Picture a Balinese resort, with your own pool, tennis court and other amenities - only this place is only 1.5 hours drive away from Sydney.Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Incredible property

Simply one of the best properties we have stayed at. The outlook from the house over the private lake is just amazing, and the amenities and activities at the property will keep everyone busy for days. Just amazing.

Perfect place for a getaway

Oasis in the hunter!

The property grounds are beautiful, and the house itself is super spacious, enough room for 10 adults (inc. 2x couples) to have their own space. Really well equipped kitchen, and while there is no reception from about 100m from the turnoff on the road, the wifi in the house is really strong. Would 100% book again!

Nothing but exceptional

You couldn't fault the hosts, house or the surrounding grounds. Even though we would've loved to experience the location on a sunny day, which it lends itself well too, the common areas and balcony were ideal for such conditions. We can't wait to visit again!

AMAZING

AMAZING doesn't do The Quarry Retreat justice. Our family had the most wonderful time, we didn't want to leave. This place has absolutely EVERYTHING. This is hands down the best place we have ever stayed at. We can't wait to go back. Tracy was also a pleasure to interact with, a most wonderful host. If anyone is thinking of booking The Quarry Retreat, DO IT, you will NOT regret it. I've been telling anyone that will listen just how perfect it is.

Perfect weekend away with friends

My friends and I spent a weekend at Quarry Retreat and had a great time. For 12 people there was plenty of space for us over the weekend. Property facilities were perfectly geared to large groups with a variety of activities such as tennis, pool, table tennis and bikes. Communication with the property was always prompt and friendly. Would definitely look to stay again in the summer months and make the most of the pool and outdoor area.

BEAUTIFUL PLACE

THE PROPERTY WAS GREAT FOR US ALL. PLENTY OF ROOM. GREAT AMENITIES AND BEDDING. FANTASTIC POOL, TENNIS COURT ETC. WE HAD GREAT WEATHER ALSO. THE KITCHEN AND LOUNGE COMBINED GREAT FOR ENTERTAINING AND CATHCING UP WITH FRIENDS. AND GOOD FOR WALKS AND SEEING THE WILDLIFE WAS LOVELY AND THE QUITENESS OF THE AREA. A Perfect Hidden Getaway

We recently stayed at The Quarry Retreat with friends for a low-key 50th birthday celebration. With 10 of us in total (4 adults with 6 kids ranging from 9yrs to 17yrs). You could easily say it was like having your own private resort. The house is lovely, with plenty of things to keep everyone entertained, and space to escape for some solitude when the kids have had enough of each other. Beautiful east facing deck to watch the sunrise over the private lake. Comfy beds, aircon, ceiling fans and well stocked pantry essentials including pod nespresso coffee, or plunger coffee if that's what you prefer. We spent hours in the pool, and played tennis into the night. Pool towels, tennis rackets, balls etc are included. If you are visiting with small children, the pool is not next to the house, but as there is an undercover area beside it with a fridge, sink, shower and toilet, you can keep your food and drinks cool there for the day. It felt slightly heated too so was perfect for an early morning dip. My son was ecstatic that there was a basketball hoop (not in the listing) so that was a bonus. Great pool table too. It was nice to "switch off" with no phone reception, wifi and Netflix access was great. Resident water dragon visits the deck in the afternoon, and wallaby in the early morning or dusk.I would suggest a little more shelving available in the bedroom wardrobes, but not essential for short stays.Tracy and Brad are very responsive. Thanks for a great stay!
