Stunning, modern lake and park retreat, just 1 km south of Riding Mountain National Park. The cabin has tons of natural light, cedar ceilings and heated concrete floor. Enjoy the large patio with dining set and BBQ, a bonfire or dip in the private hot tub in the secluded yard. Easy access to the hiking trails. Other area attractions include Elkhorn Spa as well as restaurants and local fresh bakery. Snowshoeing, cross country skiing & hiking are popular in the area. Start your day off with a steaming cup of coffee and make a delicious breakfast in the modern, equipped kitchen. If you're not in the mood to cook, make your way to the bakery or delicious dining options at Clear Lake or Onanole (limited options in the off season). Next, it's time to explore the great outdoors, a breath-taking area for walking and site seeing. Make a trip to the spa for some pampering. End your day with a cozy bonfire, relax in the hot tub (operational year round). There are a number of enticing options to keep you as busy or relaxed as you'd like. Come and enjoy! We had an excellent time at the Bears Den. The unit has everything you need for a great stay! We enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit area daily and appreciated the fully stocked kitchen. Thanks for the great stay!

Beautiful spacious property and very quiet. Had everything we needed on site and I packed way too much stuff. Would be nice to have a half bath or ensuite for a rental of this cost but other than that everything was perfect. Oh - and a strainer for the kitchen lol but that's pretty minor. Owners were always available to respond when needed.

Property is very nice. Rooms were clean and had everything you needed. Very nice deck and backyard space with a nice hot tub. AC unit unfortunately made a consistent loud noise that could not be turned off unless the whole unit was off and people staying prior to us used briquettes in the BBQ so we had to give it a good clean before using it as the BBQ would not start. However owners were very quick to reply to our texts. We would stay here again

We stayed at the property with our three kids, 7,4 and 2. My husbands siblings and their families stayed at 2 of the other cabins on the property. It made for the perfect reunion. No complaints about the Cabin. We truly enjoyed our time here and it was so close to clear lake. Would highly recommend!

A great place to stay!

The property was exactly as described, and had everything we needed (including a tea kettle and roasting sticks for the fire pit). The host was quick to respond to questions. Also, the wifi was great!

The Bear’s Den was amazing! Clean and spacious and very convenient to Riding Mountain National Park. Comfortable and a nice hot tub too! Very pleasant host. Would go again!

Great stay!

Loved how modern and luxurious this place is! Great location too, not far from Clear Lake park area or the town of Onanole so everything was accessible. The management team was also very willing to help out and give information which was awesome.

Perfect ladies weekend getaway!

We had the most wonderful stay at this cabin for our ladies' weekend getaway! The space was beautifully designed, thoughtfully laid out, and had everything we needed to feel right at home. The location was perfect—just a short drive to all the shops and restaurants in Wasagaming, but still peaceful and private. We especially loved the cozy firepit area for our evening chats. Couldn’t have asked for a better place. We’d definitely stay here again!

Perfect location for annual friends weekend

First time staying at this place but not our first time in the area. Place was as it looks in the pictures, beds were OK, quick drive to a few hiking trails. Kitchen had almost everything we needed. Bring saran wrap, parchment paper or foil if you plan to use Bbq or oven. Nice full size fridge with ice maker and large seating area inside and out. Owners were responsive.

Winter Getaway!

Lovely modern property visit while enjoying a Manitoba winter. Close access to groomed multi-use trails and a short drive to groomed cross country ski trials. The hot tub was a welcome reprieve after a great and challenging ski.

Family holiday

It was good exprience at near riding mountain park. The place looked cozy, hotub and firepit were excellent but it was not clean. Inside oven and bathtub sprayer were dirty.
