Newfound Delight

This is a great home with a spacious open floor plan. The home is very clean and well stocked. We enjoyed the location, which is quiet and beautiful, while also being very convenient to Bristol and local restaurants and shops. The hosts are a pleasure to deal with.

Lakefront cottage has it all

We stayed at this cottage for a week and it was a wonderful time. It’s situated in a quiet neighborhood with a huge picture window and a private beach. The kitchen was stocked with everything we could possibly need. We also met a very friendly neighbor. We would highly recommend this cottage.

Very clean nice view of lake through picture window before the leaves fill ln. Didn't know about the house directly behind it but the gentlemen kept to himself.

The lake was beautiful but access to swim in the lake more limited than expected. Fortunately, during my brief stay, the limited access was not a problem.

Great Lakehouse

Perfect house for a weeklong family getaway. We traveled with three small children and this house could not have been better. The house was so clean and a great neighborhood for morning walks with the kids down to the water. The property owners were so welcoming and helpful answering questions (my husband called to make sure the entire Large driveway was ours to park and it was). I would highly recommend and hope to stay again!

Lovely Home

Home was lovely. Really enjoyed the screened in porch. We had the beach all to ourselves, this was amazing. We were there after Labor Day, this was why. But still wonderful. Already booked again for next year!! Have spoken with the owner as well, she was amazing!

Great space for a family

The house was great for 5 of us. Clean and stocked with fun games. It was quite cold when we got there and in order to adequately heat the bedrooms, the two heaters need to be fully turned up and bedroom doors must be kept open which meant little privacy and the living space became quite hot and dry, but I understand that's part of a smaller place in the winter.

Nice stay overall

We enjoyed our stay. Only thing that would have made our stay better would be to have curtains on the windows for privacy when needed. People walking buy and some neighbors can see directly in.

Quiet and peaceful

Very clean great yard for kids to run around away from the road. Nice and quiet weekend also it's November so expected. Check in and check out time not very convenient 4 pm check in and 10 am check out you lose two whole days and no response to emails.

Cute and cozy

We arrived Friday evening and it was cold in the rental but warmed up quickly once we turned up the heater. Was warm and cozy throughout our stay. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking our meals during our stay. Beds were comfortable. There were games to play. We enjoyed a couple games of Scrabble. Our daughter was skating in a tournament at Lake Morey so she and her husband traveled back and forth for her games while the rest of us were planning to do some snowmobiling. Saturday turned out to be brutally cold and windy so snowmobiling did not work out but I reached out to Rachel and asked if there was the possibility of a late check out on Sunday. She graciously allowed a late check out which enabled us a ride on the trails Sunday morning (was still very cold so didn't go for as long as we would have liked). Sunday late morning the power went out so we packed up to leave-the power was back on when we left. We were so happy that we didn't lose power Saturday night when the wind was whipping because we were not sure what we were going to do if we lost power-no back up heat source that we could see. We would definitely rent again. This rental was very convenient distance to the snowmobile trails and would love to try Ragged Mountain next time as we are a skiing family too!

Cozy Thanksgiving Weekend

We enjoyed a crisp November weekend on the lake. Walks, campfire, and Thanksgiving dinner. The change of scenery was a welcome treat during the COVID pandemic. The cottage was cozy and very clean.

Great family trip

We stayed three nights at this house, then returned a few days later for another two nights. The house is very comfortable and a short walk to the lake. Newfound lake is very lovely and we all enjoyed sitting on the dock and swimming. The hosts are very responsive.

Great location

Myself ,my 2 sons and a friend stayed 3 nights and were all impressed with the house. It has a little of everything that you could possibly ask for in a Lake house. Short walk to lake access , raft , dock, and beach area. The house was impeccably clean, had a ping/pong table, horse shoes,kayaks , other yard games and a fire pit. I was also impressed with the portable a/c that cooled the entire house. The owner Rachel that I dealt with was quick, friendly helpful with a couple questions I had. Would definitely rent again.
