Detta rum har en stor 6 fot x 4 fot fönster för utsikt över havet ocksÄ, dessutom en annan 6 fot x 2 fot fönster för bergsutsikt. Huset har 7 separata skjutdörrar för att kapitalisera den fantastiska havsutsikten. Detta hem passerade bara det slutliga inspektionen sÄ alla apparater som stort kylskÄp, spis, mikrovÄgsugn, tvÀttmaskin / torktumlare etc. och möbler Àr helt nya. Beautiful views. Saw some whales!

Property was very nice. We saw whales in the bay. Sunsets were phenomenal. Drive in was a little crazy, but once there, it was beautiful. We were out most of the day, so it wasn't a big deal, but there was active construction going on next door during our visit. Also, the mosquitoes were no joke. Strongly recommend bringing both spray and candles if you plan on eating outside.

Oceanfront retreat

Was a great choice for our stay in Hawaii! The oceanfront views were a spectacular way to start and end our days, soaking in the beauty of the morning sunrise and the amazing sunsets right over the water. The home was very spacious and well cared for. With no shade and no AC there were times it got rather warm, however we used this time to explore and enjoy the island. Dan is great, he provided a lot of information that was helpful during our stay; both in regards to the house and around the island. With a just a short walk we were able to access the ocean for some morning snorkeling; the access however, even with the steps, can be a bit tricky as the steps can be slick and the waves crashing in. Overall it’s an excellent home and would definitely stay here again!

Cute little place away from everything

Great spot
.beautiful ocean view. Has everything you’ll need. Although it states they have things like shampoos and body soap. There was none
except for what maybe someone accidentally left from previous stay. Hosts are incredibly nice
.communication with them is awesome. We ran out of a couple things and they got it to us super fast! Just an important fyi to anyone wanting to travel a bunch into Kona and such. This cute and quiet place is an hour away. And the road down to this really cute neighborhood and place is extremely winding
and at times nerve wracking
..especially in the dark. If you don’t mind the drive
this place is a sweet gem! And
.the sunsets are out of this world!!

Heaven on Earth

Coming from the Chicagoland area, I could not have asked for a more peaceful, paradise vacation! Don’t get me wrong, we explored literally all around the big island, immersing ourselves in all it had to offer. But to wake up and fall asleep to the sights and sounds that Dan’s home had to offer though, well that’s just what the doctor ordered (recharge, reset, rebalance, etc) and it really made the vacation! The house was spacious, clean, breezy (the ocean
LOVE), and had everything we needed! The night sky is incredible! We also witnessed rainbows over the ocean multiple times! The neighborhood itself was very quiet. I’m not a fan of some of the roads we experienced on the island, but that’s just me and my nerves
LOL. Dan is an awesome guy with a lot of knowledge and great recommendations, and is easy to get ahold of if needed

So relaxing

Loved the house. The neighborhood is so quiet, we saw a few people walking in morning or evening but other wise didn’t see or hear anybody. It is amazing to open all the doors and windows and sleep to the sound of the ocean. The sunsets are beautiful from the back porch. It is best to stock up on groceries in Kona, there is small stores within 10 minutes but the prices are higher, they do have just about everything you would need. We got some water 1st day at store but then refilled the water jugs provided, the water you get at fill stations taste good. The house was well stocked with basic salt,pepper, coffee filters, small cooler and then odds and ends people have left. We enjoyed just sitting on back porch enjoying the quiet. My husband fished off the rocks and caught quite a few little fish. He snorkeled in front of the house and saw a lot of fish. We went to the park by the house and walked into the beach. It is short hike and only us and another couple on beach all day. We explored a lot of beaches on south end and most were less crowded, you have to hike a little less than a mile for some but payoff is no one there. The road down is curvy but we didn’t find it bad, even drove it at night and it was fine. House is very easy to locate. Enjoyed talking to owner he was very nice and was there for anything we needed. Excellent place for relaxing and will stay here again.

Paradise

We had a wonderful time staying at this house. If you are looking for a lovely house with an amazing view and away from the hustle of the tourist areas, then this is where you want to be. This is exactly what we were looking for! Every night we viewed fantastic sunsets. We didn't eat at a restaurant for dinner the entire time because it was so incredible to be there! The home was comfortable, nicely furnished, well equipped and in good condition. Because you're in a rather remote area, you need to watch water consumption, so you have to be willing to deal with this and not have a dishwasher. To us, it was totally worth it. Dan was a great host. He made great recommendations to us once he knew that we were interested in great snorkeling beaches. Of course we also went to Volcano National Park and visited Pahoa where the last eruption took place. While we were there, there was a threat of a tropical storm predicted to hit the Big Island. Dan spent a lot of time reassuring us that storms don't hit that part of the island but still made the necessary preparations. He came over to the house to talk to us and then kept us updated through text. He was right, we did not get a drop of rain! The storm veered south, though the Hilo side of the island did get some impact. We also met so many nice neighbors. We felt very comfortable there and would take a walk every morning. No shops nearby, but the peacefulness of the area was wonderful. Had to drive a bit to get to places but then the island is big and you do have to drive more. Saw areas i had never seen before and the beautiful overlooks from Kona Joes and another coffee shop were breathtaking.This house was on the ocean and we had beautiful sunsets every night, so peaceful sitting there by the ocean with the waves, I loved it.Thank you for sharing your home!

