Helt nya 3 sovrum, 3 badrum hem steg från stranden och floden. Denna vackra strandiga chic hem är fylld med alla nya möbler och vintage inredning. Den öppna planlösningen och det nya köket har underhållning för vuxna och separat utrymme för barn. Allt detta hela gör att huset på 1520 kvm lever ännu större. Med 2 master sviter både med privata badrum, 1 standard sovrum och en drottning drottning i vardagsrummet, det gör för en perfekt familjeåterförening eller en vän getaway.
Uppfart för lätt 2-4 bil + parkering
Det finns 4 vackra 600 sq ft däck som ger bra utrymme för underhållande, sola och koppla av. Takdäck för endast vuxna - Solbränna, stargazing. Det finns också en gasgrill för grillar.
Mindre än 100 meter från stranden och tre kvarter från floden, värd vackra solnedgångar.

Inbäddat på en barriärö bara 60 steg till Atlanten i öster och en 5 minuters promenad till Intercoastal Waterway på väst. En 20 minuters bilresa till PGAs hem på TPC Sawgrass, och en 2. 5 timmars bilresa till Disney World

A perfect place for a family get together!

We had an amazing 3-night getaway at this home for our family reunion in St. Augustine—6 adults and one pup. The location is unbeatable, just steps from the beach path!The house was spotless and fully stocked with everything we needed to feel at home. John, the host, was quick to respond and helpful with anything we needed.As a Travel Advisor, I’ll absolutely be recommending this property to my clients.Just a heads-up: all bedrooms are on the second floor, so it may not be ideal for guests with mobility issues.

Vilano Beach

The house is in a great location for the beach. Just walk across the 2-lane Coastal Hwy. Rarely stand there over a minute waiting for an opening to cross. The house is good. My only issue was the inside spiral staircase. We were up and down it ALOT going to and from the kitchen and living room. One of my dogs also had an issue going up and down it. Overall great vacation.

Great place, great time and great freinds!

We enjoyed our stay at the Beach House in Vilano Beach. The property was just as described. John was very responsive to any questions or inquires. If we are back in the area we will definitely keep this place in mind. The beach was very close and the price was right!

Beach getaway

We stayed for 6 days, house was perfect. It was clean, had everything we needed. It is right across the street from the beach!! Plenty of decks and outdoor space. It was lovely!! We brought our lab with us and she loved it also!! Would definitely recommend staying here!!

Summer Vacation

We loved the chill vibe of the house and all the beach equipment that’s included. There’s a footpath over the dunes at the end of the street that’s very convenient. We hope to make another trip back to stay here again!

Family vacay

Plenty of room and supplies for all of us! Easy walk to the beach! John was very good with communication. Showed up a few times to cut grass/ spray for bugs. Was a little shocking because we were expecting it, but it needed done! Would stay again.

A wonderful holiday stay

This clean, lovely beach house was the ideal size for our group of 4 adults, 2 children, and 1 pet. We all appreciated the separate sitting/entertainment areas on each floor, and most especially the 3 full bathrooms on the bedroom level. Having the beach just a few steps away was fantastic (although busy A1A does have to be crossed), and the river at the other end of the quiet street was nice for sunsets (also easy to view from the top deck). The changeable winter weather kept us from enjoying the outside decks and porches as often as we would have liked, but the house was very well supplied with books, puzzles, games, and 2 large TVs for rainy-day entertainment. There were also lots of beach toys that the kids had fun using (many sand castles were constructed). The home decor was coastal, comfortable, and pet-friendly. Most of the furniture had washable covers, and surfaces were easy to clean. The kitchen was well-equipped and having a full-sized washer and dryer was very convenient.Perhaps the only thing I might mention is that the house would be difficult for someone with mobility challenges because of the stairs. But we had a great visit and I would love to stay there again.

Delightful spot

We found this house comfortable and attractive. Lots of good places to relax. John was a good host—very responsive to a few minor appliance issues. Very close to beach in a nice neighbourhood, if a bit noisy grime the A1A so close.

Comfortable Beach House

Well located close to the beach. All the essentials are provided as well as many beach items (towels, chairs, toys, kayak, etc.).Large washer and dryer. Plenty of hot water. Several covered porches with comfortable furniture.

Great beach house

We had a great, relaxing family vacation here. The beach access was super easy and close by. The house was stocked with all the necessities. The beds were very comfortable too. Our favorite part of the house was all of the great porches, some in the sun, some in the shade. Would definitely stay here again.

Great house, great location !

What a great place to stay. The house has a great kitchen and really comfortable bedrooms but the decks really make it. We really enjoyed sitting out. It is so close to the beach and not far from town. It was a pleasure dealing with John. I would highly recommend!!

