Ned ett smalt spår till en liten by, ett kort avstånd från Langton Matravers - en tre sovrums viktoriansk stuga som sover sex. Omgiven av National Trust land med fantastisk utsikt mot havet en väg och mot Korfes slott å andra sidan. Lyxigt matta vardagsrum med öppen öppen spis i Purbeck och utsikt över Purbeckdalen. Matsal med original flaggflod som gränsar till ett nyrenoverat kök. Nedre våningen "loo" Tre bra storlek bekväma sovrum med tvättställ. Liten söderläge trädgård med uteplats och sommarstuga. Centralvärme hela. Wifi och tillräcklig parkering för tre bilar. Swanage med sandstränder ligger två miles away och Studland är cirka fem miles. Stugan är omgiven av klassiska Dorset vandringar. Den sydvästra västkustbanan är cirka en mil. Den berömda puben "Square and Compass" ligger drygt en mil och "Scott Arms" i Kingston är två och en halv mil. Den roste "Pig on the Beach" ligger bara fem miles bort.

Enjoyable stay in this lovely cottage with amazing views!!

The cottage was as described. It had everything you could ever need. Beds were very comfortable. The view from the cottage was fantastic!!

Tired Cottage

Stayed here over Christmas, great location and views. The cottage itself is tiered and in need of some updating. A lot of the crockery was chipped and not very clean. We also found various items that were clearly left by a previous visitor. It’s was responsibly price we just felt there was a lack of attention to detail.

Glorious countryside

Well equipped house, great views no complaints except single track down to cottage overgrown with brambles , needs a bit of a trim. Overall pleased all round

Delightful cottage in fabulous location!

We had a wonderful long weekend staying in this delightful little cottage. The views are spectacular- you can see Corte castle & the sea from the front room & master bedroom. Perfect location for exploring Swanage, Studland & surrounding Dorset countryside. The cottage is really well equipped, very clean & comfy. Parking was easy & for anyone with an EV there are 4 charging points in the main Swanage car park! John was super helpful & replied quickly to any questions we had. Highly recommend!

A really wonderful place to stay

Such a lovely comfortable and cosy cottage with fabulous views. It's in a beautiful location with so many sea and country walks all around. John and Diana were very welcoming and wonderful hosts. We couldn't have been happier there.

We loved this cosy cottage with great views. Very well equipped with comfortable beds and good bedding and everything we needed . We were a family of 5 adults and there was plenty of room . Great location and would definitely rebook

Fantastic family stay. Value for money.

Property is in a beautiful location with stunning views. Very short drive to Swanage and great location for getting to places such as Wareham, Kimmeridge and Durdledoor. As other reviewers have said, the photos don't do the property justice and in todays climate I found the price good value for the amenities. Very clean and property well equipped. Just a note that there's a shared passage at the back of the house to get to the back garden. Just need to be mindful if you are bringing dogs. Also to note, house is accessed by a dirt track.

Lovely accomodation

Absolutely perfect accomodation for our family of 6. It is perfectly situtated within walking distance of the coast without having to be within the tourist area. The property manager was fabulous at communicating and left lots of helpful information for us. The cottage was well equiped and we had everything we needed for our week away.

Haus in ruhiger Lage mit traumhafter Aussicht

Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet, die Betten sind bequem, die Küche ist gut ausgestattet und alles ist absolut sauber - ein richtig schönes englisches Landhaus. Da es ein Reihenendhaus ist, gelangt man auch von der Seite her in den schönen Garten. In dem hübschen Gartenhaus gibt es Möbel und man kann wunderschön dort die Sonne genießen. Unsere Lieblingsplätze waren die Erker in Wohn- und Schlafzimmer. Man kann dort den endlos weiten Blick bis zum Corfe Castle, zum Meer und auf die Schafwiesen genießen. Besonders schön im Sonnenaufgang! Ferner ist das Haus optimal als Ausgangspunkt für herrliche Wanderungen, nicht zuletzt entlang der atemberaubenden Küste Purbecks, nach Swanage, Poole und Bournemouth geeignet. Für uns ein kleines Paradies, in das wir gerne zurückkommen werden.

Lovely house in a superb location.

We've had a very nice holiday in this beautiful old house with outstanding views. Owner John responded quickly to any queries we had and everything was as described in the advertising. Location ideal for coastal walking. Highly recommended.

Wonderful location

We loved our stay. The house is clean and bigger and brighter than it looks in the pictures. Great views towards Corfe and Swanage bay from the front of the house. It’s ideally positioned for walks, perfect for families who enjoy being outdoors, especially if you bring your dog like we did.

Beautiful view

Well modernised cottage. Lovely kitchen and bathroom. Lovely view to front. Bedrooms very light, great in day but would benefit from thicker curtains. Would not recommend for small children due to the prominent stone hearth surround. Also the instruction not to allow the dog to "do its business" in the garden but to take it across the fields renders the garden useless for a dog (Have you ever tried to make one stop) All in all a great place for a family with older children but wouldn't take a dog or small children.

Couldn't have stayed anywhere better to escape the heatwave

Gorgeous stone house stayed cool in the heat. Beautiful views. Comfortable beds. Good facilities. Wash basin in every bedroom and two toilets were great. Very peaceful.
