Perfect for a relaxing retreat!

Back yard is a private oasis! Tub, pool, great spot for eating and cooking outside, hummingbirds to watch! Very well equipped kitchen.

Best vacation ever!

This property was the perfect place for 3 couples to enjoy a week in wine country! Jim and Kathy were so easy to work with and the house had EVERYTHING we needed plus more. It was a great location to explore up to Geyserville and into lower Napa. The pool and hot tub were the perfect ending to our perfect days of wine tasting. Would absolutely stay here again!

Great location in wine country

This place is a gem. Centrally located in Sonoma Valley, it allowed us to visit a great deal of wineries in both valleys. The house is very well stocked, and has all the amenities needed for a vacation stay. The outdoor areas are incredible, pool, hot tub, patio and outdoor kitchen.

Amazing getaway

A group of friends came from the Midwest to check out wine country, and this location was an absolute dream. The back patio / pool / hot tub makes you feel secluded and surrounded by nature. Would love to come back!

Wonderful get-away

Jim & Kathy were great hosts - they thought of everything to make this feel like home - both inside & out. The inside was well stocked as well as the backyard, perfect for families. We spent all our time in the large, quiet, peaceful and private backyard. We look forward to staying here again.

Spring Fun

We stayed in the house for the BottleRock Festival during spring.The house has very good bedrooms + bathrooms, but what we enjoyed most was the excellent outdoor area with a beautiful swimming pool and a barbecue grill.We also loved the location, a quiet street in Glen Ellen. It was also a great starting point for our bicycle tours in Sonoma and Napa.

Lovely Wine Country Escape

The house is perfect for a wine country getaway. It's less than a half mile walk to town where there is a lovely cafe and a few restaurants and tasting rooms. Close driving distance to several wineries as well as Jack London State Park.We spent most of our time at the house enjoying the huge, heated pool. Tons of space and seating areas to lounge in the backyard as well. Beds were comfortable, everything was easy to find, instructions were clear, hosts were available/responsive. Would definitely stay again.

Favorite to date!

There were 5 of us and we all just loved this short term rental! It had all the necessities and more. So cozy and conveniently located! The hot tub was so relaxing, the kitchen fully stocked, beautiful deck and view. We went on a 4 mile walk from the house that was amazing! Just can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay! Highly recommend!

What an incredible stay with my wife and friends! James was super easy to connect with! The house had every amenity you could ask for! I have to say this was the easiest home we have stayed in as far as rules and processes! We will be back!

OK, I want to give this property a 5 star rating, but I just can't. The owner was AMAZING, super nice. Check in and out was easy and so easy. The back yard was to die for. If you have a group, it is so all inclusive you will die. There is a HEATED pool and a spa. A covered outdoor sitting area and table for morning/night eating or whatever you want. There are manyy propane patio heaters! Blankets. Enough lounge chairs and floats etc you could ever imagine. Here comes the but................ The inside is super dated needs to be updated. The carpet is kinda gross and needs to be taken out or updated. We used the kitchen with a chef, there was more than enough pots and pans, plate and utensils, that was good. There is ample room to park and awesome amenities. You do NOT need to buy anything, including coffee! That was awesome. The view is great as well. I actually loved it!!

Wonderful Place to Stay

Kathy and Jim are wonderful hosts. The house is welcoming, in a great neighborhood and an all around wonderful place to stay while visiting Sonoma County. The backyard is out of this world, with the pool, hot tub and beautiful scenery. Anytime we are in Sonoma we will definitely be staying there.

Adorable Home

The house is beautiful, clean with all amenities in abundance. We were a group of 6 girls that had the most amazing time relaxing in the house. We were welcomed by a fresh oranges from the gardens on the property! The hot tub was clean and available for use. We were able to contact the caretakers immediately for any questions. Highly recommend and would go again.

Had the best time!

This property is amazing and we had a great time. We were here on a girls' trip in wine country and the house was better than we could've imagined. Hosts were wonderful - met us upon arrival to explain the property. House was well stocked with a great view and amazing amenities. So well located to Napa and Sonoma and downtown Glen Ellen for restaurants/grocery shopping. Felt so safe and comfortable. Just simply stunning property. Would come back over and over again!

Stay at Wine Country Retreat in Glen Ellen

This house is really beautiful and has it all, and it's in a great location walking distance to the town of Glen Ellen. The pool and hot tub are awesome. Kathy and Jim were wonderful hosts. We would absolutely recommend this place to any travelers looking to stay in the area.

Great place for a girls weekend

We had such a nice time at the property! It was to celebrate my 50th bday and the owners even put up balloons all over the house. We spent a lot of time outside hanging together on the deck or in the pool. Lots of good wineries in the area.

Amazing birthday / family vacation!

The backyard is like your own private oasis. The kiddos (8 and 9 year old) loved the scooter, pool toys, diving board, etc. We adults loved how close the wineries were, the view from the deck with a glass of wine, and the hot tub. I arrived to a tart and bottle of chilled champagne for my birthday. The owners were prompt and generous. It was just the getaway we needed. We will definitely be back!

Luxury property with all amenities

We had a relaxing stay with all needed amenities and luxurious additions available at the property. Very clean premises with a great pool and hot tub. All basic amenities were easily available and quick response from property manager as well. Had fresh vegetation at the property too! Will visit again :)