Great place

This was a great place for our family of 5, including our high school & college aged kids. The beach access is very close. The Reef restaurant is our favorite and also very close. Publix grocery store also very close. This is a great place for family to stay - very quiet neighborhood and lots of decks to hang out on. Great communication with the owner. Thanks!

Perfect location, plenty of room for family

We really enjoyed our stay. Access to the beach was close, just as advertised. Having 3 bedrooms and 3.5 baths was perfect for our party of six. We had a busy trip with deep sea fishing and surf camp for our children. The cleaning crew did miss a couple of details before our arrival. Cleaning supplies and other thoughtful staples provided by the owner made it easy enough to address ourselves.

Short vacation

Loved it overall, probably should have thought twice about property with spiral staircase ( little old and broken to be going up and down those ) that’s on us though. Just a couple things both minor. The threshold pieces need to be be better secured at the doorways a couple are loose we tend to drag our feet and almost tripped on them. Be clearer property is across the street from beach, not that much farther and not a big deal. Some pictures need updating as well. Had a great time overall and personally recommend Vilano 180 bar and grill for dining, they have some unique offerings (very tasty, good service).

Hanging Out Like the Locals!

We found this wonderful home when we were looking for a beach stay while we attended a concert at the St. Augustine Amphitheater (which is an incredible venue!). We loved the front porch for reading in the evenings, and the back porch for breakfast and lazy mornings. Three bedrooms, three baths on the upper floor. Kitchen, dining, half bath on ground level. Our host, John, was always accommodating and quick to make us feel at home. The neighborhood was lovely for walking our dog. Our favorite evening routine became watching the sunset over the river at Aunt Kate's and walking back home. Crossing A1A is the only difficulty (warning to be very cautious, especially with children in tow) to get on the beach immediately. We enjoyed every sunrise and several moon-lit nights - as well as the uncrowded days. Once you set foot over the dunes, the only sound is the pounding of the waves. The interior staircase is a spiral. The exterior staircase was sometimes easier for us to navigate (with a stair challenged rescue dog and my arthritic knee) - but it was great to have both options available. Also the beach is reached by two sets of stairs - not deep and both with handrails. We loved our visit and would enjoy staying there again!

Far enough away, but close enough to everything.

Due to weather not cooperating as much as we would have liked, we stayed inside more than we wanted. However, as soon as the weather broke, we discovered a quiet beach (a 5 second walk across the street) full of shells, downtown St. Augustine (5min drive), which had wonderful shops and restaurants, and we also enjoyed a wonderful walk over the waterway bridge (by Publix, which is only 2 minutes away). The home itself had everything one could need while staying there. Although the one thing we opted to get was some bottled water because the city water is not that great tasting. A spiral staircase is your main "up and down" within the house between the floors, so just be aware of that. Unless you're handicapped it is perfectly fine. My 75 year old mother had no problems with it. However, if you so choose, there is a regular staircase on the front/outside of the house which takes you to the upper floor as well. Thanks John for your hospitality and also your prompt response to our questions while there!

Amazing little gem with real beach cottage character!

I fell in love with this property from the moment I walked in! If you are looking for something with a little funky character, yet beautifully updated and modern, then this is the best place on Vilano Beach. This home was so much more than I expected when I looked at the pictures online, and packs a much bigger punch than you would expect when you consider the price. The outside of the home doesn't do the inside justice. There was so much room here, and each room was beautifully renovated. To help you understand the flow of the home, if you walk into the bottom level, there is a kitchen, eating area, a small living room, a half bath and a wonderfully funky deck that we enjoyed each morning and evening. Up the spiral staircase are 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a nice sized living room. There are really 2 master bedrooms upstairs, each with its own bathroom and each having access to another very nice porch on the second floor. From the second floor porch, you can access a third floor porch, which has pretty views. While some new construction right in front of the home has made the ocean view a little less visible, the house truly is only 60 steps away from the beach. Crossing the road to the beach access was very easy, and the road was not as busy as it can be at some other beaches. We were there over a weekend, and the beach was not crowded at all, likely because there is no public beach parking close by. The owner, John, was great to work with! I had several questions, and he responded quickly and was very helpful. The house was wonderfully equipped, with absolutely everything you would want to have, with the exception of shampoo, soap in the shower and of course, fresh food in the refrigerator (although there was bottled water and some condiments when we stayed there). John also had some boogie boards, beach chairs and surf boards available at the home for you to take to the beach. I've never stayed in a VRBO that was so well equipped. There is also a new Publix grocery store just a few minutes down the road, so it is very easy to get anything you need. It was also very easy to get to St. Augustine from the house, and we found that the home was wonderfully located for a relaxing beach stay, yet close enough to the attractions that you didn't have to drive far. One thing I know for sure is that the next time I go to Vilano Beach, I am going to be contacting John about staying in his house again!
