The home is exactly as described in the reviews. Very clean, responsive host, great location and amazing views. We even saw some dolphins swim by! The only downside was the hot tub was down and we were not told until 2 days before our stay. Unfortunate but out of the owners control and was still an amazing property overall. We had a wonderful stay and the home was perfect for our family.

Great house with awesome location. We really enjoyed our time for a girls weekend getaway. The pool was fantastic! The house has so many amenities we didnt need anything! Susan was a wonderful host and she was very communicative. The hot tub wasn’t working during our visit which was a bummer but we can’t complain about anything else :). Thanks so much!

Beautiful home. Great location and easy access to many different restraunts and attractions. Our family really enjoyed the pool and hot tub at the location. We loved our stay. Would highly recommend!

Everything that the property advertised was spot on. The property was more beautiful in person. Fabulous layout for a large group, with plenty to do around the house and the area. Just beautiful and a perfect vacation spot! The hosts were outstanding and we hope to rent again.

Our family of eight had a wonderful time! There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out. We loved the pool, crabbing, fishing and watching the boats. The kitchen was stocked very well. We appreciated that towels were plentiful and not limited by guest.Location was great! The hosts were very responsive.

The pictures really do not do the property justice! The house is huge, clean and the kitchen is stocked with every cooking utensil, pot, pan, steamer, crockpot and others. We had the pleasure of meeting the property owners Dan and Susan, super fantastic people! My daughter’s wedding was at the Gala 417, this house is very conveniently close. We hosted several people at the house the day after and this property was the perfect space!

We enjoyed the dolphin so much. The house is clean, the location is perfect if you dont really want to be in the beach daily. The restaurants and grocery is just less than a mile or a mile-ish. The house by the water make it accessible for fishing and crabbing. The pool being salt water also made it warm and really nice to get into the daily. We are looking forward in staying here again.

Great location, comfortable beds, well stocked with everything you need. Pool was nice, had to wait a day or so to use it because of the residue on everything because of the wrong decision made by the previous guests being inconsiderate and shutting off the pump.not cool . But the owner was on top of it and made it all right. I would stay there again. Than you Susan.

**Excellent stay!** The A&B was very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The hosts were friendly, welcoming, and responded quickly to any questions I had, making the entire experience smooth and stress-free. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay.

Our hosts, Susan and Dan, were friendly, responsive, and great to work with.We very much enjoyed the pool. Hot tub was nice but the weather was a bit too warm to use it!We made good use of the Weber grill and appreciated the gas starter. The kitchen was large and fully stocked with just about any appliance or gadget you might need. The ice maker was especially handy as the refrigerator did not have an ice maker. We just put the ice in the freezer as it was made.Towels were plentiful and beach towels are available for use.The property was very close to trails and beach access. We appreciated being away from the busy boardwalk areas.Overall, a great place to stay with our adult children!

The house was perfect for us! It had everything we needed in the kitchen to cook. We needed two king beds & this house had three king beds. We had a problem with a tv in one of the bedrooms & the host had a new one installed before the end of the day - much appreciated! The weather was cool during our stay so we didn’t use the pool or hot tub, but we made use of the Weber grill. We enjoyed watching the boats go by! We would definitely recommend this house to anyone visiting this area.

This is a truly lovely home. The pool, the hot tub and being on the canal were the highlights. The pergola gave plenty of shade, even on the hottest days we were there. The house itself was exceptional - the furniture and mattresses were high quality where you sometimes find cheap, not well-made IKEA-like furniture in a rental, this home had actual furniture that was comfortable and inviting.There was plenty of everything you need in the kitchen for cooking (loved the double oven for cooking for a crowd), but the house was also near a lot of great restaurants (we really enjoyed Chick's Oyster Bar and Bubba's Seafood). We were close enough to Virginia Beach to easily head down that direction, but we also really enjoyed the beaches and trails at the First Landing State Park.We appreciated all the pool toys, floats and beach towels provided by the host. I think the only thing we were missing were a couple of beach lounge chairs by the pool! 100% recommend.
