Elegant timmerhus vid Main Lake - ponton, kajaker, pizzaugn

"The Lodge at Lake Gaston" är ett vackert hus med timmerstuga med utsikt över en miljon dollar. 4 sovrum plus loft hem, beläget vid vattnet i huvudsjön Gaston nära ingången till Pea Hill Creek. Lake Gaston ligger precis vid NC / VA-statens linje och förklarades nyligen till sjön tillflyktsort # 1 över USA av BuzzFeed och dess läsare.

Stort dubbelbåthus med spiraltrappa som leder till ett soldäck (brukade vara en helipad!). Båthuset är redo för skojs skull med massor av solstolar, förråd (med barfönster), ljudsystem och vattenrutschbana! Stort område vid vattnet (skott) med djupt vatten (5-6 fot). Den svagt sluttande trädgården har en stor sten eldstad & pizzaugn. Vi har också en gas-Weber-grill och rökare (båda kopplade till centralt hus propan).

Detta hem har en öppen planlösning; kök, vardagsrum och matsal kombination, öppen spis och 2 master sviter, plus halv badrum och tvättstuga på huvudnivån. Franska dörrar från vardagsrum och sovrum öppna för stor täckt veranda med underbar utsikt över sjön Gaston och båthuset. Öppna loftområdet på övervåningen har utsikt över vardagsrummet och har utsikt över sjön, extra sovrum (inget fönster) på övervåningen.

Gå ner för att njuta av rekreationsområdet med full bar, bänkskivor i granit, gammaldags arkadspel, Tornado foosball, ping pong och TV / surround sound-up. Stora sovrum med två uppsättningar våningssängar (båda två över hela) är perfekt för många barn eller en hel familj.

Min svogers pontonbåt ligger dockad vid huset och finns att hyra av honom (varje vecka eller dagligen). Om du är intresserad av pontonen kan jag sätta dig direkt i kontakt med honom. Det finns också flera småbåtshamnar i området som hyr båtar och vattenskidor.

Vi har en paddelbåt och kajaker (1 tandem kajak för vuxna och 2 kajaker för ungdom / små vuxna) som är tillgängliga för hyresgäster att använda (utan extra kostnad).

Huset är bekvämt för alla båtliv och shopping behov. På huvudsjön, men också nära de mer lugna vikarna i Pea Hill Creek. 5 minuter från livsmedelsbutiken Food Lion, Dollar General och Ace Hardware.

The Lodge has been the place I have stayed at during my 4 visits to Lake Gaston. The host Lisa was more than helpful during the entire process. The house was immaculate and the kitchen was stocked with everything a cook needed, which was me. the layout of the house was perfect as well as the outside patio and dock. My father and siblings had the best time ever.

Wonderful stay on lake Gaston. Cozy super clean cabin with tons of amenities enjoyed by our family ages 8 to 73. Great gathering and dining areas, watercraft available, tvs with streaming, great WiFi, fully equipped kitchen, very comfortable beds with high end linens provided. Lots of games, dvds, great views, dock with slide , osprey and herons to watch. Great place!

This is a beautiful home & property. Plenty of room for all 7 of our family. Kids loved the basement & spent the time not on the lake playing all the games provided. The view from the deck was spectacular & coffee in the morning was our favorite. The kids also loved the boat dock with the slide & used the kayaks & paddle board all the time. This is a fully equipped home that made our week a wonderful time. Beds were very comfortable & firepit was fun. Didn't try the pizza oven but is cool. And then there's Lisa, who is a very responsive host responding to my many questions often within a couple hours. This is a perfect place to enjoy Lake Gaston!

We visited with a family of 8. (3 kids, 5 adults). The space was perfect for us. The rooms on the main floor had adjoining bathrooms, which was nice for some privacy, one person stayed upstairs, though there was space for 2-3 more, and she had her own bathroom. The 3 kids stayed in the basement, and they loved all of the "extras" down there. Our 13 year old spent the evenings learning to play the piano! Our 8 year old loved the video game console and the ping pong table, and our 11 year old loved the easy access to the dock. The house has everything you need - the views are amazing, and we loved our time on the back deck (morning coffee and conversation) and the dock was where we spent the majority of our time, between the slide, the kayaks, the raft, the boat. The games in the basement were a nice bonus as well -- charades, trivial pursuit, apples to apples, puzzles. We would stay here again.

This was a great property. It was very clean and provided everything we needed for a long weekend. Communication with Lisa the owner was great. Having the pontoon rental on site was great as well. We would stay here again.

Great vacation house!

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house. It was super clean at check-in and had everything we needed! The location was great and the dock is fantastic. Plenty of room for our 9 adults.

Gorgeous Cabin on Lake Gaston. Owners super responsive and a pleasure to work with. We had 4 kids, and everyone had an incredibly enjoyable weekend on the water! Highly recommend this house and owners.

Wonderful New Year's Stay

The property was a perfect way to kick off the New Year with family. The house was warm and comfortable with plenty of things to keep the teens and adults entertained. The host was very easy to communicate with and did everything she could to make our stay enjoyable! Would recommend this house to others.

Varför värden valde detta boende

I fell in love with the rustic but beautiful log cabin style and the beautiful views of the main lake from nearly every room in the house. There are so few log cabin homes on the lake!

I also love our boat house and dock area. It's particularly large and we have an extended covered area that is beautiful and comfortable all year round (even in the summer since it is covered). We also have tons of chairs for relaxing with family and friends on the dock. There is a granite bar and a drink fridge inside the boat house. And everyone loves the water slide. We spend most of our time on the dock!

Whenever I am at our house I truly feel like I'm on vacation.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

This home has a lot of neat extras including: outdoor stone pizza oven, fire pit, Sabre gas grilled (connected to house propane system), professional arcade games, high end foosball and ping pong, surround sound, corn hole, a huge sun deck, dock slide, stand-up paddle board, paddle boat and kayaks (2 youth kayaks and a tandem kayak).
