Ständigt uppdaterad familjekabin inom bekvämt gångavstånd från Twain Harte centrum. Den välskötta stugan ligger på en av Twain Harts tystaste gator och inkluderar täckt parkering och en främre och bakre däck. Byggd 1949, har denna klassiska stuga två sovrum och ett badrum. Trådlöst internet, satellit-TV, DVD / BluRay med 100-tal DVD-skivor. Fullt kök, gasgrill, elektrisk spis, matsal, barnområde, leksaker, spel, böcker, DVD-skivor och en pålitlig ugn (med backupgenerator) för en trevlig varm stuga. Vi är stolta över att erbjuda en ren hytt med ett nytt minne skum queen size-säng i varje sovrum och ett sortiment av kudde typer. Nya vardagsrumsmöbler från 2018 och en ny smart 40-tommers TV 2019. Den stora bakdäcken har utsikt över en liten inhägnad bakgård. Gott hjort kommer igenom varje dag. * BONUS: stugan är en sällsynt hitta i rätt Twain Harte, eftersom det har lite utrymme mellan de närliggande stugorna, men jag måste säga till mina heltidsgrannar som bor i det lugna området, DETTA ÄR INTE EN PARTY HOUSE och 10:00 - 8 kl. Regler måste följas.

Från Memorial Day till Labor Day ingår Twain Harte Lake privilegier med entréavgifter på $ 6 per person. Den historiska, privata sjön inkluderar rena stränder, barns simhall, vattenrutschbanor, vattencykeluthyrning, fiske (under 16), badpärmar, dykbräda, mellanmålshack, bingo nätter och livräddare under sommarsäsongen. Denna plats är ett barns sommardröm. Perfekt för stand-up paddla också.

Det finns 10 ställen att äta och dricka inom en 5-10 minuters promenad. Gå också till: golf, tennis, offentlig pool, putt-putt golf, lekplats, skatepark, dike trail, park-in-the-park (sommar lördagar), filmer i parken (sommar fredagar), lokal musik på Café Blossom (sommar lördagar), affärer, glass, kaffe. Kör till Black Oak Casino, Pinecrest Lake, Dodge Ridge Ski Resort, Columbia State Park, Moaning Caverns och Zip Lines, Railtown 1897, downtown Sonora (museer, affärer, restauranger) och Yosemite (2 timmar).

Vi hyr huvudvåningen och det har också en stor källare som har en tvättmaskin och en fotboll. På övervåningen finns ett låst, otillgängligt ägarområde för närvarande under ombyggnad.

Love the game room

Perfect house, the kitchen was well stocked, house was clean and cozy. I liked the gated yard. We had a family of deer’s grazing next to the fence. The game room was a lot of fun. The owner was great to work with and responded very quickly. I would definitely book it again.

Twain Harte Gem

Great cabin property with good access to town. Well appointed kitchen and a great game room for the kids with lots of arcade games. Plenty of board games for the whole family and a nice deck area to watch the wildlife! Cabin was rustic but you can tell the owners care about updates and working to keep it in good shape. Would gladly stay here again!

Cute , cozy , and great for kids !

We really loved our stay and this has been one of my favorite Twain Harte properties ! Character galore ! The big foot theme is so cute . Pros : + Place was well appointed and I didn’t have to use the extra tp I brought for 4 of us for 4 days + Easy /simple check in and check out ! + Game room was awesome , my kids loved it ! + The queen sized upstairs bedroom stayed nice and dark and we appreciated the wall unit a/c. + The motion lights outside in driveway were so helpful . + downstairs ac worked fantastically . + beautiful ambient lighting + great water pressure and no issues with toilets flushing etc + Twain Harte lake access + internet worked great + lots of plugs for electronic charging etc + hosts were super friendly and accommodating ! Suggestions for hosts - consider adding insulated room darkening curtains to the game room and downstairs bedrooms :) I frequently make this suggestion when I travel Especially with kids as it helps with sleep ! - wall unit a/c would be helpful for the game room bedroom as it got toasty during hot days /nights (even with fans and airing out ) but tolerable ! (Or maybe moving the game away from a/c floor unit would help circulation). Suggestions for guests : Bring your own Kleenex . It’s one thing I always forget! Thank you again and we hope to come back !

Wonderful experience!

The cabin was exactly as described, the beds were super comfy, we watched deer in the mornings and evenings, and listened to so many different birds. Having lake access was great, it’s super close and my teenagers had so much fun. Scott was great - answered texts quickly and was super communicative. Required cleanup on checkout day was reasonable and easy. Overall an amazing trip and when we come back to Twain Harte we will absolutely stay here again.

