We had a pleasant stay at this VRBO in Tokyo. The location is a definite highlightânestled in a safe walkable Koreatown neighborhood with plenty of dining, shopping, and a train station nearby. The apartment itself was very clean, with fresh bedding and a tidy bathroom. Beds were comfortable, and having a washing machine was a great bonus for our stay. Communication with the host was excellentâthey were responsive and even brought us extra towels the next morning upon request. Directions from the train station were clear and helpful, and we appreciated the English translations provided for the TV and AC remotes. That said, the accommodations are simpleâclean and functional, but not luxurious. There were no guest amenities beyond a few spoonfuls of instant coffee, and the decor was more basic than the photos suggested. We also had difficulty finding the building when arriving by taxi, our Taxi driver had to get out of the car and ask for directions, which was frustrating after a long journey. It would have helped to be told about the coffee shop across the street, which wouldâve made a great landmark. Also, beware of noisy late night revelers. Speaking of coffee, the shop next door doesnât open until 11 a.m., but Tullyâs Coffee is a 10-minute walk away and opens earlier. Overall, the apartment is a solid optionânothing fancy, but clean, comfortable, and convenient for a small group. Weâd recommend it for travelers who prioritize location and value..
