Welcome to Blue Jay Hideaway. We are located just outside Manitoba's first National Park. The town of Wasagaming is about a 15 minute walk away. For your convenience, we have a binder at the cottage with information on the park and local amenities.

Our cabin is equipped with not only an indoor kitchen, but also an outdoor cook shack complete with a wood burning stove and sink.

Your kids will be easily entertained with the playground and basketball court right across the street. You can relax or cook dinner while they are enjoying themselves within eyesight.

We have WIFI available for all guests. Our TV is equipped with a Roku so you can sign into your Netflix or Disney accounts at your leisure. Please ensure you logout of your accounts at departure. We cannot be held responsible for future guests viewing on your account if you forget to sign out. We also have a DVD player with an assortment of DVD's for you to choose some if you would rather.

Excellent time

The property was great and the host was extremely attentive. The cottage was easy to find and was just fine for what we needed. We were lucky to get it on short notice. I was only disappointed by the unexpected extra $200 fee that was added to the cost when I originally signed up. There was no warning that there would be the extra fee.

Nice place

A very nice and clean place to stay. Very quite neighborhood with the playground right across from the cabin. The property manager was very kind and responded to texts immediately. I would highly recommend and will definitely stay again.

Perfect for a family getaway

We shared this cabin with family friends and were comfortably able to sleep 8 people. Lisa is a wonderful host and was very accessible leading up to and during our stay. The proximity to RMNP is great and it’s nice to have a quiet space to retreat to away from the busy tourism right in Clear Lake (although we really enjoyed spending many hours in the Park over our three day stay). Highly recommend this rental property! Very clean and well cared for.

Ken and myself both spent our childhood's vacationing at Clear Lake. We now get to share the same experience with our two children. We couldn't imagine a better place to spend our time and create lasting memories.

Blue Jay Hideaway is in the best location in Grey Owl. You can experience the community feeling of Grey Owl while still enjoying the privacy our well treed lot provides. With the playground and basketball court right across the street, you can either relax or prep your meals at the cabin while keeping your kids in eyesight. The walking path into the town site is located at the end of the road. The garbage and recycling bins are located right at the end of our street so cleanup is easy.

Enjoy the old fashion feel of cooking when you use our cookshack. It is equipped with an antique wood burning stove as well as a fridge, sink and prep table so you can prepare your meal start to finish outside.

Looking for some downtime in the morning or before bed? Our cabin has WIFI access as well as a TV with a Roku so you can sign into your Netflix or Disney accounts to watch your favourite shows. We also have a DVD player and an assortment of DVD's if you would rather.
