Getaway trip

This property is absolutely amazing! Close to town but secluded and so quiet and relaxing. The creek that wraps around the house is so lovely. Our kids LOVED playing in it. The back porch is the best part! So much family fun and relaxing! 10/10

Awesome!!

This little house was an awesome getaway for my wife and I that we desperately needed! Not only did they have everything we needed but also went out of their way to provide us with propane for the fireplace even out of season. They even had a crock pot we used a couple of times! We lived on the screened in porch lounging, reading, talking and playing games for most of the week, just listening to the waterfalls in the creek. It was so incredibly relaxing!! We would recommend this to anyone interested in a relaxing getaway!!

Amazing property!!

We were completely happy with this trip. The host, Dana, was super nice and responsive, and met us at check-in to go over any info we needed to know at the house. The house was surprisingly clean and well maintained. It was stocked with plenty of supplies, along with bonuses like smores and snacks. The creek wraps around the house so it was really nice to be able to explore all of that in a pretty private setting. We loved the screened in porch with the sound of the waterfall right outside. There was a bed/swing on the porch that we loved, so now have to get one for our house. :)All in all, we had no complaints and hated to leave. Dana really took care of us, and we'd love to come back soon.

Everything is perfect about this property from the farmhouse decor, special touches and location. Did I mention the screened-in porch? Or the waterfall steps from the porch? We’ll be back.

Amazing!!

The house & property are absolutely beautiful! Sitting out on the screen porch listening to the stream/falls beside us was our favorite part! So relaxing! The owner is so nice & easy to get in touch with. The house was ready, so she text us to see if we wanted to check in early. She met us at the house to personally welcome us, give us a tour & answer any questions. We will definitely be going back & hope to stay longer next time!

Amazing house and amazing owner!

Fist let me say this house was perfect! It was immaculate everything you could and possibly need the owner went the extra mile with added touches!! She was amazing so kind and quick to respond .She even greeted us at the property! We love love love the back porch and the fire pit and sound of the creek! She even had s’more supplies ! I highly recommend this amazing property!

Amazing Place! Amazing Guest Host!

This was our first trip with this company and boy were we treated like royalty! Dana our guest host was amazing! She went above and beyond with anything we needed. She created us at check in there were snacks and refreshments she even had s’more supplies ready a a long for the fire pit! Her attention to detail in the home was amazing she had thought of everything you might need or want. Check in and check out was a breeze. The only thing I wish I had done was booked for a longer stay!!!!! It was amazing.

To capture this in pictures would be challenging. A beautiful cabin nestled on a beautiful property. Sitting on the porch, you can enjoy the creek and waterfalls sounds. The side porch with fireplace is cozy and relaxing. The house is clean and smells lovely. The driveway was easy to navigate compared to others in the area. Very close to the main downtown area.

Magical stay! This cottage is A+++

My daughter and I visited in March and loved it so much that I had to make sure I left a glowing review. The owners are amazing and met us for check in. You can feel the love poured into this home the minute you walk in the door. It was very quiet but I still felt safe. It was a perfect location to visit Helen. There is no scary mountain road or steep uphill driveway like places I have stayed before in north GA. My daughter was enthralled with the creek and played for hours. It was peaceful and relaxing! The cabin is beautifully decorated and set up with details like snacks and stuff for s’mores. Can’t wait for a return visit!

A little piece of heaven

My husband and I needed a getaway and selected this beautiful and tranquil home. The deck with bed swing as well as the creek flowing peacefully along was absolutely what we needed to decompress and rest. The home is immaculately clean and tastefully decorated. A little slice of Heaven

Pictures do not do this property justice. It's quaint and very well kept with a peaceful creek next to the screened in porch. We spent most of our time out there. Perfect area to catch the game or read a book. Located about 4 minutes from downtown Helen, the location couldn't be better. The house has everything you need with added bonuses that the owner supplies to make your stay even better. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Helen.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Hootenanny at Horton Creek! Dana, the owner, met us at check-in and showed us around the property, filling us with wonderful stories and showing us everything we needed to know about the house and more. It made our time there so much more meaningful. The creek is wonderful and definitely a highlight of the property! The “driving bridge” is so neat and such an amazing thing! The screen porch is amazing and the house had everything we needed. The house is lovely and everything was exactly as pictured with lots of personal touches. It was a peaceful place and we definitely want to return! We would give six stars if we could! Just lovely!

Our stay was awesome. A very modern and relaxing atmosphere. All of the conveniences and more were thought of by the owner. From the moment we arrived, we felt relaxed and comfortable. The entire property is beautiful. We definitely will be returning again.

Beautiful and relaxing!

This is probably our 5th stay here and we absolutely love it. A beautiful home and amazing creek that runs through the property. The screened porch is my favorite for listening to the waterfall and creek. We will be back soon!

AMAZING PROPERTY

There are not enough stars to rate this property!!!! Quiet, peaceful and just a perfect getaway for our weekend retreat. The cabin was like new, so clean and modern decorations!! We enjoyed the screened in porch listening to the creek every evening! The special touches (smores/ duck creek racing/firepit) show the host has a personal connection with making the property "homey" for its guests. As first timers to the area, we were delighted that we were centrally located to everything we wanted to do (hiking/fishing). Our host was so personable, we enjoyed reviewing her book regarding the history of the property. Our only wish was that we could have stayed longer! What a fantastic experience!!! We will definitely plan another visit!

Spring Break Family Time

Awesome! Great quiet space for small families close to Helen shops. The sound of the Norton Creek outside the screen porch is heaven. Really nice fold-out couch for extra sleeping. Top bunk only allows a maximum weight of 100 lb so be aware of that if you have grown teenagers like we do. Is cabin has all the bells and whistles! We've already recommended this cabin to several family and friends and we'll be back as well!
