Detta hem är 2800 kvadratmeter med underbara hårda trägolv, vackert inredda och ligger inbäddat i ett lugnt område precis perfekt för att sitta på verandan och njuta av kvällens bris. Rummen är generösa och det finns tvättmöjligheter i sikte. En öppen spis finns för kyliga höst- och vinterkvällar och på våren och sommaren är Lake Isabella och Kern River bara några minuter bort för utomhusskötsel. Det är en lugn semester året runt. (Det stora sovrummet har en kung i Kalifornien, det andra sovrummet har en drottning, två fulla och en enkelsäng. Det tredje sovrummet har en queen size-säng.)

Exceed my expectations!

My family and friends got together for a weekend getaway to Kern River this summer. This property is excellent. It’s very clean, huge kitchen, and spacious living room. We enjoyed our stay very much and I would love to return again in the future.

Perfect spot for a larger group near lake and river

Went to the lake, water rafting, and trail of 100 giants with 7 adults and 5 kids and this property was perfect. Tamra was quick to respond. The location was close to the lake and water rafting. And property was clean. Updated. And had everything we needed.

Kern River fun

Big rooms, really huge. Lots of privacy. The kitchen and the fenced yard worked well for us and our dogs. TV is bigger than ours at home! We had more beds and space than we needed, which was perfect for us.

Rafting Adventure

We had a great time rafting on the Kern river and ended the day staying at this spacious house that accommodated 2 families easily. It had great amenities and was very dog friendly.

Perfect Home for the Family

Where can I begin, this home is perfect for a quick get away to the Lake. This is a beautiful, well maintained home with enormous room. We were shocked how big this house spanned. Tamra was an courteous host, very attentive to my messages. Everything about this home was oversized, amazing kitchen. No need to bring towels, pots or pans, this house has you covered. Minutes away from any access point to the kern river and lake Isabella. Walking distance to a liquor and even walking distance to the cool silver city ghost town. Can not stress this enough, perfect quick getaway home for staying by a river or lake. We are always talking about coming back when the weather gets hotter. Thank you Tamra.

Perfect home for a Big family

We had a lovely stay here. It’s pet and child friendly! Nice fenced outside yard for dogs to go potty safely( a huge help)! Walking distance to a small general store. And minutes away from town. They have a grocery outlet and vons. This is a great place to go take many hikes bikes or any atvs! Sooo many trails for everyone! And the hot springs aren’t barely 10 minutes away 😍 we would stay there again!

We were so happy with this beautiful home. The kitchen was so spacious and clean, and we had fun cooking food for the whole family. I would definitely recommend this house for large family with kids to stay here while visiting Kern River.

Great find!

We had a great time at this hidden gem in Bodfish. We were close to shops, the lake and restaurants in town. The home was very nice, cool and comfortable. We enjoyed our time and it was very pet friendly. We had 12 people in the house and we were more than comfortable!

Well-kept, comfortable home near Lake Isabella

The house was very comfortable with large rooms and plenty of beds. The house had everything we needed for a great weekend near the lake. There isn’t much in Bodfish, but the lake is close and Tamra was incredibly flexible, responsive, and helpful in suggesting where to go.

Amazing experience

My family and i had a blast. The house was big and every one had their own bed. The owner was helpful on making sure we had a good time and things were good in the house. Wasnt loud at all and we went on 4th of July. I will be coming back again soon

Perfect Family Retreat

Lots of room in this beautiful home. You feel welcomed from the minute you enter the front door. Oversized rooms, comfortable beds and anything you could possibly need in "Your home away from home". Neighborhood is quite, walking distance to local convenience store. Only 5-7 mins to Lake Isabella and some bigger store options. The owners have thought of everything, even your fur babies! We totally overpacked and won't make that mistake again😁. I started communicating with Tamara (owner), before we left for our vacation. She is very sweet and easy to communicate with. Absolutely would come back again!
