Another great stay in Borrego

We had a wonderful time at Kathleen & Jack's place. So quiet and peaceful. It was nice staying in a clean and comfortable house.

This is an amazing house- retro cool with stunning mountain views! House was perfectly maintained with comfy beds, great kitchen and an awesome library! Honestly, we loved it so much- you should go- you’ll love it too!!

A Desert's Windfall Welcome

The wind may have been aggressive, but the warmth of our stay at "Pitch Perfect," was warm and welcoming. The 50 stylish home, decor, and accessories were plentiful and immediately able to be used. When next visiting Borrego Springs, we will plan most definitely on staying at this desert home.

Fantastic Borrego Springs 2 bdr 2 bath Rental

We really loved this house! Great price! It's cute, it has everything you need (including Direct TV)! Very simply decorated and spacious. The backyard is big and the view is beautiful too. Kathleen was super with allowing us to stay an extra day. Will most definitely come back! We highly recommend checking it out:)

Feels authentically mid-century.

The interior of the house feels mid-century, but it is actually an improvement. I think it's what mid-century designers had in mind but didn't have modern materials like the black countertop, the flooring, and the 2 giant sliding glass doors that showcase the beautiful view.

"Don Draper of the desert"

I can't say enough about the consummate decor of this mid-century modern home; from the green tile in the kitchen to the cocktail cart in the living room--so "Mad Men"! The sun was the palette that painted the mountains viewed from the back patio--each hour of the day different from the last. Comfy bed, hot strong shower. Great library of desert themed books. I started reading "No place for a puritan"--didn't finish it, so I will now put it on my Xmas list. Will definitely keep the homes' bibliography for further reading. Thank you Kathleen and Jack!

Lovely mid century house in the desert

Very comfortable place to stay. If you enjoy star gazing, it’s the perfect place. About 5 minutes out of town. Borrego Springs is a dark sky community, no street lights to spoil your view. Great hikes in the park, took a botany walk to see desert plants.

Another Perfect Stay

We had a wonderful week in Borrego Springs. Love this house. Have stayed many times. The house is very comfortable and has everything we need. It even has a resident roadrunner that comes by each morning. Don't hesitate. It's the perfect place to call home in Borrego.

A fantastic retro-cool home in a magical place

This lovely and charming mid-century modern home features a great combination of original character and contemporary updates to provide a wonderfully comfortable stay. New floors throughout including cool black-and-white tile in the kitchen, and newer HVAC pair with mod fixtures and furniture, and beamed ceilings. Kitchen is fully stocked for just about any need. More than enough room for two, could easily accommodate four guests. The huge wall of windows facing north to the patio and desert scrub afford an incredible view from the living room and morning coffee on the patio was a great way to enjoy the desert air. Breath-taking expanse and abundance of stars at night. The hosts were friendly, gracious and responsive through check in. We completely adore this home and we hope to be back! A couple of notes: The shower head in the master bath is quite low; taller guests might appreciate the shower stall in the other bathroom. Opening windows early in the day is a great way to get cool air into the house, and the ceiling fans do a nice job of keeping things comfortable.

Comfortable Desert Retreat

We enjoyed a relaxing stay at this scenic and comfortable home. It is equipped with everything you would need for cooking and daily living. The view from the living room and patio is spectacular, with open desert backed by tall mountains. We enjoyed frequent walks through the desert neighborhood and in the nearby state park.

Clean and Enjoyable

A few maintenance issues that keep us from rating this a 5 but we still want to stay here again. Peaceful, quiet neighborhood, yet close to town. Back yard faces open land, great views of it from wall of windows. Outstanding integration of desert landscaping with mid-century interior colors.

Happy Holidays

We had another perect Xmas at this wonderful home in Borrego Springs. Weather was great. Had lots of birds visit each morning. View was spectacular. The owners even had a trimmed Xmas tree waiting there for us! We have stayed in this home several times. Extremely comfortable. Had everything we needed. Couldn't ask for more. We'll be back in March.

You will love this house! It has a great location. It's private but not isolated and very close to the small "downtown" area of Borrego Springs.

This is a wonderful place for getting away from almost everything but still having lots of comforts, like TV with a DVR and a well-equipped kitchen and beautiful outdoor sitting areas.
