed the fireplace, outdoor fire pit, wooded surroundings, and being able to bring our dog along.What really stood out was the thought and care our Hosts has put into making guests feel at home. The cabin includes an exceptionally detailed guest guide covering everything from the fireplace and amenities to local restaurants, stores, medical facilities, and helpful information about the surrounding area. Even the fresh water from the cabin’s 140-foot well was excellent.This isn’t simply a place to sleep—it becomes part of your Adirondack experience. There is something special about enjoying morning coffee surrounded by nature, relaxing by the fire, hearing the river, and returning to the peaceful cabin after exploring the mountains.To our Hosts, thank you for sharing this special place with us. We arrived looking forward to an Adirondack getaway and left with wonderful memories. Five stars without hesitation—we already booked for next year and can’t wait.

Great location and cabin

Stayed here while skiing at Whiteface, host was very responsive and cabin had everything I needed. Would definitely stay here again!!

Great small cabin across the road from the beautiful Ausable river. Very comfortable beds, great fireplace, nice bathroom. Everything you need in a cozy cabin in the woods. Only 5 min drive from Keene Valley and close to the High Peaks hiking. Would go again.

Great Stay

This was a great place to stay during our ski trip. It was clean had plenty of privacy and was close to Whiteface. Will stay again in the future.
