Waterfront retrÀtt, vÀlkomnar dig till paradiset. Vid Susquehanna-floden Àr Lake Aldred en Ätta mil lÄng sjöform mellan tvÄ dammar i södra Lancaster County. Kom och koppla av och titta pÄ örnarna (hem till 8 örnar bo) du kommer att ha dagliga observationer. Den perfekta platsen att njuta av med dina favoritaktiviteter; bÄtliv, fiske, vandring, outlet shopping, Amish land. I slutet av dagen spektakulÀra solnedgÄngar över sjön pÄ din egen privata dÀck. Grilla pÄ gasgrillen eller det fullt utrustade köket. Eller tillbringa veckan med att sitta vid sjön dÀr vi har hÀstsko eller slÄ ett par golfbollar i hÄlet.
Dockage tillgÀngligt för din bÄt utifrÄn, offentliga rampen Àr 1/4 mil uppför Pequea Creek. Gott om parkering för slÀpvagnen i översvÀmningsomrÄdet pÄ plats.

Conestoga-leden gÄr genom Pequea och gÄr med i Mason Dixon-trail-systemet. Kanotpaddling och kajakpaddling Àr fantastiska eftersom bÄde Pequea Creek och Conestoga-floden slutar i detta avsnitt av floden Susquehanna. Perfekt omrÄde för vattenskidor eller fiske. Pequea-bÄtrampen inkluderar ocksÄ ett handikappat fiskeomrÄde, 1/4 mil uppför floden.

We loved the views, the eagles and the house was awesome!Brian was very helpful, and responded right away to a couple of questions we had, would book there again.
We had the pleasure of hearing these 2 eagles singing each morning in the tree above the house, it was awesome.

Beautiful River views

Great place to get away for a quiet stay. Beautiful views of the water and especially at sunset. Lancaster is accessible for fun outings or activities.

Great accommodations. Great view of the river. The train that someone mentioned in a previous review? Not even remotely a bother - kinda of cool! Home away from home, stayed here about 21 days. Will stay here again for sure.

Peaceful getaway

Stayed here for a few days as an escape before we went on to visit relatives in Johnstown. Such a beautiful place, the view of the lake was peaceful and sitting outside at night was calming. Very clean and comfortable place and would highly recommend recommend

Tranquil respite by the lake!

The property was just as described and the property manager responded to our questions very quickly. It was located in a great location for our day trips to Gettysburg, Lancaster and Hershey I highly recommend this lovely home!

Lake House

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy home by the lake. The setting was peaceful and serene—perfect for a relaxing getaway. The house was well-equipped, and had a charming feel that made it feel like a true escape from the everyday. . I loved waking up to the view of the lake in the morning. The entire home was so neat and clean. Check in/check out was super easy. Everything was as described and even better in person. We can’t wait to stay again!

Clean property, nice owners, enjoyed our stay. Went antiquing, to Gettysburg, to Hershey and the National Civil War museum (in Hershey). Good location for driving to other places for things to see and do.

You won't want to leave

This was a great place to stay overlooking the Susquehanna! Brian and his mom were wonderful to work with, and I so appreciated them sharing some of their knowledge of Pequea with me. I loved watching the eagles in the trees right next to the house and the ever-changing clouds and light on the river! My favorite hiking trail is up the street. I enjoyed the trains going by, too. It was all together a relaxing and enjoyable weekend and I hope to go back soon!

Tranquility in a pandemic

Lake House Extraordinaire

Beautiful lake house and so happy we got to stay there. My family and I stayed in many rental homes around the country and this place is definitely in the top of the list. Fantastic job with all the furnishings and amenities. We absolutely plan to rent again next summer along with our close friends.

Perfect Family Getaway

Amazing views!! Perfect break for fishing and tubing. The weather was beautiful, we had a few storms that rolled in that added to the beauty of where we were. The train never bothered us and just added to this special property. The owners are nearby so that was comforting. 10/10

Great Escape!

My husband and I enjoyed our weekend at the lake house. The views were outstanding it was great to sit on the deck with a glass of wine. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was clean and stocked and the entire place was updated and well maintained! Next time we'll come with our fishing equipment!

Absolutely gorgeous view/scenery, extremely clean, very comfortable. Enjoyed the welcome wine and Pellegrino! One parking space adjacent to house. While there was overflow parking just down the street, would have at least liked 2 parking spaces right at the home.

I am always rejuvenated when I'm here at the river. I get a feeling of tranquility seeing the eagles and other wildlife in the area. I love being able to just jump on my boat ( any excuse is a good one ) and take a ride on the water. Let me tell you about the Safe Harbor Indian Petrogylphs and the local history and botany.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

If you like getting away from it all, need to unwind or great place to play ~~ you found it!
The best area for boating, from waterskiing to kayaking, or fishing. We are close enough if want to have a nice dinner & show. The Fulton Opera House, the American Music Theater, Sight & Sound and several movie theaters are only 1/2 hour drive. If you are new to the area, come discover Amish Country, antiquing in Columbia or experiencing the clock and watch museum.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

The Lake's tranquility and all the other things it has to offer may be the reason why the Indians chose to live here. Check out Indian Steps Museum, The Conestoga Historical Society, Canal Lock 12, Tucquan Glenn Nature Preserve , relax ~~ fish, boat or hike.
