Rymlig ombyggd ranch med promenad ut källaren, 3 sovrum, 1 1/2 bad med extra utomhus het och och dusch! Detta hem ligger vid stranden av Lake Michigan med sandvit strand. Stort kök, vardagsrum med matplats och separat stor matsal. Tvättmaskin och torktumlare finns på bottenvåningen. Köket innehåller, spis, frig, diskmaskin och allt matlagning och matutrustning behövs! Stort utomhusdäck med stor gräsmatta. Jag har precis köpt denna fastighet och genomfört ombyggnaden. Jag hyr också Serenity Beach House i Oostburg vilket är ett större hus, VRBO # 580869. 4-11-18, FINNS I MED EN STOR REHAB! VAD ÄR NYTT? PORCELAIN TILE GOLV I Vardagsrum, matrum, kök och MASTER BATH. NYA APPARATER I KÖK OCH NYA TILLBAKA TOPS. NY EXPANDED MASTER BAD MED HUGE WHIRLPOOL TUB, NYHET VANITY AND TOILET. NYTT LJUS, LUFTFANTER OCH MÅL. NYA MÖBLER. ALLA HOLLOW CORE DOORS BYTE MED SOLIDT TRÄD. Tvättmaskin och torktumlare är nu på första våningen, WALKOUT BASEMENT är nu en BONUS rum med kuper och TV. KING SOVUM FACERAR LAKE WITH MASTER BATH. Vardagsrummet och matrummet har takfläktar, och just installeras central luftkonditionering !!!!!! Du kommer inte hitta ett hus med tre sovrum på sjön med detta mycket vanliga vardagsrum. Köket är rymligt och vardagsrummet och matsalen är enorma. Lägg till promenad ut källaren och det finns massor av levande utrymme och sovrummen är rimligt medelstora. Det finns gott om gräsmöbler samt några inomhus- och utomhusspel. Naturligtvis finns det internet och kabel-tv. På baksidan av fastigheten är vårdtagaren stuga. Vårdtagaren är sällan där men oftast finns det på fredag och lördagskväll om du har några problem.

Comfortable, clean, private beachfront home

This home exceeded our expectations and was even better than the listing and photos describe it! We had everything we could need for cooking, playing games/puzzles, enjoying the beach with beach toys, enjoying the outdoor and indoor wood fireplaces, and just hanging out as a family. The kids enjoyed the huge jetted bathtub too. The rooms are very spacious, and our little guy enjoyed staying in the king bedroom with us on his own pull-out sleeper sofa. The other kids enjoyed the bunk room (four twin beds, bunked) and my in-laws had plenty of space in the queen bedroom. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Tons of closet space and drawer space to put clothes away. The beach was very clean (no seaweed, just fine sand) and even more visible from the house than the photos make it seem. (I was worried the stairs and rock wall looked quite steep, but they were very kid-safe!) We would love to come back again in the summer to enjoy the water even more! Thanks so much!

Knitting Retreat

We had 3 lovely nights and our Wednesday featured a marvelous storm with pounding waves and snow! We lost power for 3 hours in the evening but our host was quick to let us know that repairs in the area were timely. It turned our retreat into sort of a slumber party! The cabin is delightfully spacious and well equipped, and the view out onto that stormy lake was priceless! We're hoping to return late fall.

The best getaway house we’ve stayed in!

My family of three brought my mother-in-law for a Thanksgiving getaway for 3 nights. This house is perfect! Everything is as described and better. The house is cozy and well supplied. The view is amazing at every hour. We enjoyed the fireplace and quiet time and went to Kohler-Andrea for a hike. This is our third time coming to this town for a holiday getaway, and we will definitely be coming back to this house again—the best!

Mid-week getaway

My wife and I were looking for a property where we could still get some work done and enjoy the sights and sounds of the lake. The house checked those boxes and many more. Lovely views, well-kept and stocked house made for a great vacation. Would definitely return.

Brothers Trip 24'

This is an amazing property with a Million Dollar View. Everyone in our party of 5 agrees we'll return when our annual trip brings us North again. Very reasonably priced for the location, and accommodations. Complete amenities from perfect bedding, cooking utensils, outdoor seating, all the way down to firewood for the fire pit. Compliments to the owners.

