Om boendet

Detta är ett unikt, avskilt husdjursvänligt strandhus. Det ligger på en dubbel fastighet (stor trädgård) omgiven av casuarina träd, bort från bostadsgator och uppflugen på Broulee huvudet med utsikt över havet. Detta är en original 1950-strandhus med en 6-brännare Ilve spis + ugn, en stor Rennai gasvärmare, en stor Sony TV, en stor familj kylskåp, tvättmaskin och torktumlare, och en vacker eldstad. Den har utsikt från verandan och köket i norr till Broulee Bay. Tre olika stränder ligger inom gångavstånd (100/150 meter). Det finns magiska stigar ut bakgrinden genom busken till Shark Bay (150 meter), en avskild nästan akvarieliknande vik, ett halvöskyddat naturreservat (400 meter) och två surfstränder (Broulee syd 100 meter norr Broulee 500 meter). Du får total tystnad förutom fåglarna (och det enstaka planet som flyger till Moruya flygplats 10 km söderut). Det finns ett bra café med fantastiskt kaffe och frukost / lunch på Mossy Point 3 km norr (en 20 min promenad längs stranden). Fantastisk middag på The River Restaurant i Moruya 10kms i söder.

The shack is very cozy and located in the headland elevated above Broulee. I really enjoyed the way Rick styled the property, and the kitchen is well equipped. The indoor fire, huge deck, large yard surrounded by trees makes the property a really relaxing place to spend time and a good base for exploring the surrounding beaches.

Beautiful views and lovely location

I loved the location and the property itself. A huge tree filled block with views overlooking North Broulee beach. A short bush walk down to shark bay and around to South Broulee. Rick was also very helpful and responsive.

A Tranquil Treat

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this headland beach house! Smooth communication with the host, huge safely fenced yard for our pup to roam in, and lovely be among the trees.

Really lovely spot

Up on the headland with very few neighbours (who were all both friendly and unobtrusive), this place was great for a week long relax. The huge deck offers a wonderful view of the waters off Broulee's main beach. Our host was a great communicator, offering us all the info we needed at the right time.

Beautiful location

The best thing was upstairs, the view, the birds and the garden. It was just having only one toilet downstairs and the actual downstairs area was very dark and cold. (a little scary for kids). We also forgot to bring bed linen and towels (which aren't included) which made things tough. But being a nature lover, I loved it. You'll just need to bring a lot of condiments etc. sauces, oil etc. And coffee, milk etc.

Broulee Headland House

A house with a beautiful view. An excellent location, with easy access to nature walks and beaches. Colourful bird life. Very well equipped kitchen with good stove. Relaxed atmosphere. We had a great holiday and would like to return some time.

A stunning property

We loved this property. The block is huge with a big lawn shaded by casuarinas, great for lazing outside, admiring the view of the sea and playing with the dogs. The house is small but comfortable and nicely decorated. The location is unbeatable, close to the surf beach, the island and shark bay and a huge dog-friendly beach at South Broulee.

Even better than last year. Choice of beaches, birds that call to you, water views from the expanded deck, and the surf club fish'n'chips'n'pizza now open just down the hill.

Headland haven

We loved our stay. The house is in a stunning location on the headland with loads of lovely walks all around. It is an older style beach house which we loved. A large garden and deck kept our dogs very happy. And the owner was helpful and easy to communicate with. Highly recommended.

Excellent property at a beautiful location

We had a fabulous stay at Broulee. Rick is an amazing host. The house was very neat and spacious to accomodate three generations and two dogs. The view from the deck is breathtaking. We look forward to return to Broulee at this accomodation.

Beautiful setting

This property is located in a beautiful, tranquil spot on the headland. Beach views and lots of gorgeous birds/ wildlife. Amazing access to a range of beaches, bike paths and walks. Rick was an accomodating host, very responsive to feedback reading a dampness issue in the property after the all the rain in the region.
