Annual 5 friends weekend. We had a great time. The house was exactly, if not better, than described. Clean, comfortable, close to the beach, golf, restaurants and town. Plenty of places to relax inside and out. We were able to play scrabble, do crafts, enjoy meals. The host was extremely responsive and helpful. Very easy to coordinate with. Highly recommended!

This property was perfect for a low key weekend and everything was so clean it felt like the cleaners had just left. The host was super accommodating, communicative and friendly making the stay even better. It was a short walk to the beach and close in proximity to the boardwalk!

Summer vacation in Santa Cruz

Nice newer home located within easy walking distance to the harbor, restaurants and beach. Maureen was great with allowing us to get in early and in quickly addressing a minor issue we had. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Living Amongst Locals

Fantastic home in quiet neighborhood with easy walk to beach and eateries! Small 3rd floor office easily accommodates extra firm foam single mattress. Hot tub made our early June trip more enjoyable. Beach days were limited due to weather. The house spacious and played out well. Definitely would rent this house again.

Spring Break 2025!

This is by far one of the best homes I have stayed at during my family trips using Vrbo to locate quality vacation rental homes. I will most definitely being staying here again for our next visit to Santa Cruz. I HIGHLY recommend this vacation rental home for the following reasons:Excellent Communication with Marlene.I appreciated her personal phone call to ensure a safe visit and to ensure we understood her house keeping expectations. She was always available via text if every I had a few questions. All home instructions were also in a very organized packet upon entering the home. House alarm was nice too!Clean and Beautiful Home.The house was very clean. All of the bedrooms, bathrooms, living areas, patio, front porch, decks, and garage were extremely clean, organized, well stocked with linens, and cooking supplies. Washer and dryer very helpful. Comfortable beds, teens were happy!Safe and Lovely Neighborhood:Neighbors were welcoming as we took walks to the beach or local convenient store. Families in the area riding bikes and walking their pets also gave a safe feeling. Clean area, everyone takes good care of their homes. Great Location:Walks to the beach were excellent. The house has beach chairs, toys, and other fun outdoor equipment. Not a long drive to the pier either. Fun family day at the pier. My favoritesLove the fireplace, jacuzzi, tall glass windows to enjoy the backyard, comfy furniture, peaceful, area and parking is good. Simply perfect!

Great visit to Santa Cruz

Probably one of the nicest properties we have stayed at in our travels. Even nicer than the pictures show! Location was excellent and house and kitchen were well stocked and provided everything we needed. Didn’t end up using the outdoor area much because of all the acorns and debris from the beautiful oak tree in the backyard but that’s okay. We had a wonderful visit, thank you!

My husband and I work and live in Silicon Valley. We are Ohio transplants but have called San Jose our home for over 30 years so I guess we are locals now. We love to hike, bike, fish (my husband) and relax at the beach.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

Even though we only live 25 minutes from the property we feel like we are on vacation whenever we go to Santa Cruz. The stress and traffic of Silicon Valley makes coming to Santa Cruz so relaxing. We had been looking for a vacation rental for over 3 years as we needed a downstairs bed and bath and an open floor plan for our son who uses a wheelchair. We also wanted to be close to a beach with no stairs so we could easily get him to the beach. 420 9th Ave. met and exceeded our needs.

We loved the quiet street, the cement floors and counter tops and the wheelchair friendliness of the home.
