Three Trees Retreat fantastisk utsikt

Three Trees Retreat fick finalisten 2014 Stayz Holiday Rental Awards Miljövänlig kategori. Ett snyggt och modernt hus i en buskmark, bara några steg från en skyddad sandig vik på D'Entrecasteaux-kanalens strandlinje.

Killora är en lugn och avskild del av North Bruny, även om det bara är 15 minuter från Roberts Point färjeterminal och fem minuter från byn Dennes Point, med sin bistro, provenore och galleri.

Titta på delfiner, sälar, pingviner, vitbockade havsörnar och kil-svansarnar från däck medan kvällar, echidnas och wallabies också finns i överflöd. Trädekslet lindas runt till en tillgänglig entréramp på sidan.

Boendet inkluderar en dubbelsäng och två enkelsängar, ett bekvämt vardagsrum med platt-TV och ljudsystem. Det finns tvättmöjligheter, ett fullt utrustat kök och ett badrum som innehåller en stor duschkabin.

Beautiful location and view, and the beds were comfortable. However, there was NO coffee provided (empty instant coffee canister and no sugar or milk). A Bruny island welcome pack would have been great on our arrival for four adults. There were Insufficient mugs or wine glasses provided. Most challenging -the top wall panels were glass in all rooms, meaning that any lights on in any room, meant lights on for all (incl toilet at night). Blinds are needed. I booked for 2 people initially inadvertently and updated the booking to four. Somehow that initiated an extra 310 in ‘host fees’ for the two nights. Given it's advertised as a four-person villa, that seems excessive? Finally, the Stayz website was impossible to communicate with - I sent two emails with no response. Was successful on the third try. I would not use them again.

A slice of heaven

Our first trip to Tasmania. Three Trees Retreat was just what we wanted and needed!Sufficiently isolated for total silence. Our favourite moment was sitting on the deck enjoying Bruny cheese and oysters (and wine obviously) listening to the water gently lapping against the stone beach.We cannot fault the facilities and the cleanliness and proximity to any activity.Our host was always responsive if required.Thank you Rohan

Eating fresh oysters in a delightful location

A lovely place to stay, quiet and beautiful location, the house offering everything we needed for our stay including a fully equipped kitchen and necessary supplies. The highlight going down to the shore to collect oysters each evening. Nothing like fresh Bruny Island oysters with a magnificent view.

Peaceful and Relaxing

Located in a very quiet location on a gravel road, and with such beautiful coastal views, this was the perfect retreat to relax & get back to nature. The villa is very comfortable & cosy, and has pretty much everything you need. We saw lots of birds, marsupials and other wildlife around the area close to the retreat.

Beautiful property, quiet and peaceful

The accommodation was just beautiful and it was so peaceful and quiet. I took a mate as an engagement gift. Everything was clean and tidy. Great size and ambience. We even got visited by a possum! Will definitely stay again!

Charged +50% more through Stayz. Found a direct booking online much cheaper. Poor communication and zero ability to give feedback. Better options on Bruny island

Nature and waterviews

Wonderful location for our family of four (kids aged 6 and 11). Morning and evening paddleboarding was super-easy, you just walk down the house and into the water. Great little beaches and rocky sea shore to explore, plenty of day trips to keep the holiday interesting and good food in the weekend at Denny's Point. The house is nested among trees and has a really simple and calming feel to it. Some kids books and a chess board made the inside time pleasant too for our boys.

peaceful, fabulous views

Really enjoyed our Two night stay at this property. Grabbed our supplies at Kettering fresh fruit and vegies before crossing. Perfect place to base ourselves in nature appreciating the quiet and peacefulness along with stunning views. Used the bbq with fresh produce perfect to sit with a freshing beverage. Wandered along the rocks and the beach foreshore what a beautiful photographic place. Throughly enjoyed our stay while being able to explore beautiful Bruny.

Hideaway with spectacular views

Well designed simple cabin with spectacular views and quiet location on north Bruny. We loved touring the busier parts of the island and sneaking back to our wonderful solitude. Nebraska beach great for low tide walks and afternoon swims.

Exceptional views from the house.

A unique experience. However there were a few negatives. There was no dish washing liquid, the lighting was poor, the fridge was too small as you needed to bring all your food, there was no potmit, and the afternoon sun was so bright when sitting at the dining room table that you needed to have hats on. I didn't know that the road into the property was gravel.
