This cozy studio, 1 bathroom is pet-friendly and features ground level entrance, a covered balcony and electric heating throughout. The kitchenette features a full-size fridge, stovetop, microwave, and oven (please note: The home does NOT have a dishwasher). Relax on the comfy leather couch after a long day on the hill and watch a movie on the flatscreen TV, or play cards at the dining table with seating for 4. There is a Queen bed in the living area as well as a pull-out sofabed. The full bathroom is complete with vanity and shower/tub combo with an additional separate vanity area for use while the bathroom is occupied. This unit sleeps a maximum of 4 people, is pet-friendly (one pet allowed, additional upon approval only), and non-smoking. The home comes with two outdoor unassigned parking spaces. The Mammoth Estates complex is conveniently located one block to The Village and entrance to the Village Gondola. Stay close to all the action in The Village without the hustle and bustle. The complex offers outdoor parking, a year-round hot tub, sauna, pool (Summer only), public gas grill, recreation room, and laundry facilities. All guests receive complimentary full access to Snowcreek Athletic Club to enjoy facilities including indoor heated pool, steam/sauna, full fitness facility, yoga, Pilates and cycle studio and more. Prime location

Property was as advertised and worked perfectly for us. The best part was location. I parked the car Thursday afternoon and did not use it again until Sunday departure. Short walk to the Village for gondola/skiing as well as dining.

Amazing location for a quick ski weekend for the family.

We booked this place last min. The location was amazing and the place was super cute. The only thing that i would say is that there was dog hair in the carpet and furniture. But that’s normal for pet friendly places.

Great location

The patio offers a great view you can watch bikers as they come down the hill. But there is no comfortable furniture just two basic plastic chairs. The shower needs to be replaced and came off twice during my stay.

Good location, but common space was on the fritz again

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit was great for us (9/10). The rocking chair seems a bit out of place in such a small unit. There isn't much space for ski equipment, but we made it work. We were a family of 4 with 3 of us using the hill.The location was good, except the shuttle skips the local stop in the mornings when full. You need to pay attention on the shuttle because many of the numbers on the stops are missing. We easily were able to walk to the Village.The Jacuzzi was down for 2 days. This seems to be a common occurrence here. It was compounded by the not working too. The pinball machine was also down and nobody tried to figure out billiards. There was a ping pong table with balls and paddles.

Reviewer Comments: The rental experience was very good, easy to book, accurate pictures of condo, good location and amenities, and easy to pick up check in materials late at night after hours. The condo had everything we needed in the kitchen and was perfect for our family. Our only problem was that the Queen bed was not very comfortable, and the pull out couch was not very comfortable for adults. If the unit had a new Queen mattress then we would definitely rent again. Everything else was great and overall we were really happy with our stay and the check in and out was super easy.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property had several great qualities. First of all, LOCATION! 8 minute walk to the village gondola. Second, semi outdoor jacuzzi just steps from the front door of the condo. Third, a large outdoor patio that my dog loved to relax on in the cold. Condo is small but has everything you need. The only thing I didn’t like was the TV! No cable so could not watch local news/shows etc. and was too complicated to figure out. There were very few channels to watch so we ended up having to watch Carol Burnett for 3 days.

Trash sleep

I go to mammoth to be outdoors. I don’t mind minimalist accommodations. There’s just one thing that’s a must for me, and that’s the ability rest and refresh for my next day’s adventures. I need a good night’s sleep, and I can’t do that on a trash mattress like this unit features. The springs are completely shot out. One’s back is basically in a folded “U” shape all night, as if you’re in a hammock. Not a comfortable hammock though, this one is lumpy and loud. I used this unit during peak holiday season, and prices were high all over town. ($188 single day lift tickets!) That being said, I’m pretty sure my 3 night stay’s profits alone could finance an entire new bed set up. The studio set up is comfy. The location is fantastic. Next trip I’m going to look for another unit in this same condo complex.

The furniture in the photo is what is in the unit, but not in good repair. There is not much space around the table and it results in making the chairs hard to use. The single biggest factor was the carpet. It was filthy. Needs a good cleaning. We were afraid to walk around in our bare feet.

It's a great location, walking distance to the village and we brought our 10-lb dachshund mix. I knew it was a semi-studio from the pictures, so keep in mind it is cozy (it was my wife and I and our adopted teen-ager on the sofa bed). The pen for our dog was tough to place where it wasn't being stumbled over. The bed is old, but I was able to sleep on it. It could be refreshed, as well as the pillows being a little worn. We used the throw pillows to provide support. This was incongruous with the obvious recent upgrades that had been done to the tile floors, bathroom fixtures, and cabinets. I'd love to stay in the same complex again, but I'll pick a different unit for a better night's sleep.

Satisfactory - You Get What You Pay For

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I stayed at this vacation rental unit after the 2023 Thanksgiving holiday. I chose it for it 1) being dog-friendly, 2) walking distance to the Village, and 3) being the cheapest rate. It has everything you need for your extended weekend vacation. You get what you pay for because all the furniture was stiff and felt like free donated furniture. You can hear and feel the bed springs and the couch wasn't comfortable to sit on longer than one hour. The stone tiles in the hallway and bathroom were much colder than I was expecting, but that's what you get from a bottom floor unit in the winter. With those topics, anyone can put up with. The only red flags were the quality of the cleaners before we arrived. There were used towels on the bathroom floor when we arrived and a clear plastic bag full of bed sheets on top of the divider wall near the couch. That bag made us question if we were sleeping in new sheets or used sheets from the previous guests. Overall, for the price and location, I'm satisfied.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall we had a good stay. I was very grateful to find pet friendly accommodations. Kitchen was well appointed and the unit was not new, but was clean. Staff was kind enough to call and let us know the unit was ready early. Location was terrific—short walk to Gondola (uphill on the return with tired legs!) The unit smelled of strong cleaning agents when we arrived and since the snow blocked all the windows it took awhile to air out but once that cleared up it was not a problem. Took us awhile to find the tiny cable box ! Was hidden behind the books under the tv and very tiny—written directions on how to operate the tv would have helped.

Great location, very functional

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been staying at Mammoth Estates for years. We love the location to the village. The studios are perfect for a couple or small family. The 2 and 3 beds have a great setup for the larger crew.With saying that we have been staying here for years, I will comment that it is time for some general upkeep and furniture replacement. The same broken furniture and issues have remained for years now. For the price of renting a unit there should be some minimum standard of upkeep required by the owner. It is obvious in many units that they are purely a cash cow that the owner never steps foot in. It is not that hard to do a coat of paint, replace broken handles, replace sheets, etc. I get it that they are rentals but the condition is getting really quite poor.Lastly, we were staying during one of the many snowstorms last time we were up and asked for a late check out. I had spent the morning digging my car out just so we could load it up. The staff was shoveling sidewalks and there was a full blizzard underway. I left a message for management at 8am asking for the late check out due to conditions. They called us back at 9:56 saying we had to be out by 10. When I got off the phone the cleaning crew was at our door and pushing us out. We were given minutes to try and best cover everything up and get it outside. Then my pregnant fiance and dog had to stand outside in the blizzard while I frantically kept shoveling to uncover the car enough so they could get in while plows were coming by and recovering the car. That was pretty unbelievable to do to us.We will stay again because we did stay many times while it was under the old management with Julie. The new management needs to tighten up a bit.
