We had a wonderful stay! The location right on the river was absolutely beautiful, and the rental was well-stocked with everything we needed for the week, including sheets, towels, dishes, pots and pans, and a coffee pot. It was also conveniently located near all the areas we wanted to visit and more.The only downside was the train that ran on the track between the rental and the river. While we were aware of the railroad when booking, we wish we had been informed that trains would run throughout the night and into the early morning hours, as the noise did affect our sleep the first few days until we got used to it.Aside from that, it was a great stay, and we really enjoyed our time there!

Beautiful sunsets, Great Lake access . Comfortable beds. Nicely stocked kitchen. Hosts were awesome. Only downside was the train traffic at night.

Beautiful property! The house was very clean and comfortable. The outside was beautifully landscaped and the seating by the river was perfect to watch the wildlife and view the sunset each night. Second floor bathroom had a step up to enter. This was a challenge for my disabled husband and something to consider if you have mobility issues.

Rented both sides for a few days to keep us close to daughters wedding venue and allow room for parents and others. Was very peaceful, all the amenities that you need and a very beautiful view of the river and sunset. Saw bald eagles everyday as they perched in a tree right in front of the house about every night. Over all a great place. We may go back just for a relaxing getaway, even though we're only an hour away and we live in the country, this place was even quieter and more relaxing with the view.

Wow! What an absolutely beautiful property and weekend for our family!! We had the best time enjoying hundreds of butterflies all around, fishing from the dock, playing horseshoes and just enjoying such an incredible view.The house was beautiful and clean, the yard was well maintained and the neighbors were great company. There's a bonfire pit as well so we made sure to stock up on local firewood from a farm on our way into into town and it made for such a peaceful night by the lake. The owner was super communicative when we needed something small (peroxide for a cut), kitchen was fully equipped and the town felt very safe and quiet. We also went tubing down the local pequea creek from sickman's mill and it was such a cool local experience as well! (Jimmy juice was awesome!) Highly recommend this stay, we had the best time. :)

"This place is absolutely charming with breathtaking, direct water views! It was the perfect spot for our girls' weekend getaway. The host was incredibly accommodating and had excellent response times. The kitchen was truly well-stocked with everything we needed for cooking, and having laundry on-site was a huge plus. Highly recommended!"

This is a very nice property. Extremely clean. Very nice kitchen with a fabulous refrigerator and great plates/glasses/mugs/silverware. Full bath on the ground floor with excellent grab bars, very handy for a person like me who has some mobility challenges. Only four steps up to the house, and a good handrail.Pleasant living room with comfortable reclining sofa, huge TV, and good lighting. Good-sized dining table, also with good light. There was a solid handrail but I chose to sleep on the sofa in the living room in order to avoid the stairs up to the second floor. With a sheet, blanket, and pillows, I was cozy and slept very well.My husband reported that his bed upstairs was very comfortable. Nice soft pillows. Good hot water and water pressure. We were visiting for a family wedding and the rest of our family stayed nextdoor in the attached larger VRBO unit. It was great having so many family members there and yet we were able to retreat to our own place when we wanted to, even if the rest of the family was still going strong. The views from the back deck(s) were lovely. There are train tracks along the river and trains did pass occasionally, but they did not make a lot of noise or blow their whistles. I rather enjoyed hearing them chug by. There is a parking space right in front of the house, and there is additional parking just a few yards away. We enjoyed our stay.

This house was amazing!! The view was absolutely breath taking. The house is stocked with things you may have forgot to bring. The owners are very friendly and spine to us fall while outside. I'll Def stay there again.

Absolutely stunning view. Even the drive there was rather magical. SOOO quiet and gorgeous and private. Really really nice. Easy parking. Host left us coffee!! I had a question and he responded in minutes. Comfortable mattresses, lovely linens, clean house... felt safe and spoiled.

We loved the views, the eagles and the house was awesome!Brian was very helpful, and responded right away to a couple of questions we had, would book there again.
We had the pleasure of hearing these 2 eagles singing each morning in the tree above the house, it was awesome.
