Yurt sjöss, Moruya Heads

Yurt-by-Sea är ett unikt, vackert och rymligt tvåvånings hus som är byggt med 22 sidor. Det har fyra sovrum, ett stort vardagsrum, ett och ett halvt badrum, fantastisk, privat uppvärmd utomhusdusch, ett fridfullt däck och ett härligt block. Det ligger inbäddat bokstavligen inom några minuters promenad från en stor surfa strand, flera mindre stränder och den magnifika Moruya floden (det är på en halvö). Det är fantastiskt för simning, fiske, strand och buske promenader och bara slappna av. Det är lugnt och lugnt men ändå bara 15 minuters bilresa till Moruya, som har en vacker golfbana och kända marknader. Whale, dolphin (Surf Beach är aptitligt namngiven Dolphin Beach) och tätning titta är tillgängliga från huvudet och stränderna.

Vardagsrummet är hela översta nivån på huset med många områden och bekväma soffor; en stor matplats, öppet kök och tillgång till däck med en vacker utsikt över trädgården till naturreservatet bakom. Nedervåningen finns fyra stora sovrum, badrum och tvättstuga (båda med toaletter) och tillgång till den fantastiska utomhusdusch.

Ta med eget lakan och handdukar; doonor, kuddar och madrassskydd alla tillhandahållna.

Ta en tre minuters promenad längs en härlig buskeväg genom nationalparken till oförskämd Shelley Beach, vandra runt på vallmarken för att se migrationen av valar eller de bosatta sälarna skryta eller meander till Dolphin Beach. Om du kopplar av eller det vackra utomhus är inte tillräckligt, finns det ett lokalt kafé med stor kaffe en fem minuters promenad bort.

Perfect seaside get-away

This yurt had everything we could want: well-equipped, comfortable beds, excellent location near the beaches, lots of space, quiet location. We would definitely come here again.

Peaceful with lots of space

Our adult family loved the space, tranquillity and vibe. We went walking to the headland and beaches every day and made use of the well-equipped kitchen. It had everything we needed.

Quiet, spacious, colourful Yurt by Sea

This is a lovely distinctively furnished house, ideal for couples, singles or a family. It’s a modern 2 storey yurt a short walk from several beaches.

the house was spacious, bedrooms downstairs, and living room on top with well equipped kitchen.

We were 4 women artists ranging in age from 60 - 86. We found the entry to the house down a slippery slope difficult with luggage and felt that there should be steps cut into the slope to provide a safer entry and exit. The bedside light I had in my room was inadequate for reading in bed. We enjoyed the proximity to the beach and were able to have lovely walks close to the house.

A wonderful getaway.

The yurt was a great place for friends to spend a weekend. We cooked all our meals in the kitchen (with produce from the local Saturday farmers market) and all the kitchen basics were there as well as a great selection of pots/pans/knives etc. During the day we walked down to the beach and swam with a dolphin. We had the beach mostly to ourselves. Thanks Carolyn for such a comfortable and thoughtful property in a beautiful location. We really loved our stay.

A peaceful paradise.

This is our 3rd stay at the yurt so that should say how much we enjoy the accommodation and the beautiful area. Just relax at the beautiful beaches or take a walk, or drive to many of the lovely coastal towns.

Great location with plenty of room.

A great house with plenty of room. One bathroom was a bit tricky with the 6 of us. The outdoor shower is great but we didn’t get to use it as we had rainy weather. Beds were comfy.

A beautiful peaceful place to stay.

This is our second stay at Yurt by sea and we loved it. Such a peaceful and relaxing place to stay with a short walk to amazing beaches. The yurt is unique and very cosy. A perfect stay before having to return to the craziness of the world at the moment.

Great escape for the family

We loved this place. Really enjoyed the open space at the top of the property, there is no internet, which suited us as we needed to escape. We introduced the kids to DVDs and had family time for a change in front of the tv. Close to the beach and bushland. Couldn't pass going to Moruya markets for donuts and pizza. Thank you, we look forward to another visit.

Excellent Property

What a beautiful property! Delightful, spacious, clean and very comfortable . Only three minutes walk to the beach surrounded by lovely bush. Very unique being a yurt. Loved the spacious living room with the light reflecting through the coloured cupola . Extremely chilled, comfortable and homely.