Beach!

This is a wonderful property. It is very well stocked with everything you might need, comfortable beds, clean and great living space. The backyard is lovely and it was wonderful to have a beach and be able to walk along the beach. Our host provided good instructions and communicated well. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Oostburg vacay

The cottage was wonderful. I have never stayed at a place that was as well stocked with necessities as this one. We had a nice time. Being able to sit on the patio and see Lake Michigan was such a joy. We appreciate the opportunity to stay there. If we return for another vacation I would like to stay at this property.

Awesome Family Time

Loved our time at the American Beauty Beach House. What a wonderful layout. Very private. Has everything your family could want for a relaxing vacation. Lake level was high, which affected being able to walk along the beach from the property, but just a short drive to state park and you had access to miles of beach.

Amazing home and location!

We were absolutely delighted when we arrived at this charming house on the beach! The grandkids had never been on a beach before and were so excited to build sandcastles, chase the waves and simply run on the sand! The cooler water didn’t phase them at all. The bunk beds were also a huge hit with them! The adults had a great time relaxing on the patio, enjoying the sunshine and the views. The kitchen was well stocked, the pots and pans were a much better quality than I am used to seeing in a rental property! We had everything we needed — there was no need to call our host at all! We’ve been home for 2 weeks and the grandkids are asking when we can return. We’ll be back next summer!

Enjoyed our stay

The cottage is exactly as pictured, the location is lovely and the owner is communicative. We stayed there for a long holiday weekend, hiked in the nearby state park, and had a peaceful family weekend. We’d definitely go back.

Long weekend with business in Milwaukee

Perfect property for a long weekend or summer vacation. The weather didn’t cooperate while we were there, but I can imagine campfires and time out in the hammock would have been wonderful if the cold wind and drizzle would’ve kept us indoors. Great kitchen set up. Fun games and movies.

Memorable Getaway

We have a get together every 3-4 years with my cousins from Canada to hang out and have a few laughs. We totally enjoyed staying here and watched the sunrise every morning, sooooo amazing!!! What a gem!

Nearly Perfect!

We've started at numerous rental properties, mostly in SW Michigan, but also a couple in WI. We have yet to come across a fully comfortable stay. This was the first one that had a huge kitchen table, very comfortable family room (at least for the 4 adult humans), open floor plan and beachfront, and allows our fur baby (the highest priority) We plan to go back next year.

Beautiful home with lake views

We found our stay very comfortable and relaxing. House was clean and comfortable. A highlight of our time there was exploring the "game cabinet" and enjoying new games that we had never played! We came at a time when the lake was high and there was no beach, but the lakefront views and sound of the waves was very relaxing. We enjoyed the firepit at night. We went to nearby Kohler-Andrae for several beach days and they had plenty of beautiful sand and a dog friendly area where we relaxed on the beach.

Wild wonderful welcoming Great Lake Michigan

I highly recommend this gem. We were a 3 generation family- something for everyone. The owner was very accommodating and responsive. Beautiful views of the lake from the inside and a lovely deck for meals, reading and generally chilling. Beside the lake - with some sandy beach- a beautiful and spacious lawn. Nothing but positives!

I grew up and currently live and work in the Chicago area. As a kid i spent summer weekends in Door County and loved every minute of it.When I was older I discovered the Oostburg area. An hour and a half closer to home and sand beaches instead of rocks. It was love at first sight. This is my second home in the area that I am renting which I purchased at the very end of 2017. it's on the beach! Single floor living,except for the bonus room in the basement. Big living room and dinning rooms. Large deck and lawn leading to the beach. Outdoor hot and cold shower. Central air conditioning. Rural and peaceful area away from it all.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

The main living room and dining rooms have floor to ceiling windows which give you an uninterrupted view of the lake on one side and the woods on the other. The master bedroom also faces the lake. Huge update taking place this winter. New floors, paint, furnishings, bathroom, and ceiling fans updates. And now we have central air conditioning which almost no other homes on the beach have. Global warming is real and you will be happy to be able to turn the AC on on hot days and nights. Rent now before it's too late!
