Det finns gott om grĂ€smöbler samt nĂ„gra inomhus- och utomhusspel. Naturligtvis finns det internet och kabel-tv. PĂ„ baksidan av fastigheten Ă€r vĂ„rdtagaren stuga. VĂ„rdtagaren Ă€r sĂ€llan dĂ€r men oftast finns det pĂ„ fredag och lördagskvĂ€ll om du har nĂ„gra problem.

We were looking for a pet friendly location with direct beach access and this place did not disappoint! We enjoyed the fire pit every night and playing with the dogs on the beach. We cooked every meal at the property and appreciated the well stocked kitchen, nice appliances, and spaciousness.

I stayed here for my family vacation with my husband and young adult kids. It was wonderful! The view of the lake was spectacular from the house. The house was very clean and organized and definitely enough room for the 5 of us. We also brought our dog which was a plus that dogs are welcome.:) We enjoyed swimming in the lake and walking along the beach. Also the fire pit in the backyard was a bonus at night and really added to our trip. We enjoyed the area as well hiking at the Terry Andrea State Park and eating at some fabulous restaurants. Would stay here again.

Enjoyed our stay

The cottage is exactly as pictured, the location is lovely and the owner is communicative. We stayed there for a long holiday weekend, hiked in the nearby state park, and had a peaceful family weekend. We’d definitely go back.

Cozy Retreat with Beautiful View

Perfect place to get away for a couple of days during the cold winter and enjoy the beautiful water views in front of the fire. Well stocked, clean and very comfortable. I'd definitely stay here again.

Property is right on Lake Michigan and it’s absolutely a beautiful location. We can’t wait to go back next year. Everything as advertised, we also enjoyed a couple of trips to Sheboygan.

This is a wonderful property. It is very well stocked with everything you might need, comfortable beds, clean and great living space. The backyard is lovely and it was wonderful to have a beach and be able to walk along the beach. Our host provided good instructions and communicated well. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Great Lake Michigan view!

Sunrises on the Lake were beautiful through the large picture windows. The house is great and very comfortable, and the area offers a lot. We hiked in Kohler-Andrae, and loved visiting the Kohler Art Center and Art Preserve in Sheboygan.

Relaxing Getaway

The house was clean and had everything we needed to cook our own meals. There were comfy places to gather the family to play games. We enjoyed the fire pit and listening to the waves in the evening. Watching the sunrise over the lake each morning was the best!

Memorable Getaway

We have a get together every 3-4 years with my cousins from Canada to hang out and have a few laughs. We totally enjoyed staying here and watched the sunrise every morning, sooooo amazing!!! What a gem!

2nd trip to this awesome location

We have loved both trips to this amazing property. The lake view is beautiful and the house has everything we need. Our kids were already asking on the drive home when we could go back again. We love how close the house is to Kohler-Andre State Park and Sheboygan. We also made an easy trip this time to Port Washington and Lions Den Gorge. Highly recommend!

Great property that never disappoints!

This was our 4th time renting this lake house and we are truly in love with this place. The beds are great - we sleep like babies with the good linens and the sound of the waves. The outdoor deck, grills, fire-pit, warm outdoor shower, landscaping, birds, etc. are wonderful - we spend most of our time out there. On the occasional rainy day there are plenty of games, puzzles, and a well appointed kitchen for indoor cooking. Owner is highly responsive to any questions. Highly recommend!

Lake Home

A fun stay for our family. A nice property with plenty of amenities. The spacious front windows overlook the lake with waves constantly rolling in and out. It was a bit chilly, but we were able to enjoy the deck midday with some sunshine. Lots of room inside for the kids to play with toys and games. The kitchen is well equipped with plenty of counter space, nice stove and a great selections of cookware. A paved bike trail is nearby in Oostburg along with a popular bakery. Bookworm gardens are a must for families with small children. Highly recommend a stay here!

Private Getaway

This property is located on a private and quiet location, 1 mile off the highway on Lake Michigan. Everything about this retreat was amazing. We were able to bring our bullie, which made the kids happy that we didn’t have to kennel him. We celebrated Thanksgiving as a family and we had all the kitchen supplies we needed. We also had ample towels and toilet paper, garage bags. I have stayed at many places that do not supply these things, so this was a bonus. We enjoyed the natural fireplace every night. While the guys watched football, I was nested on the couch with my favorite book. Thank you for a relaxing weekend for my family and I. We hope to visit again soon! Ps. Oostburg bakery was amazing, thank you for the suggestion.

Perfect Location

Last minute spring break with my husband and 7-yr old and 5 yr old. It was the perfect location, super quite and well maintained. My 2 dogs also came. The house was comfy and the town is Oostburg was really friendly. It was cold and rainy, so we did the childrens museum in Sheboygan one day and my kids loved it. We walked around another day, and although cold and a bit rainy, it was still fun. It was nice to get away and we will definitely be going back. My only word of caution is that the Wi-Fi and LTE connections aren’t great. It made streaming difficult. There was a selection of dvds available, but we made a quick stop to a Redbox to get more recent movies.

Great family spot

The property was exactly as pictured and described, spotless and well-organized. Bedroom super comfy, kitchen nice and well-stocked. Right on the lake. 25 min from Kettle Moraine North Unit. Loved the huge whirlpool bathtub and wood-burning fireplace. I very much appreciated how the host went the extra mile in finishing touches. The kitchen had about 15 different spices, canola oil, olive oil, pepper and sea salt grinders, oven mitts, a mixer, every kind of pot and pan, loads of aluminum foil, plastic wrap, cookbooks, you name it. Laundry room was stocked up the same way. 2 hair dryers in the bathroom. Great selection of books and DVDs, and games. Really thoughtful presentation. Will definitely be back.

Loved the beach just steps from the house. The living space was very open and cozy, plenty of space for a big family. The kitchen was well stocked and organized. Our kids loved the bunk room and having their own Jack and Jill bathroom right off the bedroom. We will definitely be back!

I grew up and currently live and work in the Chicago area. As a kid i spent summer weekends in Door County and loved every minute of it.When I was older I discovered the Oostburg area. An hour and a half closer to home and sand beaches instead of rocks. It was love at first sight. This is my second home in the area that I am renting which I purchased at the very end of 2017. it's on the beach! Single floor living,except for the bonus room in the basement. Big living room and dinning rooms. Large deck and lawn leading to the beach. Outdoor hot and cold shower. Central air conditioning. Rural and peaceful area away from it all.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

The main living room and dining rooms have floor to ceiling windows which give you an uninterrupted view of the lake on one side and the woods on the other. The master bedroom also faces the lake. Huge update taking place this winter. New floors, paint, furnishings, bathroom, and ceiling fans updates. And now we have central air conditioning which almost no other homes on the beach have. Global warming is real and you will be happy to be able to turn the AC on on hot days and nights. Rent now before it's too late!
