Easy dog-friendly Launceston stay

Penfold Cottage is clean, well-maintained and spacious. A great place to use as a base with our dog.

The house was well furnished. The bed and couches were very comfortable. The kitchen had nearly everything required for a stay when cooking.

Post Overland Hike

We stayed here after we walked the Overland Track. Comfortable, large home walking distance to restaurants at the Port.

Family funeral interstate

This house was perfect for us to stay midweek for a family funeral. It was very spacious, comfortable and absolutely clean. It was very conveniently located only minutes from the city centre and suited us perfectly.

Great place to stay!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Penfold Cottage. Everything you need for a relaxing stay! Clean & tidy, convenient and is a quick trip to the city. We had two small dogs with us and was no problem. Would recommend to anyone!

Launceston magic

We ( grandparents, mum , dad & 3 boys came for national school track & field championships. Location was great, close to city, parks & not far from competing stadium. However being in a light industrial area the noise of trucks & one night a street racer was not greatly for sleeping. The cottage was comfortable for such a large number. Would hire again.

Clean bright and well maintaned, good facilities. My only suggestion would be to install a section of timber quad or similar to the bathroom floor entrance as i did trip on entry however was able to avoid a collsion with the shower screen. Thankyou for your hospitality.

Pet friendly

It’s hard to find pet friendly stays, and when you do they are often dodgy. Not this one. Very clean, pet friendly, simple and comfortable.

Beds were extremely hard ,lots of traffic noise

The house was old but over all pretty good .The beds were extremely hard and the noise of the traffic the whole night was very bad . We had minimal sleep which didnt give us a great experience whilst staying there .