Amazing views and beautiful place!!

The pictures do not do this place justice! The house was truly beautiful, had everything we needed, and had amazing oceanfront views! Dan was phenomenal before, during, and after our stay. I cannot recommend this place enough. If we ever come back, we will be staying here again!

Great place to unwind!

12 glorious days of sun, fishing, utter relaxation, and an 800 foot lava fountain to put the cherry on top! Hale Hokulani was equipped with everything we needed. View is breathtaking & the hubby enjoyed catching our dinner right outside. All the sliding glass doors and ceiling fans keeps the house nice and cool. There was an internet outage that covered a large portion of the island and Daniel was great about keeping us updated on the status. You are about an hour from Kona & two hours from Hilo. Perfect if you want to do some day trips. Besides the lava tower, watching our niece's halau win top honors at Merrie Monarch made the trip priceless! Mahalo Daniel, we will be back. Amazing Stay with Stunning Ocean Views

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful VRBO rental, and we couldn't be happier with our experience. The ocean view from the property is absolutely breathtaking, providing a serene and picturesque backdrop for a relaxing vacation.The host was fantastic, offering great communication prior to our stay and throughout. They were available to answer any questions and provided excellent recommendations for local points of interest. We enjoyed exploring the nearby attractions, which added so much to our trip.Overall, I highly recommend this rental for anyone looking to enjoy a peaceful getaway with stunning views and top-notch hospitality.

Truly on the Edge of the Ocean

Comfortable and spacious lodging. Perfect for ending our month-long visit to the Big Island. The sounds of the waves was hypnotic. I needed internet to teach and, despite the remote area, was teaching kids on the mainland. You need to be a bit rwith all my tech.

Beautiful Spot Away from the City

The location of this house on the lava rock cliffs overlooking the ocean is amazing. The sound of the waves day/night, and the beautiful blue water is something we enjoyed every day. The location is a bit (45 minutes) out of Kona, so if you don't want to drive much, this probably isn't for you. We enjoyed the winding drive in and out of the neighborhood. The neighborhood itself was very quiet and peaceful. The house is nice with lots of little perks (spices, ample outdoor seating, etc.). The furnishings aren't fancy but are fine. If you are looking for a 5-star hotel, this isn't it, but if you are looking for a quaint, lovely place on the ocean, we would definitely recommend this rental.

Daniel is very helpful with suggestions for beaches, restaurants and other activities. We were there for our 50th wedding anniversary and the house was in a laid back area with great ocean and shorelines visuals that we enjoyed immensely.

I'd want to live here

Just what we were looking for. If you want to just relax and enjoy staying at a wonderful spot, this is it. Our host was very helpful and gave us good info on close by water and beach access. We brought our kayak with us and enjoyed the ocean without having to go very far. Would definitely stay here again. any real distance from the house.

Tolles, sauberes Haus mit direktem Meerblick

Aloha, Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt. Der Vermieter Dan ist ein herzensguter Mensch. Egal welches Problem ihr habt, er wird fĂŒr euch da sein und sein Bestes versuchen. Er wird euch vor dem Ankommen alle wichtigen Tipps geben, nehmt euch die Zeit und lest es in Ruhe durch, es kann euch eine Menge Stress ersparen. Es ist ein sehr dörfliches Umfeld, ein sicherer Zugang zum Meer ( mit Kindern) ist ca. 10 Minuten entfernt (Milolii Beach Park) oder etwas weiter zu Fuß der Honomalino Beach. Das Haus und die Umgebung strahlen sehr viel Ruhe aus und sind ein guter Kontrast zu Oahu/ Honolulu.

Wonderful experience

We were looking for someplace away from the crowds that was peaceful and quiet and that’s exactly what we found at this property. On the water edge with access to snorkeling just down the road. Neighborhood is exceptionally quiet, which was wonderful. The host was easily accessible and provided plenty even information about the house and the area.

We have lived part time in Hawaii for the past 27 years and know the Island intimately and its lifestyle. Because of our vast experience with the Big Island, we chose this location for our home.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

Because we know the Island so well, we took into consideration safe Ocean access, weather, water quality and space away from the "touristy areas" so that our guests could have a true, unique Hawaiian experience. Additionally, our home is located midway between Kona and the resort areas, as well as the Volcano and Puna regions. This cuts down on long drive times during your stay on the Island, going out and back each day.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

Milolii' is one of the few affordable areas that one can live on the water on the Island. Because of the very limited places, this area is not overcrowded nor the property so expensive that the average vacationer is not able to afford a nightly stay. That is why we are offering such a spectacular stay for a very reasonable nightly rate.
