Du får exceptionell integritet och fantastiska sjö eller skog utsikt från alla rum. Se och höra vågorna inifrån och ut! Spektakulära öppen sjö front egendom och bara några steg till vidöppen sandstrand. Fantastiska soluppgångar och moonrises över Lake Michigan från insidan, på gräsmattan och på sanden.
Denna unika stuga är markerad med en 50 fot inglasad sjön veranda. Den är prydd med färgglada handmålade möbler, en inbjudande stort matbord, en vintage rocker samling, och specialdesignade klädsel. Om du väljer att kyla i en rocker eller ta en tupplur på dagbädd, är sjön veranda en besökare favorit. Ta en stund att skriva i vår gästbok och lägga din stuga minne.
Det blå sovrummet har en dubbelsäng och byrå plus en egen ingång till veranda.
Peach sovrummet har en kompakt dubbelsäng. Inte för långa sliprar.
Rymlig och privata övervåningen är en stor familj plats med en dubbelsäng, 2 enkelsängar och en futon. Kan användas som ett spel och läshörna för barnen.

Such an amazing getaway. Spent lots of time out on the beach relaxing and our little one playing in the sand. This place is amazing! We were able to easily go up to Kohler-Andrae state park and Bookworm gardens, too, which was a blast!

This was our first visit to the cottage, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The cottage is well stocked with essential items, and all kitchen equipment works flawlessly. Beautiful sunrises and plenty of sand on a great beach. Upstairs air conditioning was welcomed by those in our group needing respite from the heat. We hope to return again soon. BobStangoMost enjoyable for my family.

Wonderfully relaxing stay

Our family enjoyed 10 days on the beach. The cottage is set up beautifully with everything you need. Walking on the beach, enjoying the water and a fire at night brought memorable moments for my entire family. We are so happy to have stayed here.

Serenity

The Seagull Cottage was a perfect place for our family of four to unwind on the sandy beach of Lake Michigan. The cottage is stocked with anything you need, and everything is organized and easy to find. Our stay was very peaceful, I think we saw maybe a dozen people walking the beach over our six day stay. The cottage and town is full of history, and we recommend visiting the dirt track races on Saturday night in Plymouth. We could not have asked for a better place to stay, or a better host. Mary was extremely responsive and made sure that we knew all of the ins and outs. We highly recommend this property of a day stay or a month!

Wedding Weekend

I booked this lovely house for my family during my wedding weekend and it was the most beautiful stay! The house is full of so much history and we all loved reading the stories that went along with it. The location was beautiful and we’re so lucky to have gotten the opportunity to make our own memories there. The hosts were so nice and accommodating, we really enjoyed our stay and hope to be back!

Quaint historic Dutch cottage on sandy Lake Michigan. Cottage had all the comforts of home with multiple areas for family members to gather. The porch along the lakeside of the cottage was a wonderful space to hang out in the evenings. Kitchen was well equipped with adequate counters and cupboard space to store our food. Hosts were very attentive and responsive.

Great Cottage on Lake Michigan

We enjoyed our week at Seagull Cottage. The weather was great and we took advantage of the sandy beach every day. The cottage had everything we needed. The large porch overlooking the lake was terrific for meals and just relaxing.

Great stay! Amazing beach!

We stayed with our three small kids for two nights and absolutely loved it. The cottage is small but had everything we needed, the online information and description is 100% accurate. The beach is absolutely the draw of this place!!! So much wide open sand, it’s private, not rocky, and the water is about as warm as you can for Lake Michigan. We would definitely stay again!

The Seagull Lodge is a beautiful comfortable cottage right on Lake Michigan.

The Seagull Lodge is a charming cottage that showcases the Dutch heritage of the families who lived here and who have transformed it into a lovely lakeside cottage in modern times. We loved hanging out in the comfortable long porch that faces the lake, the large lawn and beach area. The bright design of the kitchen was well equipped to work in. You can see the lake from every room. We fell asleep to the swishing of the waves crashing onto the shore at night. We took walks on the beach and the wooded lane behind the house, swam in the cold lake water as the waves crashed into us and kayaked when the lake was calm. The kids played for hours where the sand met the water. The shallow beach made it very safe for children. It was a wonderful Lake Michigan experience.

Better than imagined!

Perfect multi family getaway. The beach is super close to the house. The back porch is fully screened in and totally perfect - we ate all our meals out there. You can hear the waves crashing in as you sleep. All the basics and more are provided for and signs and instructions are perfectly clear. 110% satisfied customers!

Varför värden valde detta boende

The Seagull Lodge is located on land that has been in my mother's family since the late 1800's. My husband, son and I are fortunate to be the current owners of this property. Since we are not able to get there as often as we would like, we decided to list our cottage for use by others who, we are certain, will find it as special as we do. Our sons honed their crawling skills on the beach, learned to bike up hills on Smies Road, became strong swimmers by challenging each other to make it to the second sandbar and have spent hour after hour playing in the sand. The four of us (now along with their significant others) continue to gather at the cottage every summer. The Seagull Lodge is a wonderfully peaceful, laid-back, private, and magical place. We are certain you will create your own memories with a stay at our property.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

When I come to the cottage I don't like to leave. For quick trips into town I prefer to bike with my backpack to hold the groceries. I love the natural beauty of our lake and wooded surroundings and relish the peaceful; yet dramatic setting. Long walks on the beach and country roads are a favorite as well as reading, socializing, working on projects, and playing games with family and friends.