Wonderful getaway

Me and my family had a wonderful getaway here. The rental is exactly as described. The new addition upstairs with the games was a favorite of our two young boys. The owner was fast in his responses to any questions we had and that was very appreciated. We had planned to explore the area the days we were there but we were so happy and relaxed, we didnt even leave the house. The boys loved the gated backyard area and my husband and i enjoyed lounging on the back patio. My kids still cant stop talking about it. We will defenitly be back!

Such a great spot!

Second time staying here, and we really enjoy this place. Super clean, well put together, great amenities. The porch is wonderful for morning coffee and dinners outside, and once the lights go out, allows for some lovely star gazing. (Had a shooting start this last trek!) Definitely a great place to stay and would be happy to go back again!

Had an amazing time

The property manager was very thoughtful and was very quick to respond. Didn’t run into a single problem, the couches were comfy, the kitchen was easy to use, the beds were comfy and the cabin is placed so close to downtown Twain Harte! Highly recommend you stay here for your next vacation!

Perfect getaway! Everything we needed was there

We didn’t want to leave! The Bigfoot Lodge is homey, comfortable, and the perfect place for our three young kids to play. We lucked out and got lots of snow, so the kids could play on the deck and in the backyard. The heater is fantastic. The kitchen has everything you’d need to whip up your favorite meals. No shortage of blankets and snow toys on the basement. I bet it is amazing in the summer as well. Everyone we encountered in town was SUPER friendly. And if you need anything else, Sonora is only a 15 minute drive. You’ll find a Walmart, movie theater, Starbucks, medical center, and much more.

Enjoyed our stay!

My husband, our 4 year old daughter and myself stayed at the Big Foot Lodge, it was the perfect size for us. It was very clean upon arrival, cozy with the heater on which was great. Scott was amazing at communicating, definitely a bonus. He worked with us on adjusting our stay since there was a little storm the day we were suppose to arrive but he understood safety was a priority. We truly appreciated that. We didn’t have to drive anywhere as we had so much fun with just the snow that was outside the cabin, in the backyard, across the way. Loved seeing all the different pictures in each room, also the Christmas decor. Our daughter was super excited to see there was toys she could play with as well, they have books and movies you can read/watch as well. We would definitely stay here again and look forward to our next family trip. Thank you Scott & Monica!

Amazing kid friendly stay!

We loved our stay at Scott’s Bigfoot lodge cabin. We had our two sons, age 2.5yo and 2mo and it was such a great time. The property is really cool and has a bunch of nice touches to welcome our kids including games, toys, a foosball table, a swing, and a nice fenced in yard. Location was great and we enjoyed the surrounding attractions. Communication with Scott was easy and he helped with all our questions. The cabin itself has a great touch with cool decorations that make you feel like you’re tucked away in the woods but it was also extremely well stocked with everything we needed for our stay. Our boys loved the property and we had a wonderful time. I would highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy Twain Harte and the surrounding area but especially for families with young kids. You could tell the property was set up to cater to families and it was a really great vacation for us. Looking forward to visiting again in the future!

The land that time forgot!

What a magical weekend. The cabin was everything we hoped it would be. Clean, comfortable and quaint. It was 100+ degrees when we stayed but the multiple ceiling fans and air conditioning units worked wonderfully and kept us nice and cool. Close to downtown, we enjoyed mini golf, the lake, and even took in a car show! Twain Harte is idyllic for anyone wanting to escape and go back in time. The neighborhood was very quite and safe. Deer came into the yard every morning which our kiddos loved. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. Our kids also loved exploring the basement and playing foosball! Scott was a great host and made the process very smooth.

Great choice for a short holiday!

Very comfortable and cozy for our family group of four. The wall decorations provided interesting glimpses into some of the nearby attractions. Very comfortable living room furniture for viewing our Netflix account when we were winding down for the evening. The room air conditioners did a very good job in the hot August weather. This is an older property and shows some signs of it's age, but that was undoubtedly part of it's charm. We had never heard of Twain Harte before, but quickly grew fond of this very small, unique town. The highlight for us was the ability to access the private Twain Harte Lake on a hot summer day and delight in the enjoyment of a 10 year old.

Lovely cabin!

We love Twain Harte and this is one of the most well-appointed properties that we've stayed at! Excellent amenities, comfortable beds (and pillows!), and the back yard/deck was perfect for the hot weather. The ceiling fans and black-out blinds worked well enough to keep it cool inside such that we didn't need to run the A/C despite the 95+ degrees. Scott was very responsive to my many questions and an excellent host. We hope to stay here again!

I still live near Modesto, but have been coming to the Twain Harte area my whole life and I enjoy all that there is to do in the area. I'm a recently retired career firefighter and have incorporated many safety features into our cabin. Safety is our #1 priority.

My family looked at many cabins before choosing this one. The moment we walked in we knew we had found the right one. What sold us was the rustic look mixed with updated amenities and real comfort. We also lucked out with fabulous neighbors, space in between neighboring cabins, and a quiet street that's close to downtown.
