Great, comfortable Stay

A great, quiet, self contained cottage to enjoy a comfortable stay. The wood fire was a real treat on the colder days and nights. I would recommend this accommodation.

This property would have to be one of the best I have stayed in

This will definitely be my "go to" accommodation when I am next in the area. Absolutely perfect except for a bit of early morning highway noise.

Idyllic Retreat

We couldn't have asked for a lovelier place to stay. Quick and easy to get to off the highway, quiet and restful. Handy to everything we needed. Warm and cosy inside, and very pretty gardens outside.

Hidden gem

Located well - close to Ulverstone with all amenities, shops, services. Had intended kayaking as property backs onto river but too windy. House very comfy with lots of space (inside & out).

Very comfortable three-bedroom one bathroom cottage in convenient location for our needs. Lovely garden. Warm host-initiated assistance during brief district wide electricity outage. Undercover parking for our hire car. Excellent open plan self-catering kitchen and loungeroom. Cozy slow combustion wood fireplace with precut timber.

Beauty and tranquility

A beautiful house, really interesting features, quiet, everything we needed and more. The garden and grounds are spectacular and we had the privilege of all the spring blooms. A great place to stay for multiple days and use as a base on NW coast.

Cosy comfy warm

My 2nd stay & just as good as the 1st. Andrea is a great host, very thoughtful and the property is clean cost comfy and warm. The fireplace was on to welcome us to warm check-in. Bonus packet of Tim Tams in the fridge, thank you

Comfort Plus

Having stayed before I knew to expect a terrific experience, but this time……the owners outdid themselves…..on a cold wet day I was greeted with a blazing warm wood fire with tranquil music playing filling the air with luxury. A Freddo Frog in the fridge topped it off……sure will be staying again

Quaint and peaceful getaway

Lovely grounds in secluded location. Quaint basic but comfortable accommodation. Liked the corrugated iron and timber interior cladding. Would benefit from heat pump air conditioning for hot weather cooling and instant warmth when cool. Would have appreciated some small occasional tables beside settee and arm chairs for nibbles and drinks and a couple of table lamps for cosy ambient lighting. Constructive feedback we hope.
