Great condo

Clean, great location, very secure property. Beach chairs are not included and the master bedroom bedding is very thin but overall, great value.

Perfect little get away

Everything was exactly as described for the property. I loved the close parking, ease of access to the unit, clean grounds. The pool, hot tub and beach were right outside, very easy access and secured. The unit was clean and had a nice layout for everyone to have their own space. We needed to contact the property manager for one thing; it was resolved right away and the follow up communication on their end ensured everything had been taken care of to our satisfaction.

Family Getaway

Had a great week in Destin and We always stay in Destin Towers, you can’t beat the convenience of the location with the least crowded private beach area in front of you. Will always recommend this area.

Destin Towers beach trip

We enjoyed our stay in Destin Towers. The condo was clean and comfortable, and the view can’t be beat. The pool is sparkling and the beach access is convenient. We would come here again for sure!

November Stay

The unit was very clean and the location was excellent. Just steps to the beach, pool and hot tub which were all clean and well-maintained. The unit had all supplies that you could need for your stay.

Excellent View

We truly enjoyed our stay, the view was amazing with a small resort feel. The condo had everything we needed and the staff was friendly. Some construction going on but it wasn't bothersome.

Best view, perfect location

Pros: Super clean, right on the beach, great view, equipped kitchen - every appliance and utensil you can think of. Boogie boards and beach toys. Tons of regular towels. Cons: construction on balcony, pool and hot tub were closed. Mgt did give a discount. Would stay again!

Destin Towers

We love staying at Destin Towers. This condo was clean and nicely decorated. My only complaint was in the past we had three separate codes to access the condo, gate and the side door from the pool. We didn’t have a side door code and had to walk around to the main entrance every time.

Destin Towers stay

Pots and pans way past time for replacement. Air conditioning in master bedroom didn’t work well, refrigerator had a hard time cooling items down. Those were complaints but overall the condo was super nice and convenient

Not as relaxing as we hoped

Condo floor was very dirty. Wiped it with a damp wash cloth and cloth had a dirty hand print on it. Complained about it Saturday but didn’t hear from compass until Tuesday. They came and “cleaned” again but with the same results with a damp cloth. Wi-Fi was terrible. They did come on Tuesday after we complained on Saturday but didn’t fix it. Complained again and they did get a new modem put in on Wednesday. Toilet was running. They came and “fixed” it on Tuesday but it was then way worse. They came again on Wednesday and got it fixed. Construction on roof which woke us up every morning around 7 from jack hammering. View was beautiful though.

Great location, dated, a few minor issues.

Property as pictured and described. Pros; Saw Dolphins every morning from balcony, beach just a few steps away. Next door balcony juts out so can’t see sunset but view of ocean fantastic. Pool and hot tub small but nice. Small beach umbrella and 3 beach chairs provided (in the furnace closet) Prompt communication with management, quickly addressed any concerns we had. Missing livingroom TV remote, they kindly ordered one which we received in three days. Beds were comfortable. Location of hotel nice, easy to get to eateries..putt putt golf and water park right across the road ( water park not open when we were there). Plenty of kitchen appliances and glass bowls, dishes..would have been nice to have some Tupperware. Cons:Dated building aging apparent (water damage bathroom baseboards, sink calking w mildew) musty smell of carpets in entryway and hallways. Urine smell coming from vents in small bedroom and bathroom and living room. Our neighbors reported same. Management informed so may be resolved.Jets in bath tub of intermittently worked. Clothes dryer old long dry times. Have to rent chairs, umbrella on beach). Minimal toilet paper, no toiletries, one hairdryer,no kitchen supplies, ie baggies,tinfoil, spices. Lack of any flyers or pamphlets about local area. That being said would stay again ( if priced right) because of location to beach and balcony views. Management also very responsive and professional.

Compass Resorts are liars and be careful renting any condo through them. ThemM

Condo is okay but plumbing needs some work. Air conditioning unit is very loud so bring ear plugs. Internet or free WiFi is technically included but signal regularly breaks up and it is almost unusable. For instance NetFlex breaks every 10 minutes to down load a movie. Forget playing games on it. The router is very old so that might be the reason. Rebooting it does nothing. The pool for the condo is very small and lacks pool lights so forget swimming in it at night. On a positive note the beach is great for the condo. The balcony for the unit is in great shape and offers great views. The Dustin Tower building is being painted right now and Compass Resorts totally lied about this work as it was supposed to be completed. Several mornings we had guys surprisingly working on our 4th floor balcony painting. Thank god my sixteen year old daughter wasn’t caught in a compromising situation. We also had a nice view of scaffolding off our balcony for half of our stay as well. Overall the condo is over priced for what you get. Even considering the ongoing painting during our stay.
