Location location

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This location is far from everything and the seaweed is really bad. It smells so bad on this part of the island.

Milestone Birthday

Very happy we chose the location of this property away from Duval. It offered so much more space and amenities than similar priced places with little rooms, 1 bath, no parking kitchen and noisy. 2 nice beach areas on both sides of this property

Great Place for Family

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Blue Moonshine! The condo was clean, spaciously and very comfortable for our family of 4! Check in was very ease and the ocean view was great! We will definitely keep this condo in mind for any future stays in KW!

Clean, remodeled, plenty of space! A very nice tropical garden in the courtyard on the walk to the pool. We loved it this place.

Key West 3 nights

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit was beautiful, love the granite countertops, the blue up lighting was super cool. The balcony was large with a distant view of the ocean. The beds were super comfortable in the shower in the master was absolutely huge with two rain showers and two regular showers. I absolutely loved the sauna in the bathroom near the pool. The gym was so so a little bit disappointing Little dated equipment. The pool was huge and so relaxing with a beautiful view of the ocean. The sauna was very nice too just super hot lol. I was not quite a fan of Key West in general however, the condo made the stay. The only con was the access to the Internet in the room was spotty at Best and we couldn’t even watch the TVs after the first night. We reset the router and it just wouldn’t work.. It was nice having a washer and dryer in the room and they supply lots of towels. I miss the bed already. It was super comfy. The trees and flowers in the courtyard were absolutely luscious and beautiful. Smathers beach was a huge disappointment, smelly and seaweed, gross stagnant water.

Beautiful location

Beautiful location right on the water! The place was extremely clean; I was very pleased when we arrived. Check in process was seamless. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It is not on the busy path by Duvall Street, but everything within biking distance. Great stay!

Key West trip

This was are first time to Key West and we loved this unit it was so clean and had everything we needed and the beds were so comfortable!! The location was great because we took an uber to get places and it was 5 minutes from Duval and Front street where the shops and restaurants are!!

Blue Moonshine

Very clean and nicely updated condo. Top floor location which makes it awesome to sit out on the porch and have drinks while watching the great water views. Very quite complex. Pool is huge and tons of open space to lounge. The kitchen, family room and bedrooms were all updated and very nicely decorated. Very happy with our choice.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great place to stay. A quiet place to stay, a short walk to Mather’s beach, but a quick drive to Duval and all places in Key West. The condo was great, clean, up to date amenities. It has legitimate ocean views from both bedrooms and the balcony, what a great place for morning coffee and happy hour. Check in was easy, just read the email of how to do it.

We had a fabulous time. The condo was exactly like described. Large rooms and great balcony. Distant view of the ocean from the balcony. Everything very clean and no issues. Fantastic pool and very hot Hot tube right on the beach. Walking distance to Smathers Beach. Fully functional kitchen. We cooked several meals. Can't wait to book again.

Key West Getaway

Overall the condo was a good choice for a short stay. Off the beaten path, so definitely needed transportation to get anywhere. Photos of property "beach" were very misleading and disappointing, not just for us but other guests we met. No privacy from room to room because of slated doors, so just be aware. Housekeeper arrived over half hour before checkout. All in all, we were thankful for the opportunity to vacation here!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Blue Moonshine was an excellent choice to stay. Condo facilities were really nice and clean. The grounds were beautiful. It is a great location with Key West sites and restaurants easily accessible. I would almost rate it a perfect 10 but for one issue: The king size bed in the master suite is not comfortable. That's the only detractor but it did leave an unfavorable impression.

Red Ants Infestation

The property was clean enough upon arrival but the next day the kitchen counter was covered with little red sugar ants. I even found one on my daughter’s shirt when she was just sitting on the couch. Both her and I were bit by the red ants and the bites are very painful and itchy.
