Cute cabin. Very private. Well equipped. Owner responded to messages fairly quickly. Floor clean, kitchen clean, linens clean, toilet clean; Lot's of owner's stuff tucked in corners, fridge/ freezer had a lot of owner's items in it, cabin has a musty smell, wood smoke smell (sorta to be expected), very dusty: furniture surfaces, under furniture, corners, a lot of dog hair, (dog blankets on the sofa w/ hair on it, 2 baby mattresses in the master bedroom around the bed w/ dog hair on it, cushion in window of master bedroom w/ dog hair on it) a good bit of ashes left in the fireplace, damp linens in the washer, bath tub had slimy soap scum where the shower curtain lays against the tub, satellite tv did not work, internet not strong enough to stream on the smart TV, but was able to stream off of our laptop, grass was cut, but grounds were not well kept, random stuff lying in overgrown ?flower beds / gardens?, fishing pond much smaller than it appears in picture. Did not fish in it. We have stayed in at least 50 cabins. We live right at the Smoky Mountains in what I would call "cabin country". We've stayed in many pet friendly cabins and never had a problem. From the moment we got there, my husband's allergies started acting up. We were supposed to stay 6 nights Wed to Tues. By day 3 we had to start him on steroids. It honestly felt like we were intruding on someone's everyday house. We notified owner on Sunday that we were leaving due to my husband's allergies.
